Chef Mo's Restaurant & Bar

We Googled to find a restaurant near the movie theater we just left and found Chef Mo's.  What a find!  You have to enter from the back and it's storefront is less than imposing, but once we found it, we were so pleased to find a warm, welcoming atmosphere inside. I'm not much of a gourmet and my husband is a much more adventurous eater, but we both enjoyed our meal.  The waiter was friendly and Mo came over and spent some time with us as well.  Try them out and if you're as pleased as we were, pass the word around -- tasty, creative American fare at reasonable prices.

As always - fantastic food and service. The spinach phyllo lasagna was out of this world - so light with a tangy chili red sauce, really delish! The grouper special with a mole sauce was also wonderful, and presentation was enticing. Paired with a great bottle of Argentine malbec, we were more than satisfied with everything.

This place was excellent. Food and service were both great, and Chef Mo came out to say hello (he's very charming and friendly). The restaurant itself is quite lovely and has beautiful art on the walls done by a local artist. I can't recommend it enough.
