Pick Up Review:
Called in 2 pizza's and a salad ($45)
Drove down to pick up and took a walk around to check it out as I've heard good things. First thing i noticed was they are a "pour house" but I didn't see any taps.??
However the interior was nice, clean and had a good modern appeal.
One pizza ordered was "old word" or thin crust, it was burnt pretty well thus making it hard, not too good.
2nd pizza was gluten free and it wasn't burnt however the toppings were. It had promise but they are probably experimenting with this (cook crust FIRST then add toppings and cook somemore..)
All pizza's were 12inch and considering all this it seemed overpriced. They have well designed speciality pizzas toppings, but theres some serious compeition in this market for pizza. Maybe having too many crust options is a problem and sticking to 1 or 2 quality one's will help or I had the 1 bad order....
Are you kidding me??? Â The other Yelp reviewers must be friends with the owners. Â This place is mediocre at best. Â Cafe Silvium was packed so we decided to come here. Â We were told there would be a 15 minute wait even though there were many empty tables. Â When I pointed this out, the hostess said that she needed permission to put us on a certain table and left ostensibly to talk to someone. After 15 minutes, she put us in a booth just a few feet from where we had been standing near the entrance- nothing special. Â Calamari was decent but it was downhill from there. Â Everything was just bland and ordinary - pizza, salad and Tuscan chicken. Â The server seemed to be competent and friendly but we waited 30 minutes for our food from the time we ordered and the restaurant was not busy. They don't serve any bread so we were starving. Â I doubt this restaurant will be here long. Â The restaurant does not seem to be well managed. They can't seat customers promptly because they can't clear tables off quickly. Â It takes too long to get food out the kitchen. Â It was fairly empty for a Friday night - not a good sign.
