Not exceptional, but I would certainly go back.

The staff was all very friendly... kept the refills coming and always seeing if I needed anything.  If this was just a review on them it would be a higher rating.

The food was average.  I had some pancakes and an omelet (feta cheese, onions, ham), with a side of cinnamon-raisin toast, scrambled eggs and some peaches (sides were for the kid but I tasted them).  The omelet was pretty good (4 stars) but the pancakes were "meh".  They had a selection of different types of syrups (I only like maple if it is GOOD syrup, not the cheap stuff)... so that was a positive, but the blueberry syrup was just blue sugar syrup.  Come on, don't name your restaurant Blueberry Hill if you don't even offer really blueberry syrup!  Scrambled eggs were bland.  Peaches were canned, not fresh.

I would classify this place as a backup... somewhere to go if you just need an ok breakfast.  I won't be recommend it to family and friends though.... needs a improvement on the quality of food served to get into recommendation range.

Quick service. Our party of 12 was seated immediately on a Sunday at 10:00 am.  Food was 4 star, very good for breakfast.  Variety and large portions. Restaurant very clean and table service fantastic. Independent owners care about their business.

If it's about the food, it's breakfast - what can go wrong? Located right next to the highway exit ramp. Clean, pleasant atmosphere. Coffee is good - a little weak but hot in a small enough mug to keep it that way.
Omelette came out fluffy and well done as I asked. Skimpy with the filling of ham and cheese. Grits were hot with plenty of butter and not watery.
Staff were WONDERFUL. Friendly, not hovering, quick with a refill and a pleasant chat. It was 6:15am - three tables with one person per table so they were eager to please.
    The lack of stars:
4 televisions all tuned to FoxNews. Some people like that, about half the population. Maybe it works in Indiana, but why roll the dice on half your potential return customers? I said something to my server, she shrugged - "That's Nick for ya".
You can't get French Toast. It's Freedom Toast. It's been 10 years and you're still bitter? Same with Freedom Fries. Let it go dude. Just above the "Freedom Toast" are Belgium Waffles - You're OK with Brussels although they also opposed the invasion of Iraq.
I'm new in town.... and I will NEVER go back. I have that freedom to choose where I spend my money. Overtipped the server, it's not her fault.
