I found myself in Stamford a couple of months ago and ended up at Tigins one night for dinner. You wouldn't think that a pub with so many nooks and crannies would work, but the atmosphere was incredibly lively, almost like you were at some good friends house for a party.
I had the blackened chicken for dinner. I enjoyed it and mostly appreciated that it was a bit of a variation from the standard pub food that you tend to see.
They also had a pretty good beer selection there, which I guess is one of the most important things to have at a good pub.
I thought this was a cozy place. Â We went on a really nice late afternoon, so most people sat outside, making the inside nice enough to have conversation in a normal voice. Â Their sandwich selection was sufficient for a bar selection and good enough. Â I'd go back there for a friends' gathering place again.
Review Source:Last night I went back to Tigin for the first time in several months. Â I was less than impressed. Â I can now definitively say that I no longer enjoy evenings at TIgin. Â I will continue to patronize this establishment during the day, but that's it.
If you're a beer chugging bro, the night scene at Tigin is perfect for you.
I really don't feel inclined to say much more about this.
