I'm a bit of a bahn mi addict so when I discovered another joint close to my home base serving up these delightful Vietnamese sandwiches, I had to head on over.

First things first, the bahn mi. It's good but not the best. The bread is part of the problem here - it's too soft. The fixings are fresh, but I wish they would pile on more veggies. It is supposed to be about healthy alternatives at 2 Bros after all. Now, the cold noodle salad - delicious! It's simple, fresh and served with an eggroll. Bonus!

The spicy wings are really good but they are far from spicy. Where's the heat? The sauce is more like a honey bbq sauce. I am not saying the sauce is bad, I'm saying it's not spicy - at all. Wings are served with your choice of fried rice or soup. The soups are simple but tasty. 2 Asian Bros is a nice healthy alternative and totally affordable. I will be back.

Delicious banh mi dinner brought home by J? Yes, and yes!

I tried both the classic ($4.50), the veggie ($4.50), and the noodle salad with shredded chicken ($7) (I was really hungry - don't judge!) and everything was really great. The bread wasn't as crisp and airy as I'd like it to be, but that was probably because I ate it a few hours after being made. I will say that the classic sandwich made me ecstatic because I could actually feel/eat the texture of the pig ears in the headcheese. Pig ears are my jam, and I eat them for the crunch, so, this headcheese is a winner. (That probably grossed most of you out - sorry!) The veggie featured fried vermicelli, tofu, and strips of sweet potato - super tasty. I would have liked a few more veggie toppings on my sandwiches, but they were good regardless. The noodle salad is enormous, and was supposed to make a great lunch, only I ate it for dinner 2.0. Oops. The traditional spring rolls held up nicely and I did manage to not eat those until the next day. They package up the dipping sauce, some hot sauce, and a little container of crushed peanuts.

A great and affordable addition to this neighborhood! Not sure how often I will stop back as Nhu Lan is within walking distance from me, but for those in the area, this is far better than a $5 footlong.

I have to start by being honest about the one thing that might annoy some people: the owners not only don't hide their religion, they put it right out their for everyone to see. The wall decor isn't creepy crucifix-style, but there was a bible verse on the wall, and a drawing of two stick guys praying on the opposite wall. Fortunately, that's a far as it goes- a mention, a nod, but no evangelizing. No one will send you home with a tract, and no one will preach at you.

Oh, and the food is solid, the prices are reasonable, and the space is clean. This was my first bubble tea experience, and I liked it enough that I plan to go back and try other flavors.
