Excellent food and quality service. The arroz con pollo is my favorite dish - I find it very tempting to order it every time and I have to force myself to try something new. When I do, though, I am equally impressed. Try sitting at the bar on night later in the week - its a lively environment with festive music.
Review Source:This place was unusual. Â When we arrived we were seated next to a couple with small children who were having an emotional breakdown. Â Since it was totally empty we thought it was strange but the family was on their way out so we stayed put. Â Then a guy came over and we haven't even cracked open the menus. Â So he went away and we didn't see him again. Â After some time another guy came over and said he was our server. Â We put in our full order and waited. Â I don't mind waiting long enough so that you know it was made fresh but we waited just for our mojitos and bread. Â The cocktails were just ok. Â The plantain nachos were great! Â Worth the wait. Â The we got our mains. Â My bf had the roast pork and he loved it. Â But the beans and rice on the side were mixed together and it wasn't enough beans. Â So he borrowed some of mine. Â I got the veg tamal which was not a winner. Â It was just kind of boring and not served in the husk or leaf that it was cooked in. Â
Then there was another long wait for the check so we didn't have time for dessert. Â I left cash so we didn't have to wait for credit card receipts.
The weird service and hit or miss food.
