As others have stated I have also been eating La Rosa pizza my entire life. I grew up in Skevanston (yes it does exist) and La Rosa has always been my pizza measuring stick. Simply put, it is outstanding/excellent thin crust pizza. I moved away from the Chicago area several years ago, but I always seem to be to squeeze in a quick visit to the Golf and Crawford intersection.
La Rosa has been around for generations and my parents claimed to have enjoyed their first date together there in the mid '60s. I love to read comments about the lack of customer service/rudeness at LaRosa. Personally I always thought the quality of the pizza more than compensated for the kindness (or lack of it) of the workers. I have fond memories of learning some of my favorite "four letter words" and insults from Jimmy at La Rosa. It is nice to read that his son has carried on the tradition.
By far my favorite pizza place to order delivery from. Always fresh, lots of toppings and the delivery is super quick. Also, my driver always calls when he's close. It's a little pricier than other places, but it's not unreasonable and absolutely worth it. This pizza is delicious, I've ordered here from many times, I don't understand how they could get one single bad review! Very consistant!
