Chipotle Mexican Grill

I ate here so many times as a Loyola student, and not only was the food delicious, but served up fast and by friendly employees. The burritos are my favorite thing to get here.

After hearing friends rave about this place all year, I finally found myself across the street from one just in time for dinner. The line was long--a good sign, and it moved quickly. I ordered pork carnitas corn flour tortilla tacos with a side of chips and guacamole. It was reasonably priced, quick, and perfectly portioned. The tacos were marvelous, flavorful, and fresh-tasting. The best part was the corn flour tortillas by far--so much better than flour! The guacamole was ok, a bit too smooth for my taste, and it could have used more lime juice. Altogether a pleasant experience, I look forward to returning for a legendary burrito.

Chipotle is good in a pinch...is it some place I would reccomend for authentic mexican food...probably not...but I like the idea that the food is fresh! The reason I give 2 stars for this location...there were several items that had run out. And, I had to ask for extra items to compensate for other things...but they begrudginly give it to you...smh! Will I ever visit again...if I need something in a pinch the chicken bowl is good...I will say this I love chipotles guacamole and chips...but this location...the serving tray must not have been the right temp because the guac was turning brown...how do they just let that ride? They could easily be a 3 or even 3.5 stars if they got it together.
