Been going to Stadium Cafe for several years now. It is a nice quiet bar to hang out with friends and has several big screens to watch sports.  Monday evenings feature the $2 half pound burger and fries which is a great deal. They also have a small buffet in the evening that features pizza, tacos and other small bites. The best deal is on Wednesdays before 10pm where the entire menu is half off. You can't beat $4.25 shrimp cocktail. The drinks are reasonably priced and are very good. Highly recommended.

Chill spot if you can get past all the regulars.... Got kicked out of my chair once for a regular who goes there all the time... Found that very odd.... Other than that, service is always great, drinks are poured well and aren't very expensive!  And on Mondays... $2 hamburgers that are actually really good!!! Yeah I love that!

This is one of the smokiest bars I've been too.  At times it feels like you climbed right into a smokers' car.

The atmosphere and food are typical bar with friendly waitresses.  If I was a smoker this place would be heaven.

Not a place for lunch.  Smoky and more of a bar atmosphere.  However I got the Italian sandwich and it was better than
    Most bar foods.

I would rate this place 4 stars if it didn't wreak of stale smoke.

I love local joints where regulars often visit the bar, and they know you by name.  We drove by this place during our lunch hour and decided to give it a try.  It's a cute little bar, and you can tell that this place is great for hanging out and having a few drinks.  They have a huge menu with a variety of food ranging from wings, burgers, chicken sandwiches to several salad options and soups as well.  I ordered the beef taco salad and asked for the dressing on the side, it was surprisingly really good and the mixed greens seemed really fresh.  A friend of mine ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries, and he said it was really good.  I had to try a fry, and it was good.  This place is very homely, and it seems like a place for an older crowd.

It was chance that I ended up here while I was visiting my cousin. Didn't realize smoking bars still existed, but apparently they do in this suburb(?) of Dallas. We basically just sat there and drank, smoked, and played poker/trivia for about 7 hours...Really liked this place and if I ever make it back up that way, I will definitely stop in again!

Smoking bar, but not unbearable.  Heads up bartenders that has most everyones drink ready before they ask.  Mostly regulars, even an out of towner with a beard, mullet, and left ear gold small hoop earring.  Dark inside except for the neon signs, tvs, and games (what is it with the games in dallas??).  Elevated wood bar with a small roughed up rail and 12 or so stools.  Bartop is wood, but has about a 1/4" of poly on it, brass foot rail.  Bar back has shelves and hdtvs to either side, but a nice brick middle with a mirror and stadium cafe stained glass sign.  Behind the bar stools is an island with about 8 stools that overlooks the seating area.   Several lower eating tables and booths.  Not a dive, definitely more local/neighborhood.  Friendly, local vibe that can take or leave a visitor.  Most congregate at the bar.
    Congregate at the bar

I've only been here once, but it was an "ok" experience!  I'll have to spend a little more time here to give a full review..I do remember that it didnt have the traditional Addison crowd!

Great neighborhood sports bar in Addison. Bartenders are always attentive and easy going. Perfect spot to watch the game.  Stout drinks and awesome food. I recommend Monday's for $2 burgers and pints or Wednesday's 1/2 menu night. Can't beat it!

This is a very laid back TRUE bar- casual and smokey-the have karaoke and the people that hang here are pretty relaxed and friendly. Depending on what your looking for- this is not a "party" like place-but more of a kick back place.

This is a bit of a dive bar, not very big but somehow manages to get plenty of tables in a small area. I thought the food was good. I was surprised to find the queso better than most of the Mexican restaurants around here. Thumbs up to the staff as I've always been pleased with the service.  As for the drinks, this is where I give only 1 maybe 2 stars.  I want more than a splash of coke in my Jack Daniels, otherwise I wouldn't have asked for a jack and coke.  This is my biggest complaint, then again I'm spoiled with excellently poured drinks at a couple of my watering holes.   This is a smoking establishment with poor ventilation, so be prepared to stink like an ash tray.  It's an ok place and I don't mind stopping in here every once and awhile, but there are several other places I prefer to Stadium. All in all it's not a bad place if you are ok with the smoke.

Fun place to go watch a game, have a few beers and some wings. Very reasonable drink prices and they usually have good specials each night of the week. Atmosphere can get really entertaining on NFL Sundays or Monday nights because fans of teams from all over the country (Bills, Raiders, Colts, Lions...to name a few) come to watch their teams and are usually quite vocal. My only complaint is how smoky it gets, since smoking is allowed, but I've found I can deal with it as long as I'm not sitting next to/in close proximity to someone puffing away. Try the buffalo wings, probably the best thing on the menu.

This favorite haunt is good when it comes to it's standard burger.  The weekly burger special the best in town for this bar food choice.

They have expanded thier burger to another level with a " breakfast burger".  This curious and tastey burger treat is so unexpected.  Grilled beef patty with egg, bacon, and potatoes! fixed and topped anyway you'd like.

Outside the box but includes tradition.

Great bar, never have to wait for a drink, and the bartenders are always quick with the shots! Great place to catch an NFL game for Sunday Funday! I think they have a special late night menu that's pretty cheap as well. Ask for Nick when you go,  he'll take great care of you. Love!

Fun bar with a good atmosphere.  Smoking is allowed but cigarettes only, not cigars, which I thought was a little strange.  Wait staff is friendly, if not a bit rough around the edges.

I discovered this bar with friends during the NFL divisional playoffs and watched the Jets with dozens of Jets fans from NYC.... it felt like I was home.

Whatever you do, you have to get the potato salad.  I repeat, get the potato salad.  Best effing potato salad I've had in the Dallas area so far.

Great sports bar and they allow smoking it that is your thing.  This is not family friendly and I believe the acknowledgement from the staff and others allows the customers to feel a little relaxed.  I play trivia there and love the big screens.  I rarely eat there, but if I really want some good wings they cannot be beat.  Try their drums breaded and dry an you will feel that your mother made them.  The drink prices are decent and the staff is always friendly.  Owners are there regularly, so if you have a question or problem it will be addressed.

Overall this is one of my favorite bars in the Dallas area for anyone that wants to sit back relax and have a drag.

Small sports/dive bar. Since we live in TX its hard to sometimes find a bar that will show our college (go Wildcats!) football games. After some research the manpiece did, we found Stadium Cafe.

Upon arrival we noticed its a lot smaller on the inside than it looks. However, plenty of tables and comfy booths. All within excellent TV viewing. We pull two tables together in front of this big TV, and go ask the manager if he would put on the Arizona/USC game, he was so nice and not only put our game on, but put it on one of their big TVs. Sweet. Our waitress was very friendly and when I told her I just couldn't get warm she brought me the most delicious Irish coffee and 10 minutes later I was schvitizing. Halfway through our game, we all ordered food. Their menu is totally random, from burgers to spaghetti to taco salads and drumoll please.....a shrimp po boy. Ha. The food is eh, alright. Everyone seemed to be satisfied. They also had some vegetarian friendly foods too. Lots of TV's and lots of games on. I believe it's also the official Clemson watching hangout site. Just FYI. Yea, that was fun. *cough* not *cough*

I would go back fo sho, fun divey sports bar. Also, just FYI.  Smoking is allowed inside so for those of you who hate smoke, don't go here. Definitely not a Saturday night party spot but as long as you are there for sports, decent food and drinks its a definite win!

I visit the place frequently on Mondays. They have 2 dollar half pound burgers and fries and 2 dollar drafts. Its a great place to meet with friends and kick back a few after a long day. They have huge big screens that play all of the top sports games and the service there is always good.

If your tired of all of the chain restaurants I would highly recommend that you try this little place. Its got great character, atmosphere, and happy hour.

I was looking for a cheap dive bar for a couple of friends & I to go to on a Saturday afternoon.  And I hit the jackpot!  They had Shock Top on draft...which is a major plus in my book since it is one of my favorite beers.  I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwhich...and I have to say it was quite tasty!  The chicken parm sanwhich was also good.  THe service was fast and friendly.  They have 2 giant screens where the game was playing, and several smaller tvs where other sporting events were being aired.  If you want to go somewhere to watch the game, have a nice, cold beer & good food, hit up Stadium Cafe.

Don't come to this place if you have super-high expectations and you like to complain. You walk in and yeah it may be kinda smoky, the TVs may be a liiittle too loud, there may be some loud drunk peeps. So there may be some bitching, but I never hesitate to watch sports and get some bar grub here.

Wonderful, wonderful wait staff and bartenders with good service. Huge ass TVs all over make this place a great spot for the games. The food may not be amazing and gourmet, but you can go to Chammps Americana or BJs if you're going to be that picky. It's just straight up good bar food. They make their potato chips homemade and they are very, very tasty. Much bigger and potatoier than anything you've had. It will make you wonder why every restaurant doesn't make 'em themselves. They also have pretty awesome daily specials. Most recently they had an all day special of fried pork chop, mashed potatoes, veggies, and a roll for $4.95. But wait, it gets better...

Mondays from 5-10 $2 half-pound burger and fries. Wednesday half off EVERYTHING. M-F 5-7 they always have an appetizer for FREE. Now are you convinced?

Interesting mixed reviews on this place.  We thought it was  a good option for us in the neighborhood, considering the close proximity to our crib. We wandered here our first time tonight, to check out somewhere different in the Addison strip, just craving some "munchies" and a libation (or two) , not a really full meal. (Located on the Southwest corner of Beltline & Landmark, in a strip center)

    Our experience was rather nice.

    Great prompt service
Reasonably priced - drinks & food
Atmosphere- comfy, casual and relaxing, not too smokey on this visit

We sat in a cozy booth along the window. Bar area was full, and all the  tables on the lower level floor were fairly occupied, but not packed.  Looked liked lots of folks visiting, chatting and having a good time. Several flat screen t.v.'s, buzz time trivia, etc.  Nice atmosphere. An okay place to just hang out, recap the day, and feel comfortable.

We ordered the Ultimate Nachos to share, with the Chicken, which was surprisingly moist, shredded and flavorful, with sour cream, guac (a small dollop) and lots of lettuce, cheese and pico. Not bad for bar food. And a pretty large portion. We could not finish it. But, just bar food. Drinks were priced reasonably, draft beer at $2.50, house Merlot @ $4.00. Prices were just  okay and acceptable.

It's definitely a place for "regulars", where the servers knew everyone, but treated us newbies just fine. All and all, experience was pretty decent, and yes, we'll probably go back. The menu is extensive for bar food; apps, salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, etc. Some I think I would like to give a try !!!

We left stating it was a good experience, so close to home. And, that makes a do over again real soon !!!

I'm really not a fan of this bar.  We have eaten here several times and the food is always terrible.  They do have a ton of tvs and there is Buzztime trivia, but don't come here hungry and expect decent food.

The happy hour specials are pretty good though, so it might be okay for a quick drink.

This place is a simple dive bar, I ended up watching Obama's victory speech here on Election Night (long story). They had several TVs, cheap drinks, and they were more than friendly. I could come back here for sure. It is what it is, a divey, sports bar. Ignore the other dopey reviewer, they clearly aren't familiar with the idea that you can smoke in Addison bars still. This bar is just fine.

I'd give them 3 stars normally but for having all of the TVs on the Election WITH SOUND for the Obama speech, I give them an extra star. None of Addison has sound on for the election. What the hell? Why would you blow off such a historic event?
