I was really disappointed with this place. I came here on my 21st birthday. I thought it would've been much fun than it was.
Where do I begin?
So why am I giving it one star?
Service: HORRIBLE!
RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE, need I say RUDE?
They was abrasive unpleasant. I understand it's Friday night. I understand it's busy. I understand everyone wants something, but what are you? A server. You're suppose to be willing and pleasant. Don't be abrasive and unfriendly.
Those male servers took forever to TAKE our order, they took forever to BRING our order. They forgot what we ordered! But  enraged me most was they over charged us on something we didn't even ordered! WTF?!
The bill was so messy. A party of 15, they should've realized we would've had to split the bill. Why would you give us one big chunk?! Getting our payment together was a nightmare.
Presentation: I think they have a dividing section for family sushi dinners, and karaoke/sushi dining. Anyways, the restaurant is dimly light, nicely decorated.
Food: It was decent, I have no complaints with the food, maybe except they're pricey. But obviously it didn't get my attention enough because all I can think about terrible the service was!
This place is mediocre. I will not be coming back here...And I highly recommend
spending your money elsewhere. You can get better sushi and service than here.

Just left Yen Sushi Lounge & Karaoke and am very happy with my experience. My friend and I were jonesing for sushi after our concert (the Foo Fighters at the Forum) and Yelp recommended Yen as being open til 2am and decently priced. I poked my head in because the kitchen was clearly closing but the hosts made an exception and I'm glad they did. Small cute place, friendly and accomodating wait staff and tasty sushi-great way to end any night!
Review Source:I had lunch here a while ago, but just haven't gotten around to doing a review, until now.
Service here was pretty bad.
I was seated at the bar with an elderly couple. The server took their order first. I was ready to order shortly after the elderly couple finished ordering, but my order wasn't taken for at least 5-10 minutes.
Finally, after my order was taken, it took maybe another 20 minutes to get the food out to me.
Maybe 5 minutes after I ordered, the elderly couple got their food. Midway through their meal, they asked me why it was taking so long. I sure as hell didn't know, and I was getting pretty peeved.
The elderly couple then started loudly complaining on my behalf! That I found pretty hilarious!!!
The food wasn't that memorable, but the horrible service was! All i ordered were soba noodles and a few orders of sushi.
On top of that, there weren't many people there for lunch at the time! Maybe the place was about 25% filled!
After I finished my lunch, they gave me the bill, and took off 10% for my trouble and my suffering.
10% wasn't close and I'm never going back. Especially when there's plenty of sushi restaurants that can do better!
TL;DR: Don't bother with this place. It earned it's 1 star rating.
