Been living in white plains for years and never stepped foot in the sports page because I assumed the worst; that it was a local lame sports bar... I am happy to admit I was wrong. Â
The wings were amazing. Â Just the best I've had in forever. Â Yes, they were pricy, but worth every penny. Â The food otherwise is very good and the atmosphere really is pleasant especially to watch a game. Â I'll be back, for sure.
Standard and consistent. Â Have been going to Sports Page for 14 years between the new and old location. Â Spicy Peanut wings are great, rest of the food is slightly above average, definitely cuts it for a sports bar. Â Great environment for watching sports and relaxing. Â Service is always good. Â The girls here are real trashy, think about it, what kind of girls hang out at a sports bar?
Review Source:went for the first time after people recommending the spicy peanut wings! WOW they are so addicting. Can't wait to go back. The mozzarella sticks were also great. The marinara sauce tasted fresh didn't taste like the canned sauce. It's a nice looking sports bar, good ambience, great service. The only thing is that they could have a better beer selection
Review Source:NEVER EVER will I step foot into this establishment.
There is no need to be rude on the phone.
I called to see if they were having the Cotto vs Mayweather boxing fight... and what did I get???
I barely asked my question when the woman on the phone said "No, we're not... thanks for checking" and then just hung up.
If that's how they treat someone on the phone I would hate to see how they treat patrons in person.
What a great place to watch the Football Playoffs. This is a GIANTS fan true place. Good par food and the energy on game day is undeniable. You can make reservations at tables on the right/ left and everyone has a great TV view. Awesome sports bar!! Thanks for making the end of football season so much fun.
Review Source:I used to go all the time to their Rosedale ave. location but I have been to the new location a few times and I have to say its pretty good. Its pretty straight up food: burgers, wings, pastas and steak so you really can't go wrong with the basics. Everything is delicious and usually cooked to perfection but when it's not they are very good about fixing it! The only downside is the location and the atmosphere. I've been here wi larger family groups and I find it can sometimes be too much of an older atmosphere towards the bar.
Review Source:My family dined here regularly back in the 90s when the restaurant was located near Rosdale Ave. and always had good meals there. Â After taking a long break, we found our way back to the "new" location and dined there on a few recent occasions. Â I am happy to report the food is still very good, with attentive wait service and overall good value. Â We particularly enjoyed the buffalo wings, as good as any around including BWW. Â You really cannot go wrong with any of the burgers and sandwiches on the menu. Â We also tried out the bbq menu items and particularly liked the chicken (cajun style) and ribs.
The local sports memorabilia adds to its charm. Â With so many overpriced trendy restaurants and the hit-or-miss national chains crowding the city center, it is real nice to see an old standby stay on their game. Â Add in free parking and you have a real winner here!
Great place to catch a game, they have lots of TV's with various sporting events on them. Â It is your prototypical sports bar with pretty nice memorabilia throughout. Â It is a huge place with different room, Â I often see parties go on there too. Â
The best part of the entire experience are the SPICY PEANUT WINGS! Â These wings are AWESOME. Â I cannot go there without having some, they are addicting and will haunt your dreams. Â Give them a try, you will not be dissapointed.
The one word that comes to mind when I think of the Sports Page is typical... It is a typical sports bar with a ton of tv's typical bar food & beverage and a typical sports bar atmosphere. Â I some times go there on sunday's due to the fact it is across the street from a great dim sum place that my friends and I go to for lunch. Â It isn't anything special but not a terrible place.
Review Source:This is one of my favorite sports bars in Westchester. Â It is owned by a former NY Giant, so it considered a great Giants bar on game day. Â Regardless, the crowds for all big events is always nuts and lively. Â They have something like 50+ TV's so you can always see the game. Â They also make some of the best buffalo wings, THE SPICY PEANUT WINGS! Â Other good is solid pub food too, never had a bad experience here, so I will continue to visit and enjoy!
Review Source:My reviews are always short and sweet and Sports page is no different:
If there's a game to be seen, watch it here. I was there with a few fellas for Yankee opening day and the place was mobbed. Plus, 2 TV stations had cameras set up and a newspaper reporter was walking around taking quotes. Add to the fact that the Guinness was poured correctly, the wings were dynamite (my boys & I agreed - better than the Candelight) and the staff was very attentive. The parking lot is huge and well lit. I also had a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado, bacon, L/T/M & fries - served open faced, hot & the chicken was cooked perfectly. TV's everywhere, Yankee & Mets tickets given away as freebies (our waitress said they give tickets away all the time). How could you think of going anywhere else to enjoy the game??
Three words...
Spicy
Peanut
Wings
I was introduced to these and immediately became angry with the person who brought me there because I felt that he was holding out on me since he had been going there for at least a year before taking me for these amazing wings. Â (Holy run on sentence. Â Please see my line.)
The wings are fried dry (in a good way) and crispy. Â The sauce is a little spicy a little sweet and savory from the peanut. Â It is just a nice thin coating of sauce so it is not overwhelming. Â These wings are simply perfect. Â Also, no blue cheese sauce necessary. Â In fact don't do it - it's a weird combo. Â Save the blue cheese for the celery and carrots.
Now, the Sports Page has recently updated the menu. Â It is very hard for me to deviate from something that I know is a sure thing. Â But I must go back and try the new flavors of wings. Â I have found that regular buffalo wings here are sub par. Â Things with melted cheese - I find the cheese doesn't melt normally. Â Very goopy. Â
Bottom line don't deviate. Â Go for the wings. Â I will be back for those spicy peanut wings, always. Â But there are a couple other new flavors that are intriguing.
I went with the Supper Club to Sports Page Pub outside the White Plains Mall during one rainy Tuesday evening. Â Once the whole group came, we all sat down on the table to watch the Winter Olympics, while I was listening to my music. Â When the waitress came, Â I ordered a hamburger with fries in them, I think. Â The rest ordered anything else, one meal for each person.
The upside is that the waitstaff were nice and of great help. Â I remember one time when all of my folks from Supper Club left and I had difficulty finding my father, who was waiting for me at the street, at the rest of the mall. Â I was left waiting until the waitress helped me find my father through her cellphone. Â I thanked the waitress upon reuniting with my father.
The downside is that there were a limited variety of meals to choose from, but the meals were good anyways and were perfect for a night watching the game. Â Plus, there were no mention of the desserts in the menu and yet they were available. Â You just got to ask the waitstaff for dessert.
Despite some flaws, the service is great and the atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing for the sports fans like myself.
Sports Page has a good large space with plenty of TVs to watch the game. My girlfriend and I eat dinner here all the time and the food is always great. I have sampled quite a few items on the menu but I usually get the cheese steak or the fish n chips. One downside is that you have to pay $5 if you want to park in the lot but there is metered parking on the street.
Review Source:nice  place 2  see     football games on sunday not as big and comfy as Â
old place but in white plains not a ghost town   malls near by  food and service ok waitress are pretty but sometimes disappear to chat with co workers  bartenders are cool  plenty of barely average or below average looking girls who have no clue about football but come to attract guys who are paying more attention 2 games  instead of them and the money that they gamble away  but any way i like this place and been coming for years and will still
I have been in here a couple of times during the past few years and I like the place. They have many TVs showing various sporting events, and the obligatory sports memorabilia on the walls. I went there a month or two ago after having dinner with my girl at Bao's in the mall. Everyone was friendly and we were chatting up a storm with numerous people. It was a great time. The food if I remember correctly was good. I don't know if they have any kinda specials for each day. This is a good place and if you are looking to watch any NY sport game this is the place to come in White Plains. Myself being a Mets fan, I know when they inevitably disappoint me this season I'll have a couple of shoulders to cry on there.
Review Source:From the outside it looks kinda skanky so I was very sceptical when leaving the Westchester Mall one day my boyfriend decided we should eat there. I was very surprised when I walked in to see a nice specious restaurant with big booths and a large menu. From a night of shopping of course I was starving. I had a great dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the place! You have to pay to park in the lot which is kinda stupid, but hey, they had really good honey mustard! =)
Review Source:Ducked in here for a quick lunch before catching a train, and I wasn't expecting much. Â Suburban sports bars suck almost without exception, but this place was pretty agreeable. Â We were seated promptly, and there are toys, books, and even a little video screen for kids, and little seats and tables their size. My 1 yr old had a great time, and the wait staff was quite attentive and made sure she was happy. Â The food was so-so, pretty average bar food. Â The beer selection was pretty pedestrian, but I've been spoiled by the Lazy Boy. Â I wouldn't object to going back, but it's far from a 'destination'.
