The pizza was excellent. The crust was fantastic., crunchy- not to thin and not too doughy. The service was very good. Our server was very personable and solicitous. The decor was great. The atmosphere was a little distracting. There were multiple TV's, tuned to different channels. If you wanted to watch your game, you had to lean out and twist around. They should either make the TV's more user friendly or get rid of them except in the bar.
Review Source:I liked the pizza...but I liked the guy that took my order even better.
I called a little after 8 to see how long it would take to get a 12inch pizza ready and to confirm their close time (website said 10). Â He said it would take about 15 min and they close at 9, but if I called the pizza in he would have it ready for me even if it was a little past. Â I didn't put him through that. Â Picked it up around 845.
Just a couple of guys still hanging out at the bar...but even they were friendly when I came in to get my pizza
Nice hot, crispy crust. Â Kinda thick...but that's ok by me. Â
Got the kitchen sink and ate in my car like an addict... sigh.
Pretty good pizza.
We decided to try this place after finding a coupon stuck to our Window after a trip to Walmart.
The server said all the right words to try and seem friendly but he really had no personality and it felt awkward dealing with him at times. Most of the time the staff was congregated at the bar and seemed to be enjoying each other's Company.
We decided on a family deal which included any 12" pizza, cheesy garlic bread, and salad for everyone at the table. My wife and son decided on the wedge salad. Turns out that is a 1/4 wedge cut out of a head if lettuce. Trying to be fancy I guess? My salad was served with fancy greens. The bread was fantastic but was just way too small a portion. The salads were decent sized and tasted good.
On to the pizza. We ordered the sammy-vore. Gotta love an all meat pizza! It came out and looked incredible. It didn't taste like it looked. The crust tasted as if it was frozen. It had an odd consistency and was a little too done for me. It had a burnt taste to it. The toppings were pretty bland and I was not a fan of the sauce they used.
This place was a little confusing. It looks as if it wants to be a neighborhood sports bar with all the tvs up but tries for the fancier cuisine. It doesn't fit for me.
Not the worst place I have been to but far from the worst. I would give it another shot and try something other than a pizza.
The restaurant itself is clean. The layout seemed a bit backwards with the bar right up front as you walk in and the seating a little more tucked in around the side.
