My office has been coming here off and on for years for lunch. Â In the past it's been fine, but today we find that there's been a change and not for the better. Â Food quality has gone WAY down. Â First we noticed that portion sizes all around had shrunk. Â These weren't small lunch versions--these were the same prices as always.
Second, and this is huge, they have apparently changed ingredients because what we got ( on a table of 11 people, so good sampling size) was crappy stale pasta, watery flavorless red sauce, and cheap meats clearly frozen in a prepared state.
You're paying easily a 400% markup on every plate here, and that's being conservative. Â Avoid.
My favorite restaurant salad is here. The Granny Smith Apple Salad. It has just the right mix and amount of complementary veggies, fruit, cheese and greens. The waiter, Frank, was exceptional. He assisted us in choosing a better than okay bottle of wine. He even gave us the name to take home. I can't wait to buy that bottle! He recommended the special to my date who thoroughly enjoyed the recommendation. He had a filet topped with crab. It was perfectly prepared.
