Saw two bands here Sat. Â New Age of Radio and Fuhnetick Union. Â Both great live and loud. Â Bar was nothing special but nice people, Â great sound system, Â and a few tvs. Â Two pool tables kept us busy until the show began. Â My beer kept getting swiped by the staff but got a couple back free. Â All in all a great place to go see a band live. Â Probably wouldnt just hang out there.
Review Source:As far as the "Bands Beware" goes, It's all wrong. If you weren't worth paying, you aren't going to like the results.. WE play there every second Saturday of the month, and ALWAYS have a blast and get paid, so this is not a shady business in the least.
They do not serve food, which is ok for a NC bar, but their beer selection is good enough to make up for it. They have locals on draft and are reasonably priced. The bartenders are all AWESOME and actually will have a conversation with you (if you choose to initiate it).
They have cool events going on all the time, from mock poker tournaments to live music (as alluded to before), and always have some cool folks strolling by.
If they served food, It'd be a hands down fiver, but four isn't bad!
Cheap drinks, pool tables, and wii sports. Â The bartenders have never made me feel unwelcome and the owners are great people. Â One time a regular customer was utterly out of line in his behavior towards me and my friends and he was told to get lost and never show his face again. Â I like a place that cares about the quality of their customers and having a safe environment. Â I can't give less than 5.
