Ward Parkway Lanes

Came here for Rocking Bowl with a few friends. It started at 8:30 p.m. and was $20/person for shoes and unlimited games until 1 a.m. So that is a crappy price but the best price I can find anywhere. This is just your average bowling alley. Nothing fancy - exactly as you'd expect from a bowling alley. The food is just okay. I think the drinks are overpriced - $4.40 for a well vodka + sprite? I guess $10 per pitcher is okay. I'll be back because I like to bowl and this is the cheapest! BYOB

This facility has many issues.  First of all, it is dirty. If you look up at the ceiling you can see the vents have not been clean for years. This is probably the reason why the lighting is horrible.  After a while your eyes hurt from trying to see clearly.  Secondly, the customer service is awful.  The lady at the rental desk was rude, short tempered and spoke in a tone of voice that is accusatory and sarcastic. My kids had to try on different size shoes which clearly annoyed her.  She yelled at my daughter for asking for a size she had just put back.  Plus some of the pairs were torn and old.   Many time the balls would not come back through the machine. Before asking for help I just had my kids use a different ball, but then we only had heavy ones left.   I called the front desk twice, and the second time she yelled back at me through the intercom, "stop throwing balls down."  This made no sense and was not helpful in any way.  At that point I went to her to explain that we are not doing anything out of the ordinary and that I did not appreciate her attitude.  She attempted to make up an excuse about how 6 pound balls sometimes do not come back. Really??  And then when I said I would be writing a review on yelp, she gave an insincere apology. The facility was not even busy so I would hate to see how she behaves when it is.  I will never take my family here again!

I've been bowling here for years. Love it.  I'm on a league and the management is always professional & courteous.  

This place is definitely old school.  No fancy decorations.  Fully stocked bar, good food, & the popcorn is better than the movie theaters.  

If you like to bowl then you won't be disappointed.
