Barley's Taproom & Pizzeria

Spacious but cozy, good pizza and a great beer selection with flights offered.  I could have hung out here for hours and gone back the next night.

Easily one of the best slices I have had in my life. Thin style, great portion size and fresh tastes to die for. Mine was mushroom and tomatoes, no meat needed for this beaut. Hers a simple cheese and it didn't disappoint. Didn't take long to get a threesome of slices around lunchtime either, which was a bonus.

We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly- not in a cheesy server sort of way but genuine, down-to-earth small town mantra kind of way. Walked us through several of their tasty tap offerings, checked on us routinely and was simply a pleasure to be around, adding to our Barley's experience exponentially.

Definitely will be stopping back at Barley's on any return trip to Asheville.

BEST cheese slice I've had n a while and a fun atmosphere to match! The slices are HUGE. I ordered 2, but probably should have stuck with the 1. Garlic bread is delicious as well!
