How do I start about how good the food was? Ok lets just say the chicken biryani was by far THE BEST I've ever had in my life (And believe me Ive have A LOT).
My husband and I were a little skeptical about going to this place, as it did not have too many patrons when we entered. The Ambience was alright . But entered anyways as it was cold and we'd parked right next to it.
The owner Mr. Ali is such an enterprising man and was amazingly friendly and took our order. We ordered a Mutton Khorma, a garlic naan and chicken bhiryaani. Food arrived pretty soon. And once it did arrive, I was just blown away. The mutton was melting in my mouth, cooked to perfection. Same goes to the Bhiryaani. The quantity was a lot and there was a lot left to take home at the end . Yay :)
All in all it was an amazing end to our Saturday.
Chicken Charga was phenomenal! Â It was slow so I had a chance to talk with Ali who was very friendly and really knows cooking meats. Â He also gave us a sample of steamed goat which was also incredibly tender and delicious. I was very impressed and think that Ali will do very well if people discover his unique culinary skills.
Review Source:This review is solely based on delivery, so I have no clue of what the ambient is like or how good the service is, but...they have HUGE portions of food. Man I was impressed! And their prices? VERY reasonable.
My order was delivered before the estimated time, which was great, and the food was very hot. The garlic naan was obviously fresh out of the oven, and it was good -i've had better-
I ordered a mango lassi which came out with a great consistency (other places make it as a milkshake but this was milky and smooth as it should be) and it was delicious! The perfect combination for my meal too, as I ordered the following:
1) Chicken biryani
2) Karihi gosht
3) Dal palak
The order came with a salad, which was a bonus as I wasn't expecting it. I also ordered a chapati, but it was just okay.
The chicken biryani was amazing though, and again, huge. It was very spicy and full of flavor. The rice itself was very rich.
I have yet to try the karihi gosht because there was simply too much food for a meal, but their dal palak was delicious! I normally don't like lentils, but these ones were great, and they had a gingerly flavor to it that was perfect.
Will I be ordering from them again? Hell yes.
