I have a friend who lived in Stamford for a while several years ago, and a few weeks ago we met up for a beer & lunch and went here at his suggestion as once upon a time this was his go to place.

Baseball stuff EVERYWHERE. That's cool because I'm a huge Yankees fan. Actually SAW Bobby V, which I wasn't expecting. I had a turkey burger which was awesome. I need an excuse to go back to try more stuff. Shame Stamford isn't *that* close for me - I mean it's a reasonable train ride, but still a bit of a hike. The service was great, and I will be back...eventually!

The TVs in my grandma's spare attic bedrooms are bigger and newer than some of the ones in this sports bar.  Food is average...you have to really really like sports or young waitresses to have a good time here.  Think fried everything and chicken sandwiches.  Not much too see here but tables covered in old baseball cards and silicon.

good place to catch the games with your friends. i prefer it for saturdays because there's a thinner college football crowd compared to the NFL sunday crowd where it's slim picking trying to find a seat, nevermind two together. and the memorabilia-laden bar area & dining rooms are pretty neat.

best wings in stamford ... if you like them spicy. they're actually really hot but people never heed the warning. the rest of the menu prob comes out of a bag in the freezer section (including the fried zucchini and the oven-breaded onion rings) of you local supermarket so stick to the wings.

there is a dreary vibe in terms of those who patronize there and those who work there. i have no idea what that's all about but it seems loathing. maybe bobby manages this place worse then he managed the red sox. i should knock off a star for Bobby V managing the red sox, but considering how it all ended maybe i should give his place all five stars.
