Worst service ever. I made it pretty simple for my server to get a pretty decent tip seeing as how ive been a server for years. I sat myself outside and waited to be greeted. The one thing i will give her is that she was somewhat prompt at greeting me. I ordered a miller light draft with a lime and already had my id out for her to check. Then i proceeded to order my sandwich with cheddar instead of swiss and after writing that down she replied, "so, swiss cheese?". I said "no, cheddar." Then she asked "was that a bud light you ordered?" To which i replied, " no, a miller light draft with a lime". I was a little worried at this point.. After waiting a few minutes the manager brought me a miller light bottle. I again said "i ordered a miller light draft with a lime" thinking "how hard is this?!?" to which he went back in a started messing around on the computer right in front of me, totally disregarding my drink order. Then my server came out yet again with a miller light bottle but this time with a lime. I for the third time told her draft only to watch her talk to her manager for several mintues at the computer that was 10 yards in front of me. Needless to say, their give a fucks are broken and i wont be coming back.

We had a good time. The food was above par with other similar restaurants, service was quick and friendly. We had an excellent burger, and a pretty darn decent beef dip sandwich. The menu is very reasonably priced.

PS Don't order onion rings as a $7-ish appetizer. Order them as a side dish for only $1.99.

This place gets the Possum Seal of Approval.

This place has been a solid spot to watch football and basketball with friends. There are nearby sports bars that have an edge on TV's (like Frankie's), but Boomer Jacks always has enough room and you actually have a shot at getting service on big game nights (unlike Frankie's). Wait staff is hit or miss in terms of attentiveness and courtesy. Food is on the good end of bar food, but I always seem to have a coupon and probably wouldn't pay full price. Drink specials are good, but the beer selection is limited. I like the place.
