Chocolate Martini Bar

Recently hosted my book club meeting at the Chocolate Bar.  Friendly, helpful servers, good food, excellent specialty drinks and desserts.  They handled our group of ten very well.  Great place for a group.

My friend and I went to have a girls night out and had a wonderful time. I feel like our server was possibly new, but he did a pretty decent job. I ordered a lemon drop martini and she had the raspberry chocolate martini which were both delicious! We did need to move to the outside because it was quite cold inside, where we were then apparently interrupting a party of fly's (but what else to you expect when you eat outside). I ordered the apple and goat cheese salad which didn't have a lot of either of those, but it was rather large and delicious with the poppy seed dressing! My friend got the California Wrap which she said was pretty good, but the sweet potato fries were amazing!

We ended the night by splitting a chocolate lava cake...Oh My Gosh! Super tasty! Kinda want to come back on Monday to get a manicure or Wednesday to get a massage :D

We were visiting my daughter in Louisville and decided to try this place. What a mistake. We were there for lunch and there were only 6 other people there. We ordered nachos which were the worst I have ever had. They just poured some chips out of a bag threw some cheese on them and put them in the micro wave. The cheese did not even melt. I ordered a grilled cheese and again the cheese was not even melted. Service was slow and the whole experience was bad. I would never go back. The best part of my meal was the water I had to drink.
