this is a pretty awesome place to come if you were born in the 80's and 90's. you newer kids wouldnt understand with being raised on ipads lol. i wasnt so lucky.
anywho this place has a bunch of retro games along with air hockey and pool and skee ball. outside on the patio they have idk what its technically called but sand bags, giant jenga and giant connect 4. all of which are loads of fun esp with the company of alcohol. the music played here is random and i like that.
drinks are heavily poured here and priced nicely. i think i got 4 beers and 2 shots for 30 bucks which is pretty good for me.
its pretty poppin on a saturday night, i also went last night on a monday and it was kinda dead but i didnt care i had a bunch of friends with me and thats all i need to have fun.
clean bathrooms and great friendly staff with cheap drinks and retro games all makes for a great night. def going to be coming here more often.
I'm terrible at Paper Boy. Â I don't remember being this bad at it, but I am.
New part of West 7th area. Â As others have said, it's easy to miss. Â Covered patio out front with the huge Jenga ought to let you know you're in the right place, though. Â Inside is a little dim, but lit up just enough that you can see the games and taps.
The beer list here was much better than I expected. Â There were great options from local breweries as well as some nice imports. Â Maredsous 8 was on and that made me happy.
The games are a nice line-up. Â They function about as well as you'd expect. Â Huge Jenga is fun.
I apparently grew up playing the wrong kind of Washer Toss. Â This bean bag thing just wasn't cutting it for me. Â The flight pattern is all wrong. Â They flop into place. Â There's no backboard, which means no leaners. Â They're also not washers, so there's no leaners. Â Eventually, I learned to dominate the bean bag, but I sure miss washers.
Fair warning. Â Projectile attacks in the Street Fighter 2 box bounce around the screen. Â It makes it pretty hard to dodge. Â Really hard.
