Adelina's is awesome for a casual date night or a relaxed drink with a friend. Â The first time I was here my boyfriend explained that a "fraschetta romana" was typically a simple Italian tavern which caters to the working class with inexpensive wine and traditional dishes. Â I think Adelina's really nails that neighborhood, local vibe - I love the combination of simplicity and quality in their wine selection and menu. Â The rustic decor and warm service add to the appeal and invite you to settle in. Â It's the kind of place where I stop by for a drink and usually end up staying and enjoying some bruschetta, olives or a salad. Â I've also had the fried pizza and a few of their pasta dishes which were great. Â I'm looking forward to trying their brunch sometime soon!
Review Source:So when you google brunch in greenpoint, this place comes up as the very best, on some list that looks pretty convincing. It's nice, but certainly not the best Greenpoint brunch by any stretch of the imagination, I'm now thinking the chef's/owner's Mom wrote that list. Any way, if you have realistic expectations, it's cheap and nice, and there was no AC, which was a bit much on this 4th of July crazy hot day. Owner's Mom.... maybe that should be his next Christmas present?
I think the owner implied in comment below that i was lying for some reason... so to be exact, it wasn't 4th of july, but 4th of july WEEKEND, still super hot, and if there was an AC it wasn't noticeable. the parent part was a joke, sorry i only think that your place is fine, but not the best possible brunch in the area.
