Great Tamales. The service is friendly and generous. I planned on a tamale for lunch but today they were out of everything but spinach. I was a bit disappointed in the selection even though I was a little late to lunch time. The Tamale guy was great! He had two spinach tamales left and offered them to me free of charge! He told me to come back on Tuesday when there would be more to offer. Now that is what I call customer service! Plus the spinach are really tasty. I will definitely  be going back for more.
Review Source:Stopped off somewhere to look at a yard sale then saw the truck, made a beeline to the truck...
Me: Tamale, Tamale, TAMALE!!!
Truck Guy: You slow or something, boy?
Me: Tamale?! (Face turns into a frown)
These aren't you normal Tamales... This tamale truck has a different take on the traditional Mexican snack or aka one of Nick's favorite things to eat. TF tamales are made by swirling the fillings together with the masa (dough) and incorporating a sweeter flavor. They get interesting I will give them that. I went with the Spinach Malè  - Spinach, Spices and Queso Fresco combined with our Lard  Free Masa. It wasn't bad and it got better with hot sauce but I can't say that I would eat a few like I normally could. Then there are equally strange desserts such as cupcakes filled with pepperoni pizza, ham 'n cheese, mac n' cheese, Canadian bacon 'n pineapple, and finally a Nutella banana cupcake (which is the only one that makes sense). What hurt the worst (other then the not so nice truck guy) was $6 for this tiny tamale = wrong.
