The Greatest BIG City in the world.

I could say nothing else and that would be good enough but..............
I am a YOUNG 53 years Old :) and born and raised here. I lived here through my mid 20`s. Unfortunately i got a job that had me travel to other cities to FIX what their locals could not about their underperforming stores. Anyhow... I spent 2 years in NYC,LA,San Fran and Dallas and almost 3 years n Tampa and 1 1/2 in Draino Errrrr RENO nevada. Also spent almost 1 yr in Philly.
As you can see, wheni say Chicago is the best i say it with experience backing it up. I have lived or been almost everywhere from the West to the South to the East and North. Big,Small and Medium sized towns and there is Nothing in this country as great as Chicago. They have what NYC has with less stress and less A**HOLES (sorry it`s true) LA? Forget it. It`s the worst. Plastic People, living on plastic cards hoping to make a Plastic career for themselves and usually failing. Sad really. It`s like a BIG BIG suburb. If you like it there you would LOVE Naperville :) Except Naperville is cleaner with nicer/REAL people. Tampa is a Joke of a "BIG" City. Its kind of dirty and dead Nothing really there, Philly has it`s cool places and people but unlike Chicago you never feel safe. The stats show that also. Violent crime happens all over those cities above much more frequently than Chicago. In Chicago, there are like 6 "Hoods" that are VERY BAD but the rest.... Mostly safe. In places like LA,NYC and Philly, the Violent crime stretches the whole city and not just once in awhile either.
Reno.... It`s what you would expect from a small to medium sized Dusty city that has legalized Prostotution,Gambling and Free drinks. A Bunch of drunks and drug addicts waiting to "ROLL" the next drunk or addcit in worse shape then they are. Ser4iously though a bunch of Broke A** people from gambling and the other "Attractions" they have there. San Fran looks Beautiful at night but go downtown during day (Not the wharf) and Blah. Has Real nice areas outsice of the downtown area but try affording to live in them :) After the years i spent in Dallas, I am still trying to figure out the city. I have no idea what it`s about. A FEW Rich people that own the whole place:) Cowboys? Not sure. The closest to Chicago by Far us NYC. I liked my time there. Could not and would not live there because it was too crazy when you can live in Chicago for cheaper and without all the NUTS but it was a cool place.
Chicago.... It has everything you could ever want and most of it is a short walk, short cab ride, Short water taxi Ride, Short Train ride, Short car drive, Shore Bus ride etc. It has all the pro Sports, sometimes wit 2 teams each, Cool stadiums and as you can see lots of public trans options. It hasd Great Pub/Bar and nightclub nightlife. Great Arenas and clubs for Every band under the sun to play at. Ocean Michigan Errr Lake michigan and the Beaches, GREAT shopping everywhere and not just the Mag Mile. Awesome architecture (Best in the business) Great tours, the Chicago River, Awesome and one of a kind Parks like Millenium, Grant,Lincoln,Marquette and on and on. It has the Number 1 rated Restaraunt in the world along with the Best Food anywhere all the way around. The #2 rated Art Museum along with World Class Museums of Science,History,Medical, wars etc etc etc Horse racing,Nas car racng, Boat Racing, Lollapalooza and about a hundred other Music festivals. Taste of Chicago. The beautiful Bridges of the city, The still imprving River walk, Museum Campus. If yuor into Fast go Karts, Pool, Video Games etc etc there is all of that too. You can take elevators up to the top of some of the tallest (Including the tallest building in the western hemisphere) in the world. There is so much more bbut i assume you get the point by now. :)
At 53 yrs old i probably (IF LUCKY) only have anther 15-20 years left and i want to enjoy them the best i can. I will stay in this City and do just that!!!!!!!
Sorry if this was long and mispelled etc. It has nothing to do with age i just can`t type as fast as i used to :) Ok, it does have to do with age.

I worked at three different locations during my 10 years in Chicago, and they were all in River North, so I know it well. This neighborhood, once a warehouse district, boasts the largest concentration of art galleries and restaurants in Chicago. The original Maggiano's Little Italy and Corner Bakery are here on the corner of Clark and Grand, and just down the street are all three of Chef Rick Bayless' Mexican food places, Frontera Grill, Topolobampo and Xoco. For music, House of Blues and Blue Chicago are here, and for clubs there's Excalibur, where I once attended an unforgettable double bat mitzvah party, and the popular Sound Bar. Walking distance to the Mag Mile and the Loop, although I highly recommend taking the Brown Line for a gorgeous sightseeing trip around the latter...just hop on at the Merchandise Mart after grabbing a pizza at Lou Malnati's, or a glass of wine at Bin 36.
