My boyfriend lives for breweries, so we headed here for our one night in Asheville. He loved the beer that he tried- Shiva. I had a "wino" cocktail that had old hop flavorings in it, and it was pretty good! There was a large outdoor patio and we got the cheeseburger pizza and it was decent. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it didn't seem to be all that much different than the typical "hipster" brewery that I've seen 100 other times.
Review Source:Popped in here during our Asheville beer tour, self guided that is, and found the place to be pretty decent. Â Looking over the other reviews I see that this is a pretty popular place and our visit proved that to be true.
Tons of patio area to be enjoyed here and the interior isn't half bad either, altough a little bit plain jane for me. Â The beers were great but I didn't leave there with a WOW factor or anything memorable. Â That's not to say the staff weren't great and polite as could be. Â Very friendly atmosphere beyond anything else for me.
I'd go back for sure.
Pizza was very well executed with an environment suitable for pretty much every age group. Â From giant size connect 4 to corn hole everything was nicely setup outside with plenty of space. Â Food came out fast and service was pretty much on point. Â Love the picnic tables.
Highly recommend the Biltmore & Funky Chicken pizzas specifically.
