As much as I dislike when people say, "it is what it is," that expression applies to China Kitchen. This hole-in-the-wall American Chinese place serves cheap but decent take-out in large portions. And by cheap, I mean that the generous lunch special is still under $6, after tax, and it includes an entree, rice, an eggroll, and a can of soda. Either due to MSG or sheer volume, I am always sleepy after eating China Kitchen. But I've never encountered sketchy chicken here, and I'm very fussy about that. I recommend either garlic or sesame chicken.
