Good bartenders, plenty of TVs. Â I have enjoyed watching Saturday night playoff baseball here, I have enjoyed College Football Saturdays here, and I have just had a chat with the fam on a random night in a corner all our own. Â Food above average...they at least plate it like they make an effort which is nice. Â Burger and onion rinds were darm good. Â Private parking lot is key and free.Easy location to drive too, cant walk to from anywhere except the college.
Review Source:High expectations with low results. We were greeted and told we can sit anywhere which was vast since a majority of the people were watching the game. After some time our waitress came over and took our drink order and returned for our dinner order. While jotting down our choices she greeted fellow customers to the point where she excused herself and proceeded to talk to what appeared to be a regular customer of hers.
She came back and finished our order which included an alteration to a menu item's was not done upon arrival of our food. The food is very good, but the service could use some additional help. I would give this place another shot if I just stopped in for a beer  and some wings.
We have passed by a few times and kept in the back of our heads to try this place. Â Well we finally got the opportunity and we are thrilled that we did. Â We sat at the bar and ordered a few beers. Â They were poured right up to the rim and were $5 each. Â We ordered the bacon Mac & Cheese app $8, which was enough for 2 people to share. The bacon Mac & Cheese is delicious! Â We would go back just for that. The $1 tacos were also great!
Review Source:I go to grad school nearby and often go to the Clover after class or for a quick lunch. Â The food is absolutely fantastic, always fresh, yummy and fast. Â I love their sliders.
If you are fortunate to go there when Mark is working (the near 7 foot bartender) he is an absolute peach. Â Quick at service, wonderful personality, always have a good time when Mark is there.
I hadn't been to the Cloverleaf Inn since it was The Porch (so years, clearly). Â It was Christmas evening and one of my friends that I hadn't seen in a while asked me to meet her for a drink. Â We decided on Clover Leaf because it's close to where she lives and she was a little more tipsy than me!
I was really impressed with what the new owners did with the place; it's completely gutted and looks spectacular. Â They also enlarged the bar area and utilized some dead space that was previously used for an office or something. Â I really liked that they had McSorely's dark and light ales both on tap; you don't see things like that in Rockland. Â Also, they had a Dr. McGillicuddy's shot machine with original and root beer flavor. Â I'm not really into that, but a lot of people are. Â I obviously didn't try the food, but I'm assuming it's standard pub food.
One thing that should be noted though - it is 25+ to drink at this bar. Probably due to the fact that Dominican College is directly across the street and they don't want to deal with underage drunkards sneaking in and causing a ruckus.
