First time here tonight, I ordered the meat lasagna with garlic bread... 100% win! Nice portions and more importantly the flavors were excellent. I can see this being our dinner a few times a month going forward. Cant wait to try the pizza next. Owner is really kind and friendly also. Total package. Highly recommend.
Review Source:Pizza is the worst in Gurnee and surrounding areas. Â While the toppings were plentiful, the crust was tough and flavorless. Â Eggplant parm and chicken tenders was cooked to death. Â Ended up tossing most of it out. Â I had heard it was supposed to be just like and or related to LaRosa's in Skokie. Â Not even in the same league. Â Don't expect them to last very long. Â I am one and done.
Review Source:Bella Rosa is not bad. I can name a few other pizza places in Gurnee that are bad. I would give it a 3.5 but can't do half stars. Ordered two pizzas and an order of the Italian wings. Got a large mush, sausage, pep and a medium pep and sausage. Both were Skokie style. The crust was crisp on the edges, undercooked in the center. The saving grace was the sauce. The sauce is a mild sauce and isn't spiced up. It's a sweeter sauce. I liked it. The toppings were ok but mushrooms were small as they shrink during cooking. To sum it up, pizza was alright but wasn't blown away, if the crust was crisp throughout, I'd be happier. The wings were good sized and were good but need some dipping sauce with them. I'd order from them again but wasn't my favorite pizza in the world. This is a new business so hopefully they will work out any kinks. Support local businesses so give then a try.
Review Source:Had the Skokie style pizza with sausage. Â The cheese is the best I have ever had (and lots of it)! Â They also watch the little details with the nice mesh spacer under the pizza so that it doesn't stick to the box when you're trying to get a piece out! Â Wish we had one where I live!
Review Source:If you have a taste for card board, this is your place. Â It's amazing that this place can actually produce a pizza with zero taste, but somehow they managed to do it. Â With Kaisers right down the street, you would have to be insane to waste your money at this place. Â Just my opinion. Â -----Added post review: Â You can see the "professional response" you will receive from the restaurant when you write a review. Â They take feedback well....Not
