Meh
BnG was good but wasn't great in my opinion. Maybe it's all the hype leading up to it.
It's a smaller restaurant, you order from the cashier and take a seat. It's quick and efficient.
The bulgogi came with rice, kim chi, and cabbage with thousand island dressing. The meat had a good flavor and was thinly sliced. It was good and satisfied my craving but I've had better bulgogi with more bold flavor. The BnG burger was good but I wasn't a fan of the bun. Decent enough, not mind blowing. The fries were topped with cheese, bacon, and kim chi. Yummmmmm. Fries were so crispy and all the flavors meshed really well together. The Philly cheesesteak egg roll was also very good and is only available on the weekends. These four items ran us about $40.
UMAMI burger is where its at!! Its a taste I can not describe but the most unreal combination of flavors. Â As others have stated, the portions are big so its better to share :) Since moving to Chicago, I have tried many different kinds of cultural foods but this is definitely my favorite, an American delight mixed with Korean infusion, def. worth it to take the time to go all the way up North to finally try this delicious burger!
