Skrine Chops

They have an Amazing Pork Tenderloin SaMich with Mash Potatoes on Top.  The tenderloin is super tender and seasoned just right.  The Mash Potatoes are awesome.

With that being said, the price is ridiculously high at $10 with no sides or drink.  If you want a drink it's gonna cost you $11.50.

I will probably visit here once in a blue moon, but I can't justify eating here on a regular basis.

Another place in close proximity to my place of employment, and I believe home to the best dish: the Skribeye.  That's Skribeye, it's a piece of steak on a bun with their famous bleu cheese mashed potatoes.  On more than one occasion I've ordered the Skrine Chop, a vastly inferior pork chop sandwich, thinking that since it's the restaurants name sake, it must also be their best item.  That was and is an incorrect assumption.

They also make a chicken salad that is excellent and, unlike most other salads in the area, contains an actual variety of vegetables (and not just iceberg lettuce).

The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, specifically the steak one, but it's ridiculously expensive (I think $7) for what you get, so I usually settle for the pork one at $4.

Fun sidenote: I'm pretty sure a direct relative of Patton Oswalt owns this place, since I've heard both him and David Cross mention the place at local stand-up shows.

I was craving BBQ and found this place. It's definitely legit. Following is what I had:

1/2 rack of baby back and mash potato.

The sauce is the best part as it's sweet but not overwhelming. The meat is nice a juicy. Wished i got the full rack.

Warning: If you have meetings in the afternoon, you may want to avoid this place as you'll definitely get a food coma. :)
