We went on a Sunday night from 7-9 pm. The place had a decent size crowd but not too crowded (which was perfect for me) & a good band was singing.
It is good for any age over 21.
Good drinks. I didn't try any food.

"So guys, what are we doing tonight?" Everyone: "Seacrets!"

It's hard for me to write this review because I miss Seacrets so much. But here it is:

So I just got back from a weeklong stay in ocean city, and me and my three friends went to Seacrets just about every night. This was our first summer being 21 in ocean city and we had heard all the hype about Seacrets and knew we wanted to check it out. WOW.  What an amazing place. If you're looking for a great time, one that you'll never forget, go to Seacrets.

This place has so many different people and such a great atmosphere. There are great views of the bay at night and the scenery is awesome. The perfect combination of drinking, dancing and interacting with such a wide range of people. You never know who you're going to meet at this place. We met so many people and made such great memories that we'll never forget.

My friends and I had such great nights here and were so bummed when it was time to leave oc. Definitely the highlight of my trip.  Definitely will be back here next summer and I can.. not.. wait..

Go here with a group of friends and live life to the fullest.

Seacrets oh Seacrets. Its THE party location in OCMD and many would be happy to spend their entire vacation at this place.  The nightlife is a far better option over the day hangout.  The bay seems a bit gross to me where the entertainment and music offered at night is much more appealing.  Cover charge is usually $10 and drinks are decently priced. I have never had the food.

Seacrets is probably the most well known bar in the state of Maryland and maybe the most well known on the East Coast.  Does it live up to the hype?  YES.

During the day, the entire bay resembles something you'd see on Spring Break.  The people watching alone is top notch.  You can easily spend the entire day here without realizing how much time went by.  It's just that awesome.

The crowd at night is more diverse which also makes for great people watching.

You can't go wrong with Seacrets.

This is my favorite place! With the multiple bands and djs at night there is a room and music genre for everyone's taste. It's also great if you have ADD and like to move around and see different things. It's a huge place and so much fun. During the day is even more wilder than at night. Thousands of people party in the bay and on the beach. This place is so much fun. Everyone should go at least once!

Today is my birthday and we just had lunch at Seacrets.  The weather was perfect, and we were seated at a table where we could watch the water taxi pick up passengers from boats and bring them to the restaurant.  There was Jamaican music in the background, and you could not help but enjoy the warm breezes and atmosphere.
I had one of my standard meals here - the Bean Burger Sandwich and Fries. Never had a better veggie burger with the exception of my daughter's bean burger.  My husband had the shrimp salad sandwich as it was nicely seasoned.  A very pleasant place where old folks like us can feel at home among the young and hip crowd.

If you come to Ocean City, you have to come to Seacrets! Its just a must....

Its HUGGGEE!!! and usually packed.. but they have music for everyone... We paid $10 to get in and waited on a 10 minute line... We walked from room to room enjoying all the different genres and dancing... We stayed in the dance room with the AC to stay cooler....

Every year we come and every year we have fun...

I have been here during the day in the rafts but I do think they are a little grimey... I prefer to come at night!!

CRAZY. CRAZY. CRAZY. This place is nuts! My girlfriend and I went there for dinner and got the jerk chicken fingers which were awesome. The seasoning was spot on, but a little expensive since they were on the small size. I got the jerk chicken cheese steak which was decent, but nothing special. Place was packed because there were fireworks later that night and people of all ages were falling over drunk and being obnoxious. A must visit, but it would have been better to come with a group of people because you can get lost in this place!

We had no idea that we were walking to the largest party spot in the area. We choose it based on other Yelp reviews and took the local bus to the address. It's like Cabo Wabo but bigger. They have 19 bars and about 4 stages with one being in the night club area. We were sat literally water side with one of the wall of our booths being sea rocks and heavy nautical chain. It was gorgeous because we got there just at sunset. I had the Jamaican nachos and added crabmeat. My date had the crabmeat sandwich. It was so cool and intriguing at night that we came back the next day to hang out in the booth area that is situated in the inlet sea water. I had the "Pain in De Ass" frozen drink, the "Sting", and my favorite; the "Dirty Banana." I'd love to go back with a bunch of friends on a sunny day!

Oh, Seacrets. Where to begin? First off, Seacrets is huge. It can be jam packed and yet it's easy to get a drink and plenty of space to move around. I was there the week of July 4th and it always seems to be popping, and some sort of live music. Gorgeous scenery! They apparently spend a ridiculous amount of money to have palm trees shipped in each summer. You do NOT feel like you are in Maryland! The food is good! I had the quesadilla and it was delish. My fiancé and my dad had the crab cake sandwich and really liked it. Now... About the drinks! Seacrets is one of those places where I always have fun but you know it's going to be a little on the trashy side. They have a booty shaking competition, and I saw several sets of boobs throughout the night- some on purpose, some just drunk girls not even realizing their goods were out. A lot of people start drinking there in the bay in the afternoon so by the evening they are waste face. It's definitely entertaining, and if you aren't into that scene, it's big enough you can go elsewhere (there are calmer parts). When we need a break from the craziness, we like to sit out on the dock and watch the sun set. It's gorgeous. The night club is very fun! For the 4th they had an excellent cover band. Confetti and balloons drop from the ceiling. For drinks, they are kind of expensive, but good. Pain in de ass is my favorite, and it will put you on your ass. Dirty banana is good too!!
It's a must-go anytime I'm in Ocean City! I love the live music, variety of scenes/vibes in one location, excellent people watching, yummy food and drinks, and dancing. I know I always have an entertaining night ahead when I go.

It's exactly what you could expect.  What an awesome creation.  Ridiculous amounts of bouncers / security guards.  The bartenders / servers were all a ton of fun.  I feel they have a lot of room to get creative with their food, which doesn't seem to have happened yet.  Fager's Island is where we went after and had a much better scene for upper 20 somethings.  That said, apples and oranges in terms of what Seacrets offer during the day.  Feet in the water being served drinks... pretty cool!

Paradise on Earth. This place lives up to the hype as the Best Bar on the East Coast. It's no joke. Go. Do yourself a favor, bring a group, and crush it.

Before I went to Dewey Beach for a bachelor party, everyone said you MUST, YOU MUST make it to Seacrets in Ocean City. Obviously, it wasn't easy or cheap since we had 11 guys pack into a van, but it was worth it. No drinking & driving and the ability to spend the day boozing all day.

Some things to think about. Seacrets is a big place, but the rumor of getting lost is nonsense. If you have 1/2 a brain, you won't lose your group. Cell phone/money getting wet. I did see a few people dropping their phones in the water destroying it, but this wasn't the case with my friends at all. You'll be wasted by 3:00p.m if you get there early enough is not true either. The drinks are pretty watered down and the food is very good for a bar, so if you compose yourself enough, you will last the day and/or more.

My advice: Get to Seacrets early. We arrived a little after 11am to a place that was starting to get busy. We were able to grab three tables on the beach area with a great waitress and we always had at least one guy up there throughout the day watching our stuff and holding the table. When we moved from the table, a group would go hang in the water, which is definitely the best part of Seacrets. When we needed drinks, up to the table to grab some more while the other group would jump to the water. Sounds annoying? It's not and it's the ideal strategy.

Again, Seacrets is insane. The people watching is top notch and everything, everything about Seacrets is perfect. I will be back once a year till I'm dead. I WILL be that old man with the cane hanging by the bar because I want to be and it's that good.

This is one of the most fun places I have ever been! It's Mardi Gras on crack. It's a ton of drunk people. dancing, screaming, singing, slutting it up all over the damn place. It's wild, it's crazy and its a sight to see. You enter in a huge line but after you get in there are soo many bars and its covered in sand. :)

She said..."3 stars for the ambiance of this place. Really cute place to go and experience a fun time in OC. However, if i were giving this rating for just the food or service it would be 0 stars. Sooooo pricey for below average food. I got a crab cake sandwich and side salad and it was 20$. The salad was worse than one you would get from Wendy's....literally came with a dressing packet on top of some cardboard bowl the salad came in. It tasted old. The crab cake was alright, but not worth the wait. When we walked in to get seated, we literally waited 20 minutes to get served because no one even noticed us. All the waitresses are like in high school and don't care to wait on anyone. I would say I would want to go back there just to drink, but the drinks were 9 dollars each...so probably not."

He said..."So if you go to OCMD you have to go here is the rule I hear...this place definitely has its niche, but service for sit down ordering was horrible. I didn't eat here I ordered a $8.94 drink, which was okay, a bit pricy but the place did make up for it. We went on a Wednesday and although it was busy it was no where near the crowds on the weekends. The waitress' seem to not know what was going on but the two girls that wanted to take our pictures came to our table faster than we could order."

Seacrets is as good as a bar can get. They have decent drink specials, like $2.50 draft beers on Sundays. I had a "pain in de ass", a frozen drink that is part rum runner and part pina coolada...$6.25. Their food is expensive, but it's also delicious! It's pretty much all outdoors, with sand underfoot. Music all the time.

Well, the venue itself is definitely impressive. It's huge, there is a massive amount of variety among the 19 bars, and it's really cool to be able to have a beer at a table while sitting in the water. It's a place that you go not for the food (it's not very good), not for the beer (there isn't much variety), but because you want to be at the place in Ocean City where everybody goes, people of all ages and all backgrounds. It's a complete tourist trap - but hey, if you're at the point in your life where you want to get piss drunk, dance around to a cover band, and try to get laid... this is totally your place. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Was here on a bachelor party weekend, and when people tell you this is Disney for older people, it kind of works...

There is an insane amount of different bar areas, different music, different drinks, different, everything.  Thousands of people can easily fit into this place and you wouldn't know how crowded it is because there's so much space.  Being here during the day is probably fun as well with the in-water seating and bar.  Obviously the 'place' to be in OC.

As everyone else has mentioned, Seacrets is the go-to place in Ocean City to have a great time. There is not a single person that I know that has gone there and had a bad night. We happened to go Thursday night when Go Go Gadjet was playing. We got there just before 10 (the band came on at 10) and the entire night was amazing.

Everyone was dancing and having a great time; no matter what part of the club we were in, the music was pumping and everyone was having a great time.

Definitely a must visit at least once while you are in Ocean City if you want to experience the night life!

I don't know why I love this place....

Monday through Thursday, they have drink specials (mixed drinks are $5). No cover at the "door". This place is big enough to lose your friends for a few hours.  Its an all sand floor.  No hats, no white tees.  It closes at 2AM (way too early for New Yorkers that are used to just getting to spots at 2AM) but everything closes at 2AM.  The bay is filthy but its loaded with bikini clad women and shirtless douche bags.

OH wait....that's it!  This place is loaded with people that just want to party with no inhibitions.
Hey fat guy! Take off that shirt.
Hey ugly third wheel girlfriend! Have another shot of Petron.

This place is one big party and everyone is invited.  The Go-Go Gadget band was awesome and even the Reggae band had the crowd moving.

If you are looking to dance the night away with a bunch of strangers til 2AM, you have to hit up Seacrets at night.

How to explain Seacrets... How to really capture this.

Imagine you went into a deserted beach town- just a small town. The town has a little concert hall connected to a little bar... no no no

No, that's not it.  Imagine you were on the TV show "Lost" and your only focus after the plane crashed was to make a night club that... no no no

Ok- here we go.  Imagine that you have a vision for the best beach bar in Ocean city.  A place with multiple bars and concert venues.  A place with several bands playing and several DJ's mixing different genres of music.  Then take a frozen drink that'll get everyone hammertimed real quick and serve it for a very reasonable price.  And BLACK LIGHTS EVERYWHERE- make sure there are an s-ton of black lights.  Every blemish and stain shall show!  Have hair on your shirt- you're done-zo!

You won't have a hard time finding Seacrets.  It has it's own radio tower in the parking lot and it's where hundreds of 21+ and hopeful under 21's are stumbling anxiously on Friday and Saturday night.

I had an amazing time. I might have danced my way into a circle of (what seemed) to be professional dancers who were tearing the house down.  I might have stuck with them for an hour. I might have took my skills to the floor showing some doughy-eyed girls how to dance. Thy were looking over with eyes that said "I wish I could dance like that."  I might have watched one of the dancers from my group dance up on of these girls so hard that I said to my new friend Emma,

Me: "She don't know it yet, but that girl is pregnant now"
    Emma: Oh yessir! With Twins!

Then a drunk guy stumbled over and tried to challenge of our dance group and one of my new friends showed him where to put his dance moves as he imitated him and embellished.

This was followed by a girl who believed she was Michael Flatley and tried to a put a hole in the floor.

I just had an amazing time.  Next time - I will be under the balloon and confetti drop!

The staff at this place is completely TERRIBLE. I'm 28 years old with a VALID ID and I have NEVER had such a problem getting into a bar. Reminder - I said I'm twenty eight years old!! They called six "experts" to read my ID and compared it to other NJ licenses and told me mine was fake and wasn't thick enough or had appropriate ultra violet light reflections. After 5 minutes and six people looking at it, I asked for my license back as I wasn't interested in being there anymore. Two individuals began questioning me "if it wasn't fake" why I would want to leave and said he would need to confiscate my fake. To which I obviously said "not without the cops here!" He then began questioning info on my license as well as when I graduated high school college and my zodiac sign. I was on vacation with my boyfriend and we were looking forward to coming here as most reviews were decent. My bf asked if they see a lot of NJ licenses thinking that may be the problem - but they claimed they did. After the seventh "expert" came and advised my ID was in fact legit, I didn't say a word, took it and walked away. Fuck that place!! I wouldn't recommend it!! Def not worth the trouble with all the other bar/clubs in the area!!

Secrets is a cool place with a great idea and an amazing location.  Usually way over-packed but still has a great atmosphere.  Only eat there once and it was ok but this place is for the night life not for the food.  Great amount of bars so you can get a drink basically anywhere, dance club inside is great.  Dont bother talking to any of their security staff most of them cant speak English.  Fun place and if you are looking to go home with someone this is definitely the place to do it.  By the end of the night everyone is trashed but you will meet some great people from all over.  Good place if you want to go crazy and have a fun time with some friends..... night time is not for families.

Went here last summer with our two young boys. The food was really good and since it was lunchtime it really wasn't loud and crazy. Loved the decor, the sandy floor and it looked pretty awesome there there was a floating bar. Something that would be cool to try out minus our little guys!

Went for lunch on 4/24/13 and the waitress could not explain any of the lunch specials so she called another waitress over to explain. When we got our lunch my seacrets sandwich on a kaiser roll had bacon on it that was cold and sort of gray and the tomato slices seemed like they were frozen and thawed so I removed what I didn't like, the kaiser roll was good.  My wife's burger was strange, a slab of meat that was really greasy, big and it had a charcoal bbq smell to it like liquid smoke or something.  When we got our mayo it looked like it sat under a heat lamp, a gelled yellowish mess.  Everything was slow and there were only about 12-16 people in the place.

After all this I just sat in wonder that the waitress did not acknowledge anything I talked about in the above paragraph and also the pile of food left on each plate. I would think a clean plate is good food and a full plate is an issue. I should have complained but I think it was just so intriguing that the waitress didn't have a clue so I let it go. Hence joining YELP.

Have been here both in the summer and winter.  In the summer, sitting with drinks in the bay is an incredible time.  In the winter, the indoor live music is also a good time.  Overall, a great bar with a beachy atmosphere.

I would give this zero stars, if possible. I have been here on two separate occasions; once with friends for the club, and once during the day with my family to eat. I was APPALLED on both occasions.

At night: Trash. There is no other word I can use to more accurately describe it. I will admit I look very young for 22, but my completely real ID has never been questioned before. So after taking verbal abuse from the dip shit bouncers about that, my friends and I hardly lasted an hour or so in here before deciding to leave. Scummy guys and drunk sluts everywhere. Even if you aren't asking for it, someone will come up to you and try to pick you up. I would definitely find a different place if you are looking for somewhere to get really drunk; there are people here who will not hesitate to take advantage of the fact that you're trashed.

During the day: I came with my family for lunch. It was around 11, and we were seated immediately which was nice. All was going well until me niece, who is 10, had to use the bathroom. She got up to leave, and returned shortly later in tears. On her way to the bathroom, she accidentally walked across an area that children are not allowed into (near the bar). A bouncer noticed her and yelled at her to the point where she cried. When we asked to speak to a manager, he brushed us off and told us to leave if we were not happy.

Bottom line: F*** this place. I will never return and I encourage others to do the same. Unless you are into drunken white trash and lounging around in garbage water, stay as far away from Seacrets as humanly possible.

Seacrets is THE best dance club I've ever been too!!
It's like an all you can eat buffet for dancing. Whatever your taste they've got it! You like 80's music, there's a room for that. You like current hits & live performances, there's a room for that. You like beach & reggae, there's a sandy outdoor area for that. And more!

I just wish they could make something like Seacrets in NYC. Maybe over in Redhook or at South Street Seaport. SERIOUSLY, somebody please get on that.

One of the best things about Seacrets is that it's right on the bay, so when you get overheated from dancing, you can walk down to the shore and dip your hot toes into the water for a nice cooling.

**Word of Warning** This place has a lot of overweight, somewhat "redneck" and touristy types. If that bothers you enough that just seeing them makes you annoyed, then you might not want to come here. But if you can still have fun dancing and enjoying the music and great drinks, then you should check it out.

Another thing I really like, when you leave for the night, they hand you a bottle of water.

Spent many many times here over the last 15 years.

Last time I was here, it was early AM and basically harassed for what I was wearing. Sandals, sleeveless shirt, bandana and swimming trunks. I was told no sleeveless and no bandana on my head was allowed. No sleeveless shirt allowed, yet you can walk in with no shirt? Heres your D'bag award.

So, after the onslaught of what I can wear I proceed to the bar and make a comment to the bartender like "man, I'm surprised they let you wear tattoos in here". All the sudden the guy next to me says if you don't like it then leave. I basically tell him to F off. 2 minutes later, bouncers are escorting me out - it was the owner. No sweat off my back, I hate the place anyway.

If you look at the dress code, its obvious the owner is racist anyway. They pollute the water and its just a bunch of grown adults wadding around in water that everyone is taking a leak in and at night its a debacle of creepy old men and young kids who are just looking for a fight.

I'm not a club-goer and I'm not trashy or a drunkard, and I'm not into reggae or remixes or being hit on, but good lord, this place is great!

It's like a maze inside, with lights and water docks and booze and fun.

It's a great spot to dance, drink, hang out (appropriately), listen to horrible music but not give a rats ass, and just enjoy yourself.

If you're too uptight to let loose to some reggae beats or remixes, down a couple blue liquid tube things and drunkingly balance yourself throughout the sandy floor, then don't go. People like me (who want to have a great time and not worry about standards for 5 seconds) don't want people like you there.

But you're just devoiding your lifestyle of some good times with friends.

    And I'll say it...YOLO!

There are two types of people who go to Seacrets:

1-Those that confuse this place with a tropical island getaway or spring break locale and drive hours to get here.

2-Those that are dragged here by the people described above.

Seacrets is the type of bar/club place I can only tolerate once a year. I've been there twice this year so I have already exceeded my quota.

Don't get me wrong, Seacrets is actually an ok place to hang out during the day, a nice place to grab a drink and some grub. Here is a couple of other things seacrets has going for it:

1-Pain in the Ass, a mix of pina colada and a rum runner. By themselves, Rum Runners are too sweet, and the piña colada tastes like sunscreen but the two work together.
2- A menu with pretty good seafood options(I was pleased with the fish tacos here although they look like fish burritos).
3-It's got palm trees and a disneyland sized parking lots. It almost doesn't look like you're in Ocean City.
4-It has submerged tables and floaty things to lay on. Basically it is an adult playground.

But it's not all fun in the sun, here are some things that are dramatically wrong with this place:

1-You're not on the beach, you're in the Isle of Wright Bay.  If you could see through the murky water, you there would be tons cigarette butts and cups below you. If you could actually see in the water, you would know that a good 30-40% of the people there are actually peeing and drinking at the same time.

2-There are numerous middle aged creepy (like pedobear approved kinda creepy) guys that are not shy about staring.

3-At night, this place becomes a whole different scene. They even bring out the TSA style metal detectors because of it.  The dress code gets stricter for men, meanwhile any women in a bikini can just walk right in.

4-I don't know the exact statistics but I believe one out of every three girls gets dance raped here. You and your girlfriends can dance in a circle all you want, thinking you can see exactly who approaches from behind, but these creeps are stealth and before you know it  someone will grab you, take you into a corner and try to grind/jack hammer against you without your consent. I saw this happen to a friend, and it kinda looked like a great Dane trying to hump a chihuahua. Gentleman, there are not enough roofies, alcohol or Axe body spray in the world to make a woman want that. Stop it.

5-It's a meat market here and every  Jersey Shore/douchebag/military stereotype is represented. They all act like its spring break in Cancun and really push the limits ( I saw one too many guys try to reach up a strangers skirt). For this reason, no matter how many friends you are out with, I would completely advise against getting really drunk here. I know I sound like your mom.

6- There are several  areas to congregate here at night, none of them were that appealing. The outdoor courtyard, plays reggae and dancehall. I would hang out here more if it didn't smell like armpit funk. In the hot hot summer heat it's almost unbearable. There is the nightclub lower level where there is usually a cover band (which will most likely suck) and the upper level has a small dancefloor with DJ.

7-The place closes at 2am, and there were absolutely no taxis at the taxi stand at all at that time and a little before closing. Being that taxis can't pick up on the main road, your best bet is to call ahead.

If you my review did not scare you or if you don't get molested or harassed enough in your every day life and you would like to pay a cover then by all means go to Seacrets at night. If you're curious and have never been, I say go to Seacrets just once, even just for the people watching.  Meanwhile, I will just hold off till next year for my one obligatory trip.

    Where do I even begin.

Now that may seem like an exaggeration. But really, Seacrets is the most low-maintenance, user-friendly place to go to have a good time. Especially in OC, not sure why you would waste your time anywhere else. Here are some things you need to know:

It's a restaurant. They serve food. Actually really good food. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have a food stand serving pizza and pretzels throughout the day and night in case you get a quick case of the munchies. If you want to be seated for lunch or dinner, you'll probably have to wait around 20-45 minutes for a table. But it's worth it.

It's a beach bar. ($5 cover) This means everyone is likely in their bathing suits, so you can be too. It also means everyone is wasted. But fun wasted! The security here does not mess around. If you're acting a fool you will get kicked out.

It's a nightclub. ($10 cover) The line during the day is nothing compared to the lines here at night. But I promise you it's worth the wait. Just try and get there at a decent time. Fellas, you need to wear real shirts. They won't let you in if you have on a white tee. Ladies, glam it up.

It's a hotel. Weird right? But you can actually rent one of their 18 condo units and stay  on the same block as Seacrets. Their rates are comparable to nearby hotels and require min-3-night stays. They are condos so you have to take out your own trash. But you'll have a nice kitchen and washer-dryer unit. Also you get free no line no cover access to Seacrets during your entire trip.

Drinks and food are pricey but very good. Try the dirty banana with a vanilla vodka floater!

Stay away from the crab dip. Seemed to consist of mainly cream cheese without much other ingredients. The burger was surprisingly good.

Service was excellent but the photo girls were pretty annoying. Probably got asked 7x in 1 hour if we wanted our picture taken.

Either way, this place is a must-see when in OC
