Two thumbs up from me! Â The moment we walked in the door, the owner of the place welcomed us and invited us to sit down at the bar (it was just me and my friend). Â We were given drinks and menus, and ordered the lemon pepper calamari. Â Holy crap was it good! Â I ordered a steak salad while my friend had a sandwich. Â Both just AWESOME. Â I agree with another Yelper about the parking - pretty much non-existent. Â But there is plenty of street parking. Â I would definitely recommend this place if only for the calamari! Â Please sir, can I have some more???
Review Source:Comfy homey atmosphere and good food with lots of choices. Love coming here with family---easy parking and excellent service all around. There is a great kids' menu which is helpful, and the booths are big enough for everybody to sit together (6 of us last time but I think 8 would fit). Kids eat free on Mondays--how cool is that? It's not noisy and everyone is friendly. Reminds me of cafes my own parents used to take us back in the day, and that's not just because of the nostalgic decor hanging from the ceiling!
Review Source:Went there tonight with my fiance' and future mother-in-law. Â Wasn't very busy at all, which is usually a red flag to me, but I had been there once before with pretty good results, so we went anyway.
We were seated and had drinks within 5 minutes, and our order taken within 15 minutes, giving us some good time to chat over our drinks. Â The food came out not 10 minutes later, when we realized we made a mistake on one of the orders. Â My fiance' has a dairy allergy and forgot to tell the waiter to remove the cheese from the sandwich. Â When we let him know we goofed up, he offered to make a new one, no problems or questions asked. Â The remade sandwich came out about 5 minutes later, with plenty of time for all of us to eat together.
Needless to say they got a great tip.
Came during lunch break one fine day, and was seated near the bar with everyone else, I think because there was only 1 waitress. Not a big problem, but seated kinda uncomfortably close to other tables. For $10 + tip, I ordered the King Street Station with sweet potato fries, but didn't bother with drink menu because of work. Anyway, the sandwich was good, not greasy, decent size (could use a few more slices of pastrami though). Service was fine. I'd like to come back for dinner and try it again. Plenty of street parking in Renton.
Review Source:Went here with my Husband and a buddy of ours. Â The food is good, a little over priced for Pub Grub. Â But they also totally pimped out the Pasta Dish my friend ordered. Â The Beer is okay, but they had they had a slight metallic taste to them. Â
Now on to the waiter we had. Â His name is Rob and had to be one of the best waiter's we have met in a long time. Â He mentioned he used to work in bar's in Hawaii, and really had that Aloha spirit, and made us feel like we were long time customers, and made the whole dining experience feel special.
the good
Beer. Great beer selection. I didn't have enough, however, to get me past my other issues.
the passable
The pastrami sandwich was OK. It wasn't NYC deli good, but it wasn't terrible, either. Could have used a little more mustard.
the bad
THE SALAD WAS ROTTING. Can you give enough of a care to look at the food you're serving, and maybe open a new bag of salad or sort and re-wash the old one? (don't forget to dry it - no one wants a wet salad) After picking through the salad for a few minutes, I stopped when one rotten piece of salad left a brown liquid residue on one of the good pieces of lettuce it was stuck to. Disgusting.
the ugly
I was seated on a plastic outdoor chair. There's a reason they have "not for restaurant use" stamped on them. I gently put my weight on the chair THE CHAIR BROKE. I'm glad I wasn't hurt. You would think when someone has an accident in your restaurant, the manager would at least drop by and offer a (hopefully) sincere apology. Not at the Whistle Stop. Throw those plastic chairs away before someone gets hurt and sues you for negligence. Then you'll have no chance to improve your mediocre product.
the typical
Read the other reviews, the service here is lackluster. It is obvious that whoever manages the servers is not teaching them anything about efficiency or how to serve customers. It isn't that hard, and my standards aren't that high, particularly when I have a good beer in hand.
Today the Whistle Stop managed to miss my lowest expectations. Not again for me, thanks.
A lot of friends are regulars here (in fact we saw people we knew at 5 different tables). I've heard lots about it but despite being in Renton for 40+ years this was my first time here.
Came in around 7:00 with my wife. Ignored at the door for a few minutes but hostess was friendly. Restaurant was moderately busy (right around half the tables in use) but not crazy busy. Took 15 minutes to get a drink order which happened just as my wife and I were discussing getting up and leaving and going elsewhere. By this time we had long decided on food as well so it was all ordered at once. About 5 minutes after ordering a friend of ours came in and was seated near us. They ordered about 5 minutes after arriving and yet there food came out nearly simultaneously as ours (which took way to long given how much earlier we'd ordered).
Food was overall good, onion rings were fantastic, salad was respectable and I had what was essentially a french dip (they had another name for it). The sandwich was tasty but too much grissle in one half of the sandwich and both halves were soggy on the bottom from au jus spilling out of the bowl when delivering to the table.
The server was apologetic about the speed of things but the restaurant was never busy enough to validate the excuses nor as I mentioned did others seem to be impacted. It kind of left me feeling like I'd walked into a place where the regulars were like family and new customers were outsiders or something.
Overall not impressed and probably will not go back again. I guess that's okay as they've survived a long time in this town without me, and me without them. So much for trying something new though!
Some time ago, I won a gift certificate to Whistle Stop.
Finally, I got to use it. A Ninja and a Man-child met to talk various schemes and shenanigans of a computer-y work sort and I got to be the mediator. Being the friend (and best personal assistant he doesn't have) to one and the mother of the other.
MC and I arrived what I'll call "early", and had the chance to catch up and enjoy some nibbles and drinks while Ninja fought an epic battle against rush hour traffic.
Here's some  run-downs--
Tiny, tiny dedicated parking lot (2, 3 spots tops) but decent enough street parking
It's Renton, so if you know it all, you know what I mean.
Very friendly and attentive service from *everyone*
Nice HH appetizer menu
For the regular lunch menu offerings (we arrived at the end of lunch and stayed through dinner service, so we saw both, but only ordered from lunch), my feeling is they are just a smidgen overpriced. The burger concoctions they offer all sound amazing, and MC's was tasty, but it is pre-formed patties, likely frozen, and a few other shortcuts in which there is nothing wrong with, but doesn't put you on the same price levels. Not egregious, just there.
Really nice selection of beers. Something (or two or three) for everyone.
The one well drink I had during my trip through the happy hour menu was, sadly, extraordinarily weak. It tasted like watered down pop. super sad face for that.
In the end, I think we ended up with 4 drinks each for Ninja and I (maybe he had 3 and I had 5, but whatever), a burger, salad, huge plate of nachos, plate of garlic fries, and the Mediterranean app plate and several hours of fun catching up with my Man-child and watching him and Ninja geek-out or whatever....all for under $75.
It's location means I won't make it a routine destination place, but should I ever find folks willing to explore it, or visit someone in Renton, I would recommend this place.
It's cute and themed, without being nauseating about it. The service is like being cared for by friends and family, the food--although not super gourmet or all handmade in house--is tasty and with a wide variety of offerings for decent enough prices (though not great), but with a good HH menu and a wide variety of yummy beers, including their own brews.
So, thumbs up Whistle Stop.
Whistlestop Ale House is one of those restaurants I probably passed by a thousand times before stopping in. It sits on a street corner in an unassuming yellow building with the tiniest lot I've ever seen. Don't even bother, just park on the street in front of Liberty Square apartments and walk over. The neighborhood is safe enough for Renton.
The restaurant has a lot of character but in need of some repair. A couple bikes hang from the ceiling and old bar taps decorate the divider from the dining room to the bar. A few of the booth seats are falling apartment and are patched together with tape.
Though it's a bar many families come here. And why not? The food is delicious! Their burgers are so far the best I've had in Renton. They allow you to make modifications and they cook it perfectly. I want my burgers to moo a little and they make it so. They're good sized burgers too! The prices are on par with Red Robin without the Red Robin after taste.
They offer brunch on the weekends. Their French Toast was very good, but their cinnamon butter was even better.
I always get the tea and even there I'm impressed. Most places that aren't Japanese restaurants give you a cup of hot water and a tea pouch and that's it. They give me a cup of hot water, a little container of hot water, and a whole assortment of teas with two packets of honey. Honey makes my taste buds dance.
Pretty cool set-up..  kind of a bavarian style there are bikes hanking up and a big wooden bar. There is a place for minors so the whole family can enjoy the tasty menu ..except beer. They also have all kinds of family games that they have to play at the tablel  Back to the beer.. they have several great choices on tap including good seasonal choices . All the staff is super friendly!! a must visit even once
Review Source:I was meeting a few guys for lunch, one of them someone I hadn't seen in awhile due to him retiring and spending a good portion of his time south. Â So, it was a reunion of sorts. Â
As I come in through the door, the owner recognizes my buddy and his friend. Â I missed most of the conversation but it turns out, the owner realizes the two guys I'm with have been patronizing the Stop for a number of years. Â He looks at all of us and says, "You guys have been coming here a long, long time. Â Can I buy your lunch today?" Â
How good is that? Â The food and drinks were good and the staff was very friendly. Â That, plus the owner recognizing my friends for their years of patronage, just made me a regular customer from now on.
Ever been a member of a work group where personalities clicked and y'all developed a bond that lasts even after the group has been dispersed over a decade ago? Â That describes my work group from the late 90s. Â We still get together regularly, and this month we came here for lunch at Whistle Stop. Â This was my first visit.
A fairly typical pub. Â Under high ceilings, there's a vast selection of brews on tap with TVs in every corner.
Service was excellent, with our food being brought out in good time by friendly servers.
Each of our group enjoyed their lunch. Â I went with the special: a 1/3 pound burger. Â I substituted the curry soup of the day for the fries. Â The burger was excellent with grilled onions and balsamic mayo. Â The curry soup was delicious.
Repeat visits are a strong possibility.
This was a Yelp find for me. New to the Renton are but I've been to most the other popular spots in the area, Dog and Pony, A Terrible Beauty, Williams, and the Berliner among others. Whistle Stop is definitely my new go-to.
The first thing that set them apart was the cover of their menu discussing their history and commitment to the community. It was nice to read something really genuine.
The beer selection is very good as you might expect from an Ale House. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is I felt the staff should have been a little more prepared to answer questions and make meaningful recommendation with as many taps as they had. They put forward an acceptable effort.
The food was good and reasonably priced. I like that they have a bar area and a dining room area where lots of families were. Definitely will go again.
The Whistle Stop Ale House is a good alternative in Renton for lunch or casual dining. Â Interesting menu options of you're wanting something different from a chain restaurant and a variety of micro brews. Â
The owners of the business are good folks with deep connections to the community and a history of supporting the redevelopment of DT Renton for the past few years, long before it became in vogue to do so.
Overall though, service and food pretty good, though inconsistently so.
I really wish I could give Whistle Stop more stars, but the service was horrendous. We stood at the door for a good 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged, and then when we were finally seated, the table that was seated after us had their order taken first. We continued to be more or less ignored; Cam wanted to try a taste of one of the pale ales and by the time he got it it was warm and flat.
It's too bad that service was so bad because the food was actually really good. I had the Verona Station (which is pretty much their version of the blue cheese and bacon burger) and all the components were great. The burger was even perfectly charbroiled with that great burnt flavor (in a good way.) It reminded me a lot of the burgers my dad would grill on his barbeque, but even better.
We might give this place a try again if we're in the area, but it's likely that we'll try somewhere else first.
I really enjoy Whistle Stop... they have a very relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels like they are a regular. Â They frequently update their Facebook page with events and photos from the restaurant and they play an active role in keeping Renton a nice place to be. Â They have a great beer selection, a delicious menu (the gorgonzola pasta is HEAVENLY but really really heavy and not so healthy) and the breakfast always looks yummy, although we have yet to come in early enough to partake in it. Â
The parking lot is itty bitty, so plan to park on the street a block or two away. Â And, if they do not have someone ready to greet you at the door, be patient and grab a menu and browse, or help yourself to a seat at the bar... for whatever reason people expect an instant greeter at the front door, but this place is small and someone will come to seat you as soon as they can... I've never had to wait more than a few minutes at the most, and its usually during a slow time when there is only one waitress covering.
I've been here twice now for lunch and it's just fantastic. The servers are friendly and the food is really good. Especially their soup. Twice now I've order a cup of soup and a half sandwich and end up taking the sandwich home. The first time I had their soup I think I did some record eating as it was gone in minutes.
I'm not a beer person so I can't comment on that but I'm in love with their food.
Nobody who works here ever seems stressed out, and nobody is trying to cloyingly over-please or up-sell/cross-promote anything. The beers on tap are excellent and I've enjoyed my dinner on each of four visits. These days, I consider the Whistle Stop to be very dependable and low key.
It's a go-to location for beer, away from any kind of invasive "scene" and after a tough day at work.
I went here this past Thursday after a long train ride, and a long flight for my brother. Â The front desk recommended it, staying local you know and off we went to the Whistle Stop. Â We were given a table right away, and a nice server came up and got us a drinks (local beers) and some chips and salsa. Â Yum! Â The chips were homemade...and the salsa was too; a good way to start out a late lunch.
My brother had the quesedilla burger...and I had a burger with walnuts on it. Â Hmm. Â The walnut burger was good, and my brother didn't have any complaints. Â The service was pretty impeccable. Â If I lived here, I'd be back.
Someone please explain their crazy seating system to me...
I really want to like this place more because there aren't many great pubs in Renton and I like the open atmosphere of this place. Â The have a good menu (sandwiches and salads are top notch) and a good beer assortment (even cider). Â Prices are reasonable for lunch. Â
BUT, every time I come here they insist on seating me next to the only person in the restaurant. I know there's a plan, but seriously?! Â It's empty. Â Can I at least have one table empty between us? If you want to sit on the east, they'll seat you on the west. Â Like the window? Â Well you have to sit in the bar side now. Â The most passive aggressive seating system I've encountered. But I keep coming back for the food. Â Maybe we both need therapy...
If you don't mind sitting right next to only other person in a 50 person restaurant and listen to them slurp their soup, bump it up a star.
Would not, could not recommend this place. Â I say you should go to the Dog & Pony Alehouse a few short blocks away instead.
Tried their sweet potato fries - they do not look or taste like sweet potato fries. I even asked TWO servers if we had the right order. Â They were not very good "sweet potato" fries" or fries. Â Hubby got the hot wings - smothered in Frank's Red Hot goodness - but the hot sauce and the bleu cheese dip were the two redeeming things about that dish.
Got the Whistle Stop lager and it was mediocre and hubby got the oat stout and he said he's had better.
Ambiance was totally cool and one of the servers was awesome! Â But the food and beer are what's important and what this restaurant lacks.
So this review is for my most recent visit this past friday night. I met my friend Roza for some good eats and drinks. Â Unfortunately, this go around, their beer selection (rotate selections of beers, wines) did not include my boddington creamy ale, but that didn't stop me! Our waitress was very nice in letting us try shot glasses of various beers for free! Â We were happy and made our selections! Â This free sample deserves a mention and come back with more yelpers!
I am glad that there is more wait staff here in the evenings. It was so busy!!! Â Quick prompt service was a pleasant treat!
I had their cranberry blue cheese with candied walnut salad... DEEEE-LICIOUS!
Ahhh...The Whistle Stop. Â
I absolutely LOVE going to TWS! Â If we are ever trying to figure out where to go for a good dinner and some delicious beer, The Whistle Stop always comes up on top. Â They have daily specials that have yet to disappoint me as well as a good selection of seasonal beer on tap. Â Did I mention the beer?
Jeff - bartender/operator/owner/comedian extraordinaire! Â If you get a chance to sit at the bar and converse with Jeff-fa-fa, you will certainly be entertained. Â WARNING: Not for the easily offended. Â :) Â
I enjoy everything about this place. Â OH! Â Don't forget to stop by during Oktoberfest! Â They have a live band and the staff all dress up! Â What a hoot!
I've been here a few times before and remembered that although the service was a bit slow, the food was pretty good.
The breakfast we had here this morning just wasn't anything to get excited about. My boyfriend ordered the Meat Lovers Omelet and was pretty happy with it. My friend and I both ordered the Train Wreck (chorizo, peppers, onions and red potatoes scrambled into eggs) which should have been really good. Â Unfortunately, the potatoes were cold while the rest of the dish was only luke warm and since this was a scramble... Not good. Â
Let me tell you what was good though, Â our waitress was very personable and very cool when my friend and I both asked for our dishes to be heated. She even took a few bucks off the check for the inconvenience which I thought was very considerate.
I would consider coming back here again....maybe lunch next time :)
My company likes to change up our "approved hotel list", so I find myself on this trip to Seattle in the Southcenter area. Â Searching for beer on mobile gmaps turned up the Whistle Stop near the hotel and not much more. Â So here I am at Happy Hour, though it's nearly 8PM in Austin.
There's a very nice selection of NW brews. Â Sadly, they were out of the cask conditioned IPA, but the Whistle Stop Dry Hop (made by Maritime, here in Seattle, I'm told) was quite good. Â There's also a Boundary Bay IPA (not shown on the blackboard) that's even better.
In addition to $3.50 beers (not completely sure which ones yet), several appetizers are on special for HH. Â On the bartender's (he's also the owner) recommendation I ordered the Toasted Pesto Bread ($3.50 at Happy Hour). Â I expected a smallish appetizer of tomato and cheese covered bread and got what I can best describe as a mini veggie pizza. Â It was quite tasty without being seriously unhealthy and left room for a couple more beers.
Physically, the Whistle Stop has a traditional old-fashioned original bar (moved from a nearby previous location) that highlights a simple space that is almost Southwestern in appearance. Â There are a stack of board games stacked in the corner that appear to get regular play.
I was greeted by the bartender/owner when I arrived but I can understand complaints about slowish service when they are busy. Â As I write this review it's the bartender/owner and two servers busting it to keep up. Â Hasn't been a problem for me on this visit but if you were in a hurry, you might have a concern.
The crowd is definitely friendly and I've had enjoyable/relaxed conversations with a couple of other bar patrons.
Overall, I am enjoying the Whistle Stop and will surely return if my hotel is in this corner of Seattle again. Â One additional note...surprisingly, they do NOT have Wifi access. Â I was able to get a crappy connection to a nearby open access point, but found this to be a minor downer for an otherwise quite enjoyable experience.
We were wanderin' the mean streets of Renton looking for a place to eat. Â We happened upon the Whistle Stop. Â We are generally fans of "pubby" kind of places, so decided to give it a go.
Can't really say anything bad about the place. Â A very friendly hostess greeted and seated us immediately -- in a very comfy booth. Â Our food and drink orders were taken and delivered in a timely manner. Â The overall environment was very casual and relaxed. Â Families with small kids, couples out for date night, groups of friends out for a drink, and a couple of singles all seemed happy to be here. Â And, it was clear that many had been many times before and that this is a favorite neighborhood hangout.
Food was fine. Â The wasabi ranch dressing on my side salad was quite tasty. Â I ended up adding tabasco to my gorgonzola chicken pasta because I thought it needed a bit of a punch (but, honestly, that could just be me). Â Mr. H. ended up leaving most of side Caesar because he said it was pretty meh. Â But, there was no sign remaining of his turkey and artichokes and a few other things sandwich, which, he reports, was made with real fresh roasted turkey and not the cold cut stuff.
In short, we're glad we gave Whistle Stop a try. Â If we lived in the neighborhood, we'd probably go again. Â BUT, it's not a place we'd go out of our way to go to. Â And, next time we're prowling for food in "ahead of the curve" land, we'll likely drive on past Whistle Stop to see what other Rentonesque wonders await.
I took a group of kids here for Mother's Day - we were Mother's Day refugees. Mom said, "I want time alone."
I piled the brood into the car and drove over here. We parked in the tiny lot (four spaces, and one is handicapped). We were seated immediately. I had not yet had breakfast, and it was already afternoon, so I ordered the standard kid fare - chicken strips and french fries, and something called the train wreck for myself.
The kids had a ball - they enjoyed their food, there was plenty of it, and we had service when we needed it. The room was half full on a Sunday afternoon, so I had no complaints regarding the service. My food was excellent - a huge scramble - literally a pile of eggs, sausage, spices, and fresh fruit. The kids picked at the fruit, completely finished the chicken, and had enough fries left over for a take out box. When it was all over, the whole event cost me a whopping twenty-two dollars
This place had lots of kids friendly attractions including a huge concrete filled bank safe and games. the kids did not get the traditional coloring paper and crayons, but neither did they miss them.
If you are looking for a family outing at a good price, Whistle Stop is a great choice that will make everyone happy.
I like the Whistle Stop, but I think I've grown tired of it in the past three years, as it hasn't changed much. Â They still offer a fine list of beers and not bad pub-food, but it's just kind of boring. Â As others have said, you can just kinda "take it easy" as you watch the rain come down outside. Â You know what it needs?
Skee-ball!
Lunch at the Whistle Stop is casual and tasty. The food comes out fresh, the service a bit slow, but the beer and company kept me entertained. I had the Cesar Chicken wrap and is was great! A little to much bacon for my liking, but good all-in-all. Sweet Potato French Fries-Okay, Chicken Quesadilla-Great and Cheesecake ....mmmmm
Monday night kids under 12 eat free. Bonus!
I never get to play cards anymore. Â Nobody has any time.
Except, when my husband and I have dinner here. Â We keep a deck of cards in the glove box just for here. Â There's something about this place that makes it ok to play a few leisurely hands. Â Maybe its because they don't mind if you hang out a bit and enjoy your beer. Â Maybe its because you know the waiter will wander by sometime after you order to ask you again what you were having. Â Maybe its because the waiter really wanted to play Gin along with us. Â Maybe its because they take so darned long to bring your food. Â Maybe because its always worth the wait.
Does it matter? Â Not a bit - because Husband loves their sandwiches and the Cranberry Gorgonzola salad. Â They always have a great selection of beer and are happy to recommend one that is "good" that night. Â I think their burgers are great - maybe a bit dry sometimes though. Â
Their desserts look wonderful. Â I would love to try a piece sometime. Â They serve Calico Cheesecake. Â I know this because I see it on the fresh board, but am always too full to get a piece. I have grand plans to come in just for dessert and coffee - oh, and a nice game of gin rummy.
The Whistle Stop is one of my favorite places in downtown Renton. Â It's a bar that feels a lot more like a cafe, with big windows and high ceilings. Â Service is always friendly and always slow, but I never mind waiting and chatting with friends. Â
Best bets for food are the Cranberry Gorgonzola salad and the Renton Station sandwich (though I've never had anything I didn't like here--for serious!). Â There's a bunch of beers on tap as well as beverages for those of us who don't drink beer. Â The Whistle Stop Lemonade, with jalapenos, cilantro, mint, lemonade, and Sprite, is absolutely fabulous if you like strange and spicy drinks.
They do brunch on the weekends and lunch and dinner during the week. I've never managed to be up early enough for bunch, but the menu looks fabulous!
This is a great neighborhood bar with a creative menu. Â They have lots of beer on tap (I don't so much pay attention to this because I hate beer - why drink something that tastes like a gym sock, I say). Â They also have a full bar and a decent selection of wine.
The Whistle Stop is never pretentious - staff are kind, other patrons, funny, and menu items down home.
They opened for breakfast recently and the menu online looks good - but I have yet to try it.
They were forced to move recently and took the opportunity to update the interior and add some outdoor seating. Â Huge improvement and very nice update to the neighborhood!
I was way less than impressed with the breakfast here. The food was very greasy and the service was, well, "off".
First the food. I don't eat breakfast out very much because too often I have an experience like I had here. While we did get our food quickly, our orders were incomplete and the food was glistening with grease. I even patted mine down with a napkin. The egg was slightly undercooked. The ham was WAY too salty. The hashbrowns were just, well, greasy. The toast was pretty good though. The kitchen was kind enough to cook one of my eggs over medium and one of them scrambled. However, the waitress made sure I realized that was a "big deal" and that if it were busy they wouldn't do it. Sheesh.
My gf's french toast was blander than she remembered having here before. It was also supposed to come with honey butter but came with just plain old butter. Her sausage was too greasy. She did like the scrambled egg though.
As for the service? The hostess seated us and as it was pretty close to lunch time, we asked if we could have lunch instead. The hostess gave us a snotty "no". She didn't even fake checking in with the kitchen about it. Nor did she offer up when they started serving lunch either.
Our waitress started out by asking us if we were sisters. Which was weird. We really look nothing alike. She was weirdly friendly the whole time. Kinda like fake friendly. It was unpleasant. My gf (who is stunningly beautiful) thought it might have to do with that whole prettiest girl in the room thing. She thought the waitress might have felt competitive with her about who was prettier.
Our waitress also forgot my toast and my gf's sausage. And she gave my gf a cup of tea rather than the pot she ordered.
So, I wasn't impressed. However, my gf says they have good lunch and dinner so I will update my review when I have a better experience there.
The Whistle Stop Ale House never disappoints. The Atmosphere is Chill Relax. They even have some Board games to play while you wait for your Ordered Items... The Staff is what makes this place welcoming cool =D Very Friendly & Quick. They have an array of Brews for your Choosing. The Food is Good. Very Reasonable Priced also.
I went here after a long day of Flying...I was craving some brew and some Food. I had a pint of brew from The Great Divide Beer Company that they had on tap, I forgot the name of it but ill describe what I tasted, it was an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Plenty of Hops..The Hop profile of that brew had a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. The Food that I saw appetizing were the Steak Skewers, when I finished..My Stomach yelled "yummy goodness."
All I can say it was a Happy Night. =)
