Tequilas Bar & Grill

Good job only staffing 2 bartenders on the only day you'll get more than 4 people in the bar

Tequilas is a new addition to the North-of-Lane area of campus.

What I liked about this place:
-unlimited peanuts
-they paired up with popular Mexican restaurant Cazuelas for their jumbo margarita cups! So smart! Basically, you buy a huge margarita glass for about $20 and get unlimited refills at Tequilas OR Cazuelas for $7.99.
-the DJ was SO friendly!
-the had a good selection of margaritas and mixed drinks, as well as $0.75 beers

What I didn't like so much:
-Every light in the place was on! Like fluorescent lighting...they could definitely stand to turn off a few of those.
-the mixed drinks, which contained well liquor, were $5.55 each. A little steep for the campus atmosphere.
-the mechanical bull only runs on Friday or Saturday nights

I would try Tequilas again next time I want to ride a mechanical bull or sing karaoke at a Mexican restaurant...just kidding! It wasn't bad for a margarita and had plenty of tables and seats for our group.
