My First negative review on here, unfortunately.   It was a Friday night a little before 6 When we arrived at the tavern,  and the young hostess told us the wait would be 15-20 minutes.  An HOUR AND A HALF later,  our buzzer FINALLY started going off.  My husband handed it to the hostess, and she confusedly asked, "What's your last name?"  We told her.  She then asked, "party of four right?"  We told her the same thing we said an hour AND A HALF ago, "party of two."  After another five minutes or so of the host and hostess running around, the host FINALLY sat us down to our table - WITH FOUR MENUS.    I, as politely as I could muster at this point, made it clear there were just two of us.  We then sat down and opened the menu - which included less than 7 entrees, all over priced.  At this point, my husband and I were ferociously hungry and extremely irritated, so we left and ate somewhere else.  Such poor service from such a high priced restaurant!

Everything at Biltmore is top notch and this place was no different. We sat at the bar and had a really delightful meal. The calamari (which I usually don't like) was sensational! The bacon and beer almonds were wonderful. I wasn't crazy about the fish in the fish and chips but the fries were delish. We also ordered the soup which my GF thought tasted like progresso. I would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Great, casual place in Biltmore with delicious food and drinks!

Came here twice during our time at Biltmore and sat at the bar. We had great service from the bartender, Scott. He was knowledgeable and friendly and you could tell he really like working at Cedric's.

On our first visit we stopped in for drinks and appetizers. We shared the ham and cheese fondue. It was to die for! So amazing and not greasy at all. I had one of their specialty drinks. It was champagne with a Saint Germaine soaked sugar cube. Delish! There was live music provided by a woman playing the guitar. She was great and added to the cool, casual atmosphere.

The next afternoon we stopped back in for lunch. I had the salad special which was grilled steak over mixed greens, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. with a chipotle ranch dressing. The salad was served with their warm pretzel rolls with mustard butter. Very interesting and tasty. At lunch I had another specialty cocktail. You can't go wrong with any of the specialty drinks here.

I wouldn't hesitate to come here again next time we are in Biltmore. I loved the atmosphere, staff, food, and drinks! As a dog lover, I also loved that it was named after the Vanderbilt's dog and their are photos of him all over. Very cute.
