I was apartment-bound due to shoulder surgery, so decided to get food delivered from El Ranchito. After one hr elapsed and no food delivered, the delivery driver called. He was trying to deliver in CHICAGO, even though the delivery address was OAK PARK. Food was finally delivered over 1.5 hrs after I ordered. It was cold. But hey, that's what microwaves are for.

Unfortunately, hot or cold, the quality of the food was poor. I ordered 7 items; only 2 were edible, and graded a C-. The Ceviche De Canaron was one: The other was Flan, which tasted as if it had been frozen first, and as Rosemary said in Rosemary's Baby when served the mousse, "there is a chalky under-taste."

These following menu items were placed in the garbage after one bite:

Carne Camarones - the meat in this dish tasted like road kill and required a super- sharp knife to cut.

Guacamole - how can you mess up this simple dish? It was simply awful with added tasteless cheese.

Tamales - straw-dry and tasteless.

Salsa - more like taco sauce

Chips - dry and stale

Out of $50.65 worth of food, tax, delivery charge, and tip, only $17.00 of food could be eaten (actually they are still in fridge and may also be tossed). A waste of time, money, and food...

I ordered a burrito dinner from here at 2:40 pm......it is now 5:33pm as I am writing this. I would love to tell you how the food tastes, but it HASN'T arrived. Three hours? Really? Really?! So now I am stuck at work hungry. Thanks Ranchito

Amazing. We ordered lunch to be delivered at the office and it took them 90 minutes to deliver. When the food finally arrived, we were missing a dinner. We called them and they said the missing dinner would be sent right away but 30 minutes later, nobody had shown up. We had to call repeatedly before we finally got the last dinner delivered 2 1/2 hours after it was originally ordered - COLD and tossed around in its container. Don't wast your time with this place. Absolutely awful.

2 hr delivery time.
Rotten Guacamole&soggy chips.
Cold Burritos suizas.
Horchatas tasted funny- like they burnt the rice.
They forgot the flan.
I don't like to write bad reviews but really you want to avoid this place!

dollar margarita thursdays. foods not that great, but it's pretty cheap. that craving you get for greasy mexican food will get satisfied, so what's really to complain about. All in all people need to understand that mexican food in chicago on a large scale is going to suck, you need to judge it with the proper handicaps in place, with that being said this place is a solid 4/5. Dollar margarita thursdays, i'm serious here.

They have a Saturday buffet that include drink (cola, iced tea) for $8.95. They also have an excellent margarita. Spanish juke box which was fun. It looks like it set up for dancing in the evenings.

The food was tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. Reasonably priced. Easy walk from Logan Square station.

Why do people order off Grubhub without looking at yelp first?

Moreover, why do you order Mexican food for delivery? If you live in Logan Square, you can't be more than 4 blocks from a taco joint. You enjoy paying that delivery fee, and tipping the driver? Why not just light the money on fire and try to eat the flames? Maybe I'm the only one who thinks so, but about the only good thing you can get delivered it Asian food or pizza. Everything else, in my experience, either slides around in the container too much (like tacos and beans!) or it just doesn't taste right, having spent 10-15 min in a car before it gets to you.

I say this only b/c I've never ordered from these guys for delivery, and I've had nothing but positive experiences. ONE time, my order was a little off, and the chips were stale. It wasn't 100% what I ordered (taco dinner, al pastor, onions, cilantro, and cheese), but it was still good (taco dinner, al pastor, lettuce, tomato, cheese).

I've had the majority of their menu (Mexican at least, who goes to a Mexican joint and gets Italian food?), and it's always been good, and it's almost always cheaper than most other neighborhood places.

Perhaps I'd have a different opinion if I had gotten it delivered, but I'm a cheapass who likes to ride bike and hates to pay delivery fees. Call me crazy.

I love this place.

COME IN FOR FOOD, DO NOT GET IT DELIVERED.

Either cut your fucking hours or don't bother doing late night delivery at all. You can't meet Grubhub's delivery estimate and you're always late. Your drivers ruin the food before it gets delivered and your drivers always forget items. I have a nice BIG FAT 1 star to you on grub hub so I can avoid ordering from you! Nevertheless, my fiance orders from you by accident and I have to reprimand her each time she does.

You know what. I'll create a website to prevent others ordering from shit restaurants like yours. Let's call it http://onestarhorror.com

In wanting to try a new place, the BF and I ordered from here and it was delivered in a timely fashion (shocking, apparently considering the reviews...). Food was ok, standard fare, until my guy got about halfway through his burrito with cheese melted on top and found a LONG black hair in it. Rolled in the burrito.

Needless to say, that was the end of the meal. Disgusting.

Never again. I ordered from here around 1:00 pm last week and my food did not arrive until 2:40 pm . . .

The food was mediocre, the steak in the steak tacos was try and looked

I called at 2:00 to check on the order, the said it would be there in 10 minutes. Called at 2:20 said it would be there in 5 minutes, wasn't even hungry anymore and it was delievered at 2:40 . . . .

Thats a lot of hassle for crappy food if you ask me . . . .

Heard it was good, then ordered and looked on yelp......wow people, now I'm fucking scared!! Waiting for the food now...

We walked in and ordered, while we waited we ordered coronas at the counter and heard the loud ass music. I was very apprehensive after reading all he bad reviews! but the reviews seem to complain about service rather than food.

food was actually very good, ordered the burrito dinner suizo with tostada ceviche. be prepared to wait for the food, but it was good.

Despite all the negative review on here I figured I'll give it a shot. since I live near by I place an order for pickup and when i got there a guy told me to go to the register to pickup my order. There was two waitress working on that slow night and I was completely ignored waiting there. No one cared to ask me or greet me as they walk pass by me trying to get their attention. I might as well been in there myself.

I've been to countless restaurants in Chicago because I like trying different places out expensive or cheap. But this has to be the WORST service i ever received from a restaurant. Listen to the reviews on here and stay away from this place....

Food is cheap, and if you order online, you get a discount.

BUT......there's always a but.

we called for delivery around 7:15-7:30. The food didn't arrive until after 9:00pm. Over a hour and a half wait, this sucks when you are starving. To add insult to injury, we ordered guac and it wasn't in our order. I can think of much better ways of throwing away $5 dollars. Food is super greasy. I ordered the grilled chicken that was pretty good and the only thing I remotely enjoyed. Wouldn't ever come back here again, there's are much better mexican restaurants that I would go to first before ever coming back here again.

Okay.

This is THE place to order that comfort crap food at 4 in the morning after your drunk as hell, and desperately need a break from Chicago Pizza. You know, like when your in a 7-11 borderline "spinning," and your convinced that 2 dollar processed burrito in the fridge is the perfect meal; and it is. The type of meal that just goes hand in hand after a night of consuming too much alcohol.

I'll tell ya what to get from here. The super nachos with chorizo.

1.) They really can't screw up chorizo; it's pre-bought standard stuff they merely have to heat up, not trim or cook at all.

2.) It's not greasy and no gristle.

3.) Standard fare tomatos, mexican cheese, beans, onions, sour cream, fresh guacamole, and jalapenos all dumped on stale chips in a styrofoam container.

3.) No delivery minimum. You can get those nachos delivered for 8 bucks at 4 in the morning.

I mean... I'm honestly scared to get anything else. Their menu has PICTURES of a lot of the dishes and um... they look scary honestly. Plus I tend to believe the food has got to be crap with that many negative reports. This place would NEVER be my first choice by any stretch; but after Dona Naty's closes I'm not severely bummed to order the nachos from here.

I really wanted to love this place as I found it on Grub Hub as one of the only places that didn't charge a minimum delivery fee.. alas... that's why they say something things are too good to be true.

The delivery of a burrito and a tostada took 1.5 HOURS. Maybe they had to grow the beans in the back alley.

The tostada was OK, but the burrito was not. I did order extra cheese, but they made it pretty disgusting with how they made it. Plus the ingredients were not spread around the burrito evenly. If you put all the avocado at the bottom, practically no beans... I just don't know how it's ever going to be good.

I signed up to Yelp solely to warn people of this place. Called at 1:15 to order a chimichanga, some guac, and one of them fancy authentico sammies called a torta. Quoted as 2:15, called at 2:30 to check.

"All our drivers are out. It'll be there in five minutes."

Call back at 2:45.

"...yea, ten minutes."

Call back at 2:55 to cancel.

"NO! It should be there soon! TRUST US!"

I cancel the order, and the delivery driver calls outside my door. "HEY, I'm HERE. I'll give it to you for 5 bucks off." He assures me that 'sure, it should still be warm', and I say no dice. He tells me to never order from their restaurant again. Yea, I'm sure the food is worth it.

Waited 2 hours for food after being quoted 45 minutes. Everything had settled to room temperature, the horchata was not properly packaged and spilled, soaking through half of my torta, which did not have anything on it that was listed in the description. The soaked part was inedible, and the unsoaked part was literally egg and bread. No lettuce, tomato or guacamole.

Don't do it, no matter how hungry you are.

Need a quick fix of Mexican food? Then walk on bye El Ranchito! The prices may be low but the cost on your ears is high, and your time great...not to mention your stomach.

For some reason they feel the need to blast music, be it Lady Gaga or Mariachi at 130 decibels to an empty restaurant. At least with an empty restaurant though your service will be quick, right? Nope! Pencil in half an hour to get your bill, being blasted by the music the whole time. Awesome. And the food, while plentiful, is completely average.

On the plus side...it's cheap...

When you're looking for great mexican food - is this the place to go? Absolutely not.

When you're looking for cheap mexican food, you're hungover and you need it in a hurry - is this the place to go? Absolutely.

Thing of it is, the food really isn't that great. You do however get large portions of this not so great food and you get these large portions in a good amount of time. I'm sure picking it up would be faster but as previously mentioned I only order their food while hungover. The last thing I want to do in that state is hop in a car - I'll leave that to them.

If you don't care what you're eating I guess it does the trick. Their french toast is a frightening yellowy orange color and I'm pretty sure they don't use real eggs, but if you can get beyond that then you might have a nice meal. I tend to stick to their burritos that are somewhat bland but come with a variety of options from vegetarian to tongue (haven't tried it -not sure I want to). Anyway they're large, cheap, and cheesy.

All the cry babies who wrote about this place crack me up. The menu is funny. I have no intention of ordering Italian pasta or a burrito for delivery at 1 am. It's a Taqueria not an investment banker's pet project brunch spot! Just look up Taqueria in the dictionary.

Bonus: They have a Pizza oven and will deliver until 2 am on a Wednesday. Since most places close about 11 or 11:30 if you want to order a pizza at midnight this is one of the few places in Logan Square/Avondale where you can get one. The 18 inch pizza came in about 30 minutes, and was gigantic and what we expected (one topping cheese pizza). Mission accomplished.

Oh no no no, I feel so bad for doing this, but this was so awful that I just had to speak up.

I ordered countless times from Ranchito in Uptown and got amazing food and great, quick service. I moved to West town/Wicker and started ordering from this Ranchito since it was closer.

Was all good until I got the brilliant idea to order from their attached "Italian" menu. I feel so, so bad because I spoke on the phone with a really reeeeeally nice guy (Chef J) when ordering delivery. I got a side salad with my order of shrimp scampi and it had uncut, brown leaves with thick stems, and CHUNKS I mean CHUNKS of dirt and sand that I can't even imagine being able to miss during preparation.

My stuffed mushrooms were cold, and in the same package, someone thought it would be a great idea to throw in some haphazardly grilled veggies drizzled in some weird brown bandage-flavored sauce.

2 stars only because they were so nice and excited to be serving from the new menu, but holy crap, please please please stick to the super chicken nachos. DO NOT order from the Italian menu.

Delivery time was normal, everything I ordered was there, servings were huge and the guacamole was decent. Otherwise it was all just yuck.

The carne asada in my food was all fat and gristle. I couldn't even get thru half of my meal. I basically just feasted on the chips and guacamole. Super disappointed. I was really craving mexican food the day I ordered it and it wasn't like I was expecting amazing mexican food either! I will not be ordering or eating from here again.

I and a few friends decided to eat here on a Saturday afternoon. From the reviews I'm seeing this is more of a late-night joint to get crappy greasy food to help stave off a hang-over and mellow out a serious buzz. Perhaps if I had been loaded I would have been able to deal with it. As it is, I was dead sober and looking for something to pick at without really having to eat a full meal. My two lunch companions, however, were in for some serious grub.

Shortly after sitting down we had to ask for the TV to be turned down because it was so loud we couldn't even have a conversation. I'm not really sure which of the three women that we dealt with was actually our waitress, but they seemed to be trying really hard, if not succeeding at it. We were served our drinks quite promptly as well as a decent response time for the food.

The problem is that one of the meals ordered was supposed to be steak and instead he got chicken. The waitress realized as she put it down that it was wrong and then seemed to hover, almost hoping that he'd just eat it anyway. He let her know he'd prefer steak and went about waiting for it. My other companion ordered a chorizo burrito and barley managed to make it thru a quarter of it before having to abandon her meal. She felt bad wasting all that food, but she simply couldn't go thru with it. As for me you ask? Well, in my opinion it takes a special kind of ineptitude to screw up chicken fingers, and yet, this place managed it. They were so terrible that I ended up only making it thru two of them.

Basically I've come to the conclusion that it's my own fault for not Yelping the place before eating there. Lesson learned

70 hour plus work weeks in the last few weeks had me feeling like a Cranky McCrankypants. Comfort food helps me feel better emotionally even as my ass grows. So, Taqueria El Ranchito - via Foodler - satisfied my late night cravings while aiding me in decimating my health and self-image. Thanks, yo!

Foodler delivered my burrito suizo & 3 milk cake in about half the guesstimated time. (1/2 star there). As(s) I told you, comfort food helps me concentrate during late night writing sessions and 3 milk cake is essential to that.

So, the food: 2 stars. Huge portion sizes (easily a lunch and dinner). Greasy - swimming in cheese. Tasteless beans. Neon orange rice. Lots of meat (some gristle) and not enough veggies. Cake resembled heavy pound cake slab over which sweetened condensed milk was poured. Jellied strawberries and cardboard paper consistency whipped cream topping that I had to scrape off into the garbage.

Total damage to my wallet (25% tip + tax, included) equaled just under $15. 1/2 star for getting a second filling, if slightly unsatisfying meal out of it.

wow, I can't believe all of the negative reviews....my neighbor and I cam across this restaurant on grub hub for delivery and couldn't believe how inexpensive they were.

After we ordered about half the menu, the food came in less than an hour and the bill was only $35!

I loved everything, except maybe the nachos. El Ranchito has been my go-to delivery ever since!

I'm craving it now:)

OK - This place gets four stars just for having $.99 margaritas on Thursday nights. YES I said it - $.99 margaritas. Margaritas have the power to make my friends and me giggle and get silly. They're so delicious and we always have a good time. And I can get pretty good and buzzed for $5. Yay!

Aside from the amazingly insane deals on margaritas, the food was pretty good, too. I had the taco dinner which could have had some lettuce and cheese but the beef was good and the portions were HUGE. I could only finish one taco and some of my rice and beans. My friends had yummy burritos (same huge portions) and some enchaladas. Everyone really enjoyed their food and I'd definitely try something different next time.

The restaurant is much larger than I thought and there's tons of booths and tables. When we arrived at 6 it wasn't that busy, but by 7:15 the place was hoppin. I think a lot of people come to the restaurant to watch crazy tella novellas, which is awesome. There were some TVs playing the show and there were some customers who were fixated on whatever was happening - I'm pretty sure they were there on purpose just to eat and watch their favorite show. That's awesome. Our server was super friendly and knew we wanted all of the margaritas we could handle. She was attentive and came back often to make sure we had everything that we needed.

I can see this place becoming a regular Thursday night hangout with friends. Mmmmm... margaritas.

Ugh! Ugh Ugh! We were looking for someplace that would deliver a quick, reasonably priced lunch for us. This place is definitely is quick and reasonably price but the the old slogan holds true that you get what you pay for.

I ordered a simple taco dinner with cilantro and onions on the tacos. Something like this should not be too difficult. The beans were very soupy but had a decent taste to them. My tacos were horrible and were barely edible. The carne asada was overcooked to the point of being so crunchy that i feared breaking a tooth. The girl who took my order was very pleasant and friendly though and they got our food to us quickly.

This place delivers late into the night and I will most likely give this this place the benefit of the doubt and give them one more chance. They could have just had a bad day. This place could possibly earn another star if they would only just not overcook my food. We shall see.

Upon reading the reviews while waiting for my order, I came across each and every bad review.
Food was hot and way ahead of time, plus.

My burrito was a large taco filled with grease and chunks of cheese and WAY to much sour cream.

My Taco was done in 2 bites.

My wings were actually really good.

Meh, late night food, and didn't expect much.

Unless I am starving again in the wee hours, I WON'T be ordering from here again...

No matter how late it is at night, no matter how drunk you are, no matter how tired of Chicago's Pizza you are, please heed this review: this is the most disgusting 'Mexican' food you will ever experience. If you can call it Mexican. If you can even call it food.

The boyfriend and I saw the bad reviews on Yelp and still ordered (via GrubHub) because there wasn't anything else delivering besides Chicago's Pizza (which we were sick of) and Nan's Chinese (just gross). Why not Mexican? You have to try pretty hard to screw up Mexican food.

We ordered a carne asada burrito which was all fat and gristle- the meat was of such poor quality I wouldn't even consider feeding it to my dog. It was virtually inedible. We also ordered a taco salad with chicken- which was simply a mushy mess of chicken with a ton of cheese in the bottom (I had specifically asked for no cheese) and no beans in it, just chicken, cheese, and green peppers. It was so sloppy that I had to pour out about a cup of grease/water before I -attempted- to eat it.

The boyfriend also ordered beans and rice. The rice was horribly dry and flavorless and the refried beans were watered down to the point that it was a gravy. They were grey and tasted like lard mixed with water. If you can't even get beans and rice right, the rest of the food is going to be awful. It was. Everything was super greasy, overcooked, and disgusting.

I would sooner eat at Taco Bell than eat anything from El Ran-cido ever again. I would, in fact, eat Taco Bell out of a dumpster before eating from this place.

I can't believe there are so may people under appreciating this place. First of all how would a "vegan" reconcile eating Mexican fast food. You must know that most Mexican food will be, at the very least, touched by lard - yes, EEK lard.
This place delivers until 5AM on the weekends!! That is enough right there. I get home, wasted, place my order for Carne Asada with Flour tortillas and a "margarita." I put on my jammies and slide a DVD into the player and wait. I am so happy to get this feast which is a bit healthier than the carb loading I might do at some breakfast oriented middle of the night stop. Did I mention I am in my jammies, in my own home!

So I just had take-out from El Ranchito. I was hoping the super nachos would be super, but they ended up being a serious disappointment. The jalapenos had no taste, the cheese was dry and cold, meat didn't taste like meat, sour cream and guac- *shrug*. However the Bisteck Encebollado was decent. The steak was well cooked, the beans and rice you can't go wrong. The only complaint with the main dish is the amount of oil coming out of it- which was a lot.

Overall the food is disappointing, but for the prices you pay, it's definitely a good deal to fill your stomach. I'm half done with my $15 meal and I eat a lot. The late hours for delivery (2am I believe) is also great for you night owls out there, and for night workers like me.

Given that I've been here so many times (50+) and consistently had a good experience, I'm kind of shocked that there are quite a few negative reviews. But I always eat in-house (instead of take-out) and usually come during the day.

The orange juice is fresh-squeezed as you order it (the juicer's behind the bar). I have a few staple dishes I eat here; the Huevos Mexicanos and Huaraches (sort of a taco on a boat-shaped slab of corn). The nachos are high quality and the three salsas (red, green, and pico de gallo) are all spicy.

At least one of the staff is patient enough to allow me to stumble through my order in Spanish (though she knows perfectly good English).

On weekend days you can watch Mexican circus wrestling (not sure what it's called), which is one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen. Teams of wrestlers dressed in costumes, some women wrestlers carrying wooden paddles to spank their male competitors.

During the day you can get a booth to yourself and sit there all day to read and write. Sometimes you even get a cowboy drinking coronas by himself in the next booth over, if you show up early enough in the morning.

Very often a mariachi band will show up to play at night. It's jarringly loud but actually quite good.

This place used to be a movie theatre back in the jazz era. You can sorta guess from the high ceilings, but if you step across the street you'll see the inscription "Enterprise" just above the awning.

I'm feeling rather generous today, plus I haven't yet gotten food poisoning. That's why two stars instead of one.

I am not afraid of cheap Mexican food (thankfully, or I would starve to death in my 'hood). I am always a fan of anyone who will deliver late night, especially without judging my drunken, disheveled, pajama-ed appearance.

But ordering is quite the adventure. Interestingly enough, they have eliminated the online order form on Grub Hub, which you would think would help, not hinder, getting the order right. Last time (and yes, it is the LAST time), I called to give my order, and with it gave them a credit card number. The first callback I got was because my credit card "wasn't working" (wrong numbers). The second was because they couldn't figure out where I lived. The third was to make sure I was home.

And their food is definitely on the grosser side, and that's when they do get the correct food to you. It used to be at least marginally good, but the last chicken burrito I ordered was comprised mainly of refried chicken skin. It wasn't even late night, but I guess I received the dregs from the fryer. Tried covering the food in the salsa, but then tasted it for at least two days afterwards (salsa-drenched chicken skin burps...blech). And all of this delightful fare took over an hour to prepare. Won't be making the same mistake again.

I received this wonderfully illustrated menu, almost like from a Chinese place, complete with pictures of some of the entrees they served. The menu was extensive and was just pleading, almost crying to be used.

So, hungry that I was one night, out of desperation, I decided to give this "real Mexican Food" place, as their motto so proudly boasts, that ultimate call from a potential new customer.

Right from the get go... Their phone etiquette was such that I felt like I was calling a garage to see if my car was ready to be picked up after service. This in itself should have raised a red flag with me but, I proceeded to place my order... That will be there in one hour... and I hung up...

My food arrived...as inexpensive as it was I decided to get two entrees to sample....

One of my favorite taco combinations is chorizo, onion and cilantro... I could not go beyond two bites... the dry chorizo meat was the same consistency, color and texture as that of a Gaines Burger for dogs. The taste lacked the zing of real chorizo! It was that bad and the meat was packed in there to the top of the taco shell....it was awful to say the least...

The second item I ordered was the stuffed poblano peppers. This was like eating a deflated condom and so greasy.... just a bunch of nothing. The little salad that arrived along was so wilted and hot from being backed next to hot food. DOA!! (dead on arrival) ... So that was tossed too.

Believe it or not! The rice and beans were flawless! Imagine that, you die on the entree but survive on the sides!

I wouldn't advise anyone familiar with what "real Mexican Food" tastes like to eat here.

Caution...........Eat at your own risk!

Hey, are you deficient in your daily bone, fat and gristle requirement? Then this is the place for you!

Honestly, I never expected much when I ordering from this low-end, late-night slop house, but man it's truly worse than ever lately. Anything with chicken in it is full of bones and anything involving beef or pork is full of bones, fat and gristle. I nearly broke a tooth on a beef taco in my last order. Add to that the fact that, particularly when it come to GrubHub online orders, they ALWAYS get at least part of the order wrong. Either the "free tamale" is missing or they miscount when you specify you want more than one of a certain item. My favorite new mistake is when you enter a credit card online and they show up without a credit receipt and expect you to give them cash and they look at you as if you're the one who fucked up. Really bad food and really bad service.

The only reason I've ordered from them in the past is because they're open late and I'm usually so drunk I'm able to delude myself into believing that "this time it'll be GREAT!" But I've finally learned my lesson. This place sucks. If my friends and I need to order food after midnight, I'll give my business to Chicago's Pizza instead. Sure, their food is pretty mediocre too, but it's 1,000 times better and the service is 1,000 times more reliable.

Super inexpensive Mexican food.

The food is okay - I have had better Mexican food in Albany Park... but, you can't beat the $.99 margaritas on Monday!

(Normally priced at $3.5 - still not bad!)

LAST TIME I ATE HERE I ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL.
I am still paying the bills for it too.

The doctors couldnt even figure out what i caught, it wasnt food poisoning because it lasted well over 2 weeks. It was some weird stomach virus/bug, i had to be prescribed antibiotics to stop the stomach pains that made me wish i was dead! Dont say i didnt warn you....

This is my favorite taqueria. I have their number on speed dial. When I was finishing my MLS, we ordered from them at least once a week.

While over the course of the past four years, their delivery time has increased exponentially, I'm still willing to wait 45 minutes for those lovely chorizo tacos-- simply topped with raw onion and lots of cilantro. I rarely stray from my chorizo taco ways, but when I have it's all been good. Great sopes and huaraches, I love the fried quesadilla de hongos, and their burritos are also pretty good (though not my favorite in the city-- that honor goes to Taco Burrito House on Fullerton). The regular nachos are a must have-- loaded with cilantro-y guacamole and escabeche. We once got a free horchata for no discernible reason and it too was good. One day I swear I'm going to order the chivo. You'll be the first to know when I do.

They're practically always open so there's absolutely no reason for you to not call them now and order a taco or two.

If I could do negative stars I would. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, not even my enemies. I'm not sure what their history is in regards to health violations but I'm sure it's not favorable.
I had delivery one time and didn't finish all the food, so I tossed it into my empty garbage can... now I'm not a person who produces a lot of trash so I hadn't taken my trash out for a good week or so, and with no other food in there, a week or so later my trash can was crawling with maggots - i mean so many they were falling out onto the floor!!! The only explanation could have been the food from Taqueria El Ranchito. DO NOT eat here!!
