Bonefish Grill

Very disappointing with the food and services. We had a party there on Sunday, May 5th for seven people. The service was not good, in addition, two people had got a food poisoning. I called to the restaurant, and was told that the manager will contact me.  ...Still waiting for this call.  Obviously, the manager does not think that he needs to express at least his apologies.  I would not go to this restaurant again under any circumstantial  and would not recommend it to anyone.

We have found our favorite fish restaurant and it's Bonefish in Skokie! Tonight was our first visit and they did not disappoint. We made our reservations online, as simple as could be. The hostess was warm and welcoming, I'm sorry I didn't get her name.

Our server was Gabrielle and she was a sweetheart. Since we were first timers, she made some menu suggestions that served us well. The service was impeccable.

Don't pass up the Bang Bang Shrimp. I had the Ahi Tuna and my wife opted for Talapia with Mango Salsa. Both were delicious. We shared the Strawberry Shortcake for desert, more than enough for two.

The only downside for the evening was that the bartender doesn't know how to make a Southern Comfort Old Fashioned. I think we wound up with Southern Comfort Manhattan's on-the-rocks... close, but no cigar. Still, I hesitate to deduct a full star because everything else was superb. so deduct just a 1/2 star for that.

Bonefish Grill is a slick, noisy venue, with good, not great food, and good, not great service. Members of party enjoyed mussels, tilapia, trout, while this writer found the ahi tuna somewhat over-sauced and a bit sloppily plated.
