This was a solid spot for drinks and good food!  First time here and I think I will be back.  Bartender was good making my rare drinks and very friendly.  Food was good and came out in a good timing.  Devore is nice a great spot to sit at bar and catch a game.  Overall differently worth trying.

Wow....I was very satisfied. The location does not scream what you will experience inside. I read the reviews and I was not disappointed. I was happy with the service, happy with the food, and plenty of choices for drinks. It was all priced very well. The vibe was also friendly and low key...

If you get an opportunity to skip the madness across the street (Galleria Mall) and want a great spot to eat lunch, dinner or have a drink ... check this place out.

A delightful lunch with a delightful server who shared all sorts of good info about Blue Sky Tower Grill, like Happy Hour, all about their martini options (10 ounces, with names like Creamsicle Dream, Banana's Foster, Key Lime Pie, Butterscotch Truffle). There's a martini club and a martini of the week, which is 20% off.

He also offered that they can make any dish vegetarian, which is a consideration for our vegetarian dining partner.

And there's a special entree every night for $8.99 from 4 p.m. until they're gone. Monday is meatloaf with two sides, Tuesday is chicken pot pie, Wednesday and Saturday are 8 oz. sirloin steak with two sides, Thursday is chicken and waffles, and Friday is a pasta special. Who can beat that?

We shared the smoked salmon appetizer ($11.99): a really generous portion of smoked salmon filet served with diced red onions, capers, diced hard boiled egg and toasted minibagels(?) Whatever those toasted things were, they were perfect and soooo crunchy!

This was a meal all by itself -- even sharing among three of us. We had leftovers that I got. It was quite a large appetizer.

Two of us opted for "deconstructed" gyros -- gyros without pita. Man alive, were they good. The tzatziki was especially thick and flavorful. Everything was in perfect proportions: meat, tzatziki, onion, tomato, lettuce and feta. And the feta serving was nicely generous. Who needs a pita??

For the side, she got sweet potato fries. I got cottage cheese.

Our other dining partner got a Reuben, which was huge and thick. He opted for tater tots as his side, which was a huge portion, too.

Service was spot-on. The food was fabulous. I had to-go vessels -- one for the salmon, etc., and one for the gyro and cottage cheese. At least one more meal!

@ RO...Funny how someone that admits to never having been can have so much to say!!!

We've been going to Blue Sky for over a year now and have found the spot to be an enjoyable change among the corporate chains and dingy hole in the walls on Brentwood.  The food is fantastic and the service is absolutely impecable!!!  Its rare that you go to a place where you see the same staff on a repeated basis...its nice.  They are so welcoming and friendly...always remembering your name and what youre drinking.  So , from someone who HAS ACTUALLY STEPPED FOOT INTO THE PLACE AND HAD THE FOOD ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS...ITS AMAZING...ALWAYS A GOOD TIME!!!  The MARTINI LIST is awesome!!  And they even have a Martini Club!!!  Its the perfect happy hour or late night spot!  Before you make a decision based on someone else's stupidity...check the place out...i can guaruntee that you will love it!!!

Great restaurant with tremendous food and service at a very fair price. Make sure you check out the martini list, it's incredible!  Not often the owners of a restaurant make rounds to check that everyone is happy. They were so polite. Could not of been more happy.  We will be back.

If someone did not tell you where Blue Sky Tower Grill was located, you'd never find it. It is so off the beaten path of Brentwood, that you'd drive by and not even notice that it excised.  It sets across from the Galleria in the main level of that tall dark skyscraper known as the University Club Tower.

I had just gotten my haircut at Mitchell James and my stylist was telling us about BSTG's good Happy Hour and salads. So we thought we'd give them a try since they're right next door to The Boulevard.

It was the final night of the playoffs so we were wanting something quick and light.  The menu seemed to have a large variety, but we focused on the salads and choose; Fried Chicken and Cobb. As an appetizer we went with Truffle Fries, to balance out the healthiness of salads.

The Truffle Fries were good, but a little limp. I would have enjoyed them more if they were crispier. Both salads were served in huge bowls and had a nice presentation.
The amount of toppings in both were plentiful. My Cobb had a huge amount of Blue Cheese that almost overpowered the other ingredients.  The SO's  Fried Chicken Salad was huge and he said the chicken was flavorful. The salads are so BIG, that if you get an appetizer, two people could share one salad.

Their ambiance was overpowering for me. The colors were to bright as were the lights. Our waiter was friendly, but neglected to tell us the nightly specials. Once we had eaten and he was taking the order from the table next to us, he told them about a Meatloaf Special. I admit we went in wanting salads, but both us would have been tempted away with meatloaf. I think that will be my next new Yelp list, "Meatloaf".

Looking at their Martini selection, I think I'll revisit for a Happy Hour and see how happy they can make me.

So yes, the carrot cake is very good and moist, when they have it.

Here is my biggest concern: it's located in the entry foyer of a tall office building across from the Galleria, yet they had only 5 customers at 12:45 on a weekday. Should have been the "big tip-off."

So I order what I think should be this great Grilled Cheese ("The Ultimate Grilled Cheese"). Swiss, American, Cheddar, pepperjack, bacon, and tomato on parmesan sourdough. If you like 4 slices of half-melted cheese and 1 strip of bacon on partially toasted bread, then this is for you. Me, not so much.

Similarly, the Sloppy Joe with Blue Sky's "Signature sweet and tangy recipe" is all sweet, no tangy, and no sloppy.

They did do an OK job with the fresh sliced potato chips, but then they also have frozen pre-packaged tator-tots available. I mean, Seriously!

It's a good-looking place, but the food could be so much better.

This place easily replaces Houlihan's in Brentwood as my new go-to happy hour location in the central corridor. The martini menu was impressive and the adorable bartender rocked out my gin martini. It was perfection! My SO was super pleased with the draft collection too, lots of local brews.

We ordered the chicken wings as an appetizer, they were only $5 and you get SO MUCH FOOD. Wow! The sauce was right on time:  a blend of barbeque and buffalo. Sweet, tangy and spicy.

The nachos were okay, but not my thing. They came on fresh, home made yummy chips but were covered in a strange sloppy Joe beef mixture. Good food, just not my style. Don't get me wrong, I still ate them!

At one point, someone in the kitchen jumped behind the bar and made my 2nd martini for me. It was almost green from olive brine, so I had to be "that girl" and send it back. They were super sweet about it and remedied the situation asap. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the food!

If you're looking for a new place that's got a beyond full bar, and a great menu, Blue Sky is the place to go.

I had friends who always commented on going to the Winghaven location and I found out that they had this location which is closer to me that I tried the other night with a girlfriend.

We met before the Muny and it took us some time to go over the martini menu.  We noted a few favorites to try but we wanted to soak up the water before we were outside the rest of the night.  We both have a thing for soft pretzels so we started off with that as the appetizer.  Be prepared to share!!

My friend ordered her burger selection with tater tots (you don't see that on the menu often) and I ordered a wrap with their fries.  Delish!!  We both finished every bite of everything and were very satisfied.

Our waitress was extremely nice but she didn't come around much once we had ordered our main food.

Their location is prime but if you're not paying attention you might miss it.  Its located in the tall tower across from the Galleria.  That tower has been there forever and the restaurant is in the right hand corner, next to the parking lot and garage.

They do take reservations and they do recommend them because they get packed fast.

If you haven't been, you must try!  I know we'll be back!

This unassuming little-known restaurant exists right near the bustle of the Galleria.  The inside feels similar to a Houlihans.  Food is traditional American fare... sandwiches, pizza, wraps, etc.  I tried the burger and buffalo chicken wrap.  The burger was very good... but it's along the lines of steak & shake, or Carls... the smashed down thin pattys that cook on a flat grill and sit in their grease.  My burger had two of these little patties on sourdough buttered bread.  I liked it... but it was a bit to greasy to fully enjoy.  The buffalo chicken wrap had tons of flavor, but the chicken was a bit dry... like it was pre-cooked and left in a holding pan.  I loved that they have tots as a side.  However, these too were a bit greasy.

This is a great choice for a casual meal or to have a nice cocktail. The space has two levels with the bar and some dining booths on the lower level and dining tables on the upper level. I think you an also have large parties on the upper level as well.
The bar - Their claim to fame is the menu of martinis. There were 60 (!) listed on the menu when we visited that range from traditional to way out there. My favorite (so far) is the blue sky. They have started a "club" where if you drink at least 52 of them over time they will put your name on a plaque above the bar. So now I finally have a goal in life. The appetizers are very good. We like the hummus plate but have also had the pretzels. Servers are knowledgeable and friendly.
Dining - We have decided that the Blue Sky Burger is the best burger in town. Period. Keep your O'Connells, White Castle, assorted casinos, this is it. Two patties of hand shaped beef with cheese, pickles, and house sauce. Paired with the fries served in a tin cup it is Nirvana on a plate. Our other favorite is the flatbread pizza. We had the Blushing Buffalo and it was spicy but good. And for dessert, the home made gooey butter cake should be on the National Registry of Historic foods. The flavors change based on the whim of Patti, but it is sooooooo good!
Prices for food are quite reasonable and they have really nice happy hour and late night happy hour specials. This is our "go-to" choice for casual drinks/dining near Clayton.

So glad they open up a place in this building. I use to come here 4 years and when I had to come back for a visit, I'm just glad I didn't walk out of the building for lunch.  Tasty sandwiches and I will come back again.

This is officially my bf and my fav place.  OMG we have been sneaking off to drink here (I'm still a huge fan of my fav wine bar in Ferguson) because its closer to his home, which we have been hanging out at on the weekends. The spinach artichoke bread is to DIE FOR!!!!  Dang! And the wings are good too. And the drinks? Man oh man.....the Kristina's Kiss was my fav until I tasted the Tootsie Pop. That one had me going and after four or five, it finally creeped up on me and when we got home, I was out like a light, LOL.  The staff is so friendly and I guess the young lady remembers us enough from our visits here each week that now she always speaks when we walk in. The guy behind the bar is friendly as well and he makes the best drinks.  This is a great place for date night or hanging with the girls.  So go have a good drink or martini...at least they know how we like ours.....LOL.

We went to the new one across from The Galleria, and it was amazing! It was Mardi Gras weekend and we were super hungover! I ordered a cheese and bacon omelet and hubby ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. They were both so good, it tasted like we made them at home! Fresh squeezed OJ and bloody mary fixings all setup and ready to go! Unfortunately we discovered this right before we left and was unable to go back, but it was very memorable and delicious! FYI, they only do breakfast on Sundays.

This is becoming one of our favorite local places to eat!  Across the street from the Galleria on Brentwood Blvd near the 64-40 & 170 intersection, this location is quite convenient.  Because it's located in the base of a tower full of mostly doctor's offices, there is tons and tons of parking.

Every server we have had so far has been outstanding!  Including management who has visited our table.  The customer service here has been consistently good!

This time, we had the Hummus as an appetizer.  With 1/2 price appetizers during Happy Hour, which has a generous run from 4 to 7pm, it only cost ~$3.75.  We received a huge portion of hummus, which was good, with spindles of long crackers emerging from the hummus (see the picture) and three little spoons of added flavor in the way of Olive Tapenade, Roasted Red Peppers, and Pesto.  The Pesto was my fave!

Then for the main entree, I had the salmon dinner entree.  The salmon was pretty decent, but I would recommend adding a little more of the sauce to keep the salmon from appearing too dry.  The sauce was very good, and the salmon was a good-sized portion.  The salmon came atop a potato-leek casserole, which was really, really good, and I'd actually be tempted to ask for this side dish again if I order something else next time, just so I can have it again.  The green beans that also came with it were fresh and seasoned nicely.

Large bar and beer selection.  Again, Happy Hour also meant my House Wine was 50% off, so my glass of Merlot was only $3.50.

This was my 2nd dinner here, and we will definitely be coming more often.  Please add a couple more dinner entrees to choose from!  We will order them!

I love my mom to death, but sometimes I swear we're not related.

I'm a food-blogger/Yelper who eats chicken feet, cow tongue, and pig intestines. For fun.

She's a picky eater who could probably live off of baked chicken and macaroni and cheese for the rest of her life. Oh, and thin crust pizza. With no pizza sauce. Weird. Maybe we are related after all?

Anyway, when it came to planning a dinner out with mom, I knew I had my work cut out for me. My only requirement? No chains. Her requirement? A restaurant with 'normal' food on the menu. Nothing too fancy. My mom is a 'meat and potatoes' kinda chick, and I respect that.

I've been wanting to try Blue Sky Tower Grill for quite some time, and when I checked out their menu online, I knew that this would be a place where both of us would be satisfied.

I wasn't sure if Blue Sky would be crowded, so I made a reservation. Turns out it wasn't necessary -- it was pretty dead at 6pm on a weeknight.

Blue Sky has happy hour M-F from 4-7pm, which involves half-off appetizers and drink specials. We took advantage by ordering the chicken wings as an appetizer.

Hmm. We weren't a fan of these at all. The sauce was nice, but the chicken wings themselves had a fatty, slimy outer layer that was disgusting. Take notes from The Post, Blue Sky! Your chicken wings suck.

Moving on. I ordered the BBQ Burger. They're flat top grilled, which makes them thin like a steak n shake burger. It also means that you can't customize the doneness of your burger. Well done for everyone! Meh.

The burger itself wasn't bad. It was juicy and pretty flavorful, and I enjoyed the BBQ sauce. It was also huge!

I ordered garlic parmesan fries to go with my burger. These were definitely the best part of my meal. Crispy, flavorful, and greasy. Perfect.

My mom went with the Killer Club: roasted turkey, ham, bacon, tomato, lettuce, and swiss with pesto mayo served on whole grain wheat toast. She thought it was okay, but wasn't crazy about it.

Service at Blue Sky was friendly and super attentive. Prices were also super reasonable.

I'm not sure that I'll be rushing back to Blue Sky Tower any time soon. Honestly, the food was decent, but nothing blew me away.

We came for happy hour and boy did we leave happy.

Place was a little hard to find...it is located inside the newer building (I think? Or is it the old TV station tower?) that's not right on Brentwood. Look out for their lighted sign on the road that signals where to turn off. There were ample parking, both right next to the restaurant, across the street from it, and inside the attached garage.

Half off appetizers - delicious! We had the hummus, the sweet potato fries, the wings, artichoke dip, and gosh I don't even remember what else. We washed them down with some $3+ house wine that didn't taste awful for being cheap. The appetizers were HUGE, especially for just $4 a pop. The place was modern and airy, with big tall windows and a second floor with more tables.

This is my new favorite happy hour meetup place!

What's not to like? Parking was easy.  Cool looking interior.  Friendly and fast service.  The food was good.  I looked over the drink menu, and there was some really interesting stuff on it.  The only drawback for me was the lack healthy food options on the menu, but I'm looking forward to checking it out again on a happy-hour girl's night for appetizers and cocktails.

Hold the artichoke please. Ok, honestly I'm a complete artichoke lover, but this was out of control! The biggest pieces of artichoke you've ever seen! It was hard to taste ANYTHING else. And out of the entire experience, yes this is what sticks out in my mind the most.

But let me start from the beginning. We walked in and I really liked how the place looks. There's a clear "bar" section as well as a clear "restaurant" section. I wanted to be a bit more cozy so we opted for a booth in the dining area. Now that we did, I wish we would have sat at a table in the bar section. If I remember right, they have lots of windows on that side. We sat in a 2 person booth and it ended up being way to small by the time our food was on the table.

We started with the spicy spinach artichoke. It is basically a piece of bread with spinach and artichoke dip on top. The bread tasted like dough, not flavorful or good. And the artichokes were so huge and overpowering it was hard to enjoy any of it! I did like the tiny taste of "creamy spinach" I got. I probably would never order this again.

I opted for a wedge salad and a pizza but the waitress said "the wedge salad is huge, are you sure you want that?" Well, now that you mention it, no! So instead I went with a Cesar salad. It was completely drenched in Cesar dressing. Yuck.

I got the pesto chicken and artichoke pizza. Another mistake. The artichokes were once again huge and overpowering. The pesto was ok and the chunks of chicken were huge. Won't order it again.

My husband got the patty melt and loved it. He specifically commented on the caramelized onions with the house sauce saying it was perfection. He also ordered the truffle fries and was so excited about them. He said they lacked flavor and I agreed.

So if this was my experience, why would I be back? Well, because I think this place has potential. The bar is huge and I had a cosmo that was absolutely awesome! They have a huge selection of beer as well and after reading the reviews on yelp, it sounds like they have a great happy hour! I will give it another try and order something very different when I do.

Feeling happy for happy hour? Get here!

Although the awesome nightly specials are probably to get people in the door since this place is relatively new, I hope they are permanent!! Happy hour from 4-6:30 daily with 1/2 price apps, $5 gourmet pizzas, and great drink specials. They also have a late night special EVERY WEEKNIGHT 7-close, with my favorite being Tuesday ladies night with $5 martini's!! YES MAM!!

Enough with the cocktails, the food is great too! I came here for happy hour once and lunch once and was impressed by my food choices both times. Try the roasted garlic hummus, pesto chicken and artichoke pizza (my fave), and  the avocado chicken club. The martini selection is wonderful and I recommend Kristina's kiss.

Service was spotty, but it did not bring down the experience either time. The servers were very nice, just a bit slow. There is no real patio, but 2 tables outside on the side of the building that are available. I really really hope they invest in a bigger patio. If so, I will be in some real trouble keeping my weeknight drinking to a minimum!

    I will be back again...tomorrow actually!! ;)

I like Blue Sky Tower Grill so much I was there twice in a 13 hour time frame. The location is super convenient across from the Galleria, and the selection at the bar can't be beat! I really enjoy the mezzanine seating above the bar. It allows you to not be in the heart of the bar action, but still know and feel what's going on. I've sampled some appetizers, loaded nachos and chicken wings which are really yummy and had the BLT Wedge Salad which was also very delicious. The meat on the loaded nachos is almost sweet, adding nice flavor in combination with all the other toppings. There are definitely other things on the menu that I will definitely come back and try. I know they have food & drink specials daily and offer trivia a couple of nights a week as well! Stop by and check Blue Sky Tower Grill out!

Beautiful aesthetically, extremely well stocked bar and interesting menu plus great presentation was my lasting viewpoint.  ("The Tower" is the evil empire looking high-rise across from the Galleria).

I was working inside the building & saw this place just opened.  Security guard told me I needed to check the place out.

I walked in & sat at the black & grey stone bar top.  They also had a couple nice racks behind the bar- plus 30 (?) wines. With just 8 (?) drafts of beer... I was shocked with the range of selection.  Then I was given the selection of bottle beers ($3 craft beer Wednesday).  I had to look at the bar & must say- the alcohol selection was HUGE (presented as a "Martini Bar").

The bar area had many high tops & large TVs, but behind the bar was rows of very cool red booths.  On the mezzanine was other nice, but standard tables & chairs.  The layout was just cool.

I looked around and saw people enjoying some interesting looking dishes.  I ordered the $7.50 hummus w/ basil pesto, roasted red pepper & kalamata olive tapenade (late night menu was just appetizers & $13 flatbread pizzas).  I was happy (pic).

Along with some more standard food was items like "truffle tator tots", "truffle fries", Mussels, "Voodoo Shrimp", "Big Ass Fish sandwich" and Coffee rubbed steak.

I read that happy hour was M-F 4-7 with 1/2 price appetizers and $5 off the flatbread pizzas.  The drinks specials were just wells & Bud Light... I hope that changes, but standard prices were not bad.

I talked to the friendly manager & she said they are still working on the format for the week.  This Monday was trivia night.  Music is just for background ambience is the overall philosophy.

Wednesday  may be the night for me with $7 10 oz sirlion & roasted veggies & $3 craft beer.
