A fun neighborhood dive, beware the shots in test tubes (or not)!

Club Good Hurt is a nice twist on traditional dives. The first aide theme, and the nurse's uniforms that the wait staff wears add a bit of fun and a kitsch effect to what would otherwise be just a regular dive bar. Add some of the best local bands to this and you have a recipe for success. There are always different events so check that out before you just show up, since it may not be your cup of tea on that night. I prefer the reggae events.  Club Good Hurt is really chill and you get all kinds of people there depending on when you go. There isn't much drama, just a nice laid back vibe and music, and that's some pretty good medicine.

Only reason I come here is because a friends band plays here pretty often, otherwise don't think I would come to this place. It is in Mar Vista on Venice Blvd. Not sure why they almost always charge cover cuz it is never super packed but I guess they probably have to pay the bands?

It is dingy and divey but at least drinks are pretty cheap for LA. They have a stage and the dance floor is spacy and open, which is nice. Also have a pool table, but I have never used it.

Def not the spot to just hit up if you wanna go out but if you know someone who is playing it is ok.

I performed here earlier this month and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and very professional. The sound was actually really good and fit the size of the room - I'm not sure if the complaints about the sound are based on a previous sound system in this room of they were just having an off night. All of the bands and DJs sounded really good to me the night I was there.

Definitely a fun little venue to hit for a live show. Would definitely visit again if I was in the area and saw an artist I like was performing there.

This is one divey bar if I ever did see one. The theme is medical so some of the waitresses and bartenders are dressed as nurses. They have very little seating, a pool table and a medium space for dancing. And It's super dark in here!!!! I know it's a bar but I would like to be able to see where I'm stepping. The music that night was a few live bands, some of them were questionable as a music group but hey you do what you love I guess.

Drinks were good and reasonably priced and the bartenders tried to make whatever you asked for.

I'm not sure but i think the only thing this place invest in is hot nurse bartenders. Cause other than that . maybe their classes on seduction. But after that not much brother....not much. The place is to dark, if your single and want to go out and mingle and your eye sight is not the best....avoid this place. Its cool that it is easy to smoke that green godess in here but it is very dirty, like they party every day but hire maintenance once a week. Yea the drinks, remember those seductive classes they pay for their bartenders.... yea they pay off, what i thought was flirting was a $32.00 bill.....with no number.....she has a boyfriend lol.......the bands were ok, not my taste....to winy

Went to Good Hurt to see "New Spell" a favorite of mine.  It was a 4 band night, all good to better than good.  I love the casual neighborhood feel of Good Hurt.  Easy parking on Venice Blvd., modest cover, pleasant staff.

A nice touch is a glass sound wall between the bar and the stage.  You can actually have a conversation at the bar while the bands are playing.   They are listed in the ClubZoni Google app.

Could be better, but it is what it is. I like the bartender outfits.

I saw a couple of bands play here last week and the venue is great. They had good sound and lighting effects but you could still have a conversation.  These weren't 'dance' bands but there was a big open space where dancing would have been perfect.

The bar is off to the side from the music area. It's a small bar with decent prices.  They have all of their beers lined up on the wall behind the bartender but it's too dark to really read what they are. The bartenders are dressed like sexy nurses. At least, I think she was supposed to be sexy...it was a Wednesday so what can you expect on an off night.

Overall a good bar with a clever gimmick to get girls in short skirts getting you drunk.

The bands playing are surprisingly OK, but this place feels a bit... dirty.

The carpet, the seats, the atmosphere. It all just feels a bit TOO dive-y. Also I couldn't tell if there was a fog machine or the place was filled with illegal cigarette smoke. It just felt nasty and anus-y inside.

That said, drinks are cheap, and the bartenders are all smiles and boobs. There's no attitude from anybody, and it's easy to get your drink on (if that's all you're concerned with).

I just don't want to touch anything in this place. Not the seats, not the stripper pole in the middle of the room, not the bar-top, not the cups, nothing. Maybe boobs.

Wow. I used to live right by this place and always thought it looked trashy.
    I was right.
I had a friend who was playing a set last night so I sucked it up and went. It was bad news from the start.
They charged us a $5 cover and we were entering the bar at midnight. You're seriously gonna charge us $5 an hour before last call?
Ok, so we get in and immediately we can't tell whether we should get drinks or play laser tag. This place is a dark, dank, rundown laser tag place with a bar. That's what it feels like.
There's also a huge stripper pole in the middle of the dance floor that people were trying to climb on and each time I saw someone climb it I cringed with the thought of all the nasty things they just got on their hands after straddling a public stripper pole. Gross.
It was also d bag central here. Guys were creeps.
So as if this whole experience wasn't bad enough, I go to close out with the incredibly hot bartender (who wore a slutty nurse outfit under a neon sign reading "prescriptions" at the bar, talk about corny) to get a bill of $18. FOR TWO BEERS. I literally bought two beers. I was very confused so I tried to get the bartenders attention to inquire about my bill but she ignored me. This was the end of the night, everyone had left, so she was just going out of her way not to hear me directly behind her. When I get her attention and ask why my bill is so high, she says "your beers were $8 each, plus beer tax." $8 A BEER? BEER TAX? It really just felt like she over charged us and then tried to avoid it when we called her on it.
    Stupid.
OH! I also tried to get a shot of whiskey before closing out but couldn't because... THEY DON'T HAVE WHISKEY. Only tequila and vodka. What bar doesn't have whiskey?
It was a blessing in disguise cause lord knows I wanted to give that place more money.
The only redeeming quality was my friends show and that had nothing to do with the bar.

Basically, AVOID THIS PLACE. Unless of course you like hanging in a laser tag arena with no laser tag and a bar with no whiskey.

My band has played here twice. Once 6 years ago and again this past weekend. It has really improved within these past 6 years. Is it the most happening place in town? Doubt it. But is it a fun venue to see some local bands at...yes!

Nurses are definitely hot, management is cool, it's definitely dark....the bathrooms weren't bad. The people bitching about bathrooms must not go to small shows often or good hurt did an amazing deep clean because these bathrooms weren't bad at all. I've been to places where I won't even unzip my pants because I'm scared the stench alone will crawl up in me (worst bathroom ever was at Chain Reaction in Anaheim).

I had a couple of their specialty cocktails and definitely felt the effects (luckily after we played). I dig this place, it's unassuming, not far off the freeway, and great policies for smaller bands to play at.

If I was a local, would I pay to get in to drink? Probably not, but if I'm seeing a friend's band I wouldn't be opposed to go.

I've only been here a few times, and never been too impressed. It's dark inside, which I like.. and the bartneders are in nurse outfits, which is cute.... (you can even get a "shot" from them.. lol)... but besides that, not much going for this place.

They always have live music... that is way too loud! That's always a turn off for me. Oh and a cover? Some people get charged and some don't, seems kind of weird. Also gross bathrooms.. when I've gone anyway.

I'VE FINALLY FOUND IT! SMELLIEST BATHROOM IN NORTH AMERICA!

Came here for a friends' friend's band's gig. Weird little spot - the whole nurse theme, as  much as I love hoochie nurses, gets kind of lost.  My friends and I agreed it felt more like a combination of new wave strip club and a dentists' office, which is a little awkward. Drinks were weak but beers are cheap ($4).  The bartenders were actually sweet, in addition to being cute.

OK, to be fair, I probably have a lot more bathrooms to smell (for scientific and completeness' sake, I should probably try one of those green standalone ones in Skid Row before I go asserting such things) but before I get the balls to try get that complete, I don't think I've smelled a worse bathroom than the one here.

All things considered, this is not my favorite venue.

i think we saw a strip tease here. I don't really recall. we had gotten toasted on a bottle of tuhkeela on the way, wait, or was it from the bottle we had in our purse. it's fuzzy. maybe that'll teach em to get a full liquor license. minus 2 points for lack of a full bar. BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

the girls that work there are clad in nurse's uniforms, or what nurse's uniforms ought to look like.

venue is dark and don't recall if it was nice or not. it must have been nice enough because we stuck around til the end.

    Good hurt=good times

I'm not sure why I like this place so much. I think it has all the right ingredients for a neighborhood bar:
    1. dark, kinda intimate setting
    2. quirky uniforms and hot bartenders
    3. spacious smoking area
    4. new, local bands with enthusiastic groupies
    5. different spaces - to talk, dance, play pool, drink at the bar
    6. decent bathrooms
    7. reasonable drink prices
    8. ALWAYS a food truck nearby
    9. totally regular crowd, no pretense, just ready to have a drink and a good time.
    10. diverse crowd

    What can I say...me likey.

First time here to see Particle Wave!  Great band, which is why this location gets 4 stars.  The venue is dark and reddish throughout.  There is only 1 restroom for each gender which can create some back ups if it were more crowded.

Went on a Thursday night and there was an ok turn out.  Not too crowded.  Seems like a very intimate venue and people come to see their friends perform.

Wow, felt like I was knocked back into late 80's, early 90's and it hurts!

We went to see some friends that are in a band.  It is a pretty small place so if you want to get close to the band you can. Overall the place has that grungy, dirty feel and not in a good way. Made me feel like I needed a shower by the time I left.

I won't ge back, but I'm sure our friends appreciated the support.

What's w/ me and old dudes lately?  Seems like every guy I meet has already got one foot in the grave.  Is this a sign that I'm starting to look old??  I better start busting out the eye cream and Botox injections bc I'm sick of having dinner with failed aspiring actors who are bitter, burnt out and jaded.

Yelpers: Ouch, that was harsh, Sophia W.
Sophia W: Yeah.  Maybe, but the truth hurts sometimes.
Yelpers: Or maybe YOU are the one who's bitter, burnt out and jaded?
    Sophia W: O________O;;  Anywayz...

So after a delicious dinner full of combative debate interlaced with discussions of personal failure, Mr. Midlife Crisis suggests we "take a long walk on the beach".  I'm no dummy and know that this is code for "I wanna get frisky witchu" so I suggest we do something else instead.

In comes Club Good Hurt.  Wow!  Was this bar/music venue a sight for sore eyes or what?!  After 3 months of checking out "dive bars" that were really hip hop clubs, karaoke bars, lounges and sports bars, I was finally able to find a REAL dive bar in Culver City. The bartenders are nice and the service was fast.  The local bands that night played electro-rock and new wave, and the crowd was dancing along.  A great vibe all around!

Best of all, I met the lead singer of one of the bands and now we're going to kick it this weekend!  Yay for new friends and awesome dives!!

Lissa G. said it perfect! "If you're coming here to see a band you like, then it's worth coming here.  Otherwise, I can't see the reason."

Three of my good friends are in a Spanish rock band (5%) and they played here on a Sunday night. Parking was easy as there is a lot available. If you feel like a drink, it will be $6 for a bottle of Bud or $7 for a Heine and or a mixed well cocktail. I thought the bartender chicks were in nurses outfits since Halloween is approaching. I guess this is their uniform year round. Don't get it.

I liked the stage placement with the neon "Good Hurt" above as it made for pretty good photo ops during the show. The sound quality though was just ok to me.

How about that stripper pole in the middle of the room.

Booths line the walls and there is a pool table in the back. Odd placement I think but who knows where else it would go if it wasn't there.

No my first venue choice for live music but if the band played there again of course I would go.

If you're coming here to see a band you like, then it's worth coming here.  Otherwise, I can't see the reason.

My friend's band, Streetlight Circus (have to give them some promo!), was playing at 8pm. They just barely open the doors as 8, so it looks like there's a line outside.  $10 cover isn't unreasonable, normally, but in this case, it seemed exorbitant for what you get inside.  In my case though, I know some of that money was going to my friend, so I'm cool with it.  They have "Asian vodka," which I believe means rice-vodka. I didn't try it, but I hear there's an odd taste.  Beers are about 6 bucks.

Fairly small space, which makes for an intimate show, but I can imagine it being way too crowded on some nights.  Two pool tables that are too close to the speakers and not well lit. Random.  I didn't go into the bathroom; i was told that that was a great idea. The club itself felt fairly humid and grimy; I can't event imagine what the bathrooms were like. Also, my friend complained about the electrical outlets on stage; he said they were so loose that the plug for one of the amps kept falling out!

Glad I got to see my friend's band, but this is a place I'd never go otherwise. I'm not sure how they're still in business. Maybe lots of friends of bands...

I love this place, I really do. I have a special place for Club Good Hurt in my heart because they've been wonderful to my best friend's band and always accommodate and treat their bands well. That's HUGE in this town where every other person has a band.

The staff and bartenders ROCK and are super friendly. This place has outstanding sound and an intimate stage with booths and standing tables with stools for variety. There's even a pool table in the back of the room.

The decor is consistent with their name. The bartenders dress up as naughty nurses and the bar says "Prescriptions" above it. As an RN major, I dig it! The club is dark and is splattered with neon ruby red lights that flash and the lighting guy has skills.

The bar and stage are divided by the seating booths which makes it easy to have a conversation at the bar without it being drowned out by the band. You can almost choose whether you want to sit and enjoy the show, or be a barfly and drink your sorrows away. I've been here many times and they cater to a dynamic array of music and bands. I've heard everything here from rock, blues, acoustic sets, jazz, folk, and gothic-inspired music.

Club Good Hurt also sometimes broadcast live web casts of their shows online which is awesome. The bands can also opt to have their show professionally recorded with high quality equipment.

1 star docked because a) parking is a challenge (street only - no lot) and b) they do not have real liquor. They use rice liquor in their drinks which makes them weaker and have an after taste. The last time I was there, they did not have their liquor license but hopefully that's been changed.

Monday nights they have professional pole dancers which really steam things up during the music! It's called Medicinal Mondays.

This place is exactly what you expect, but not what it claims itself to be, its sleaze.

Unorganized, horrible sound, even worse crowd.

Could have just been an off night, but even on an off night even the worst dive has a redeeming quality. This didn't. Stay away.

Drinks: ONLY TEQUILA, VODKA and BEER. singles ($7) are super weak. Doubles are strong but at $12- too expensive.

Cover: $10 for a crappy dj. We accidently went on cosplay night. watch out for the chick dressed like a unicorn.

Ambiance: nice, at least, lots of room and seats. also have pool tables.

Good Hurt, fun times. Pretty low key bar.

Nurse Outfits, they has them, so make sure to bring all your cheesy pick up lines for the Nurses....like "Hello NUrse" and wiggle your ass and say "Check my temperature?" lol. Bartenders seem nice.

They serve mostly beer, no super hard alcohol, just simple wells..Rum and cokes are served there, and Screwdrivers. I think, just wells really. So don't expect to order a high variety of drinks. But there is beer. And lots of seats, the bathroom is cool, and the decor is great, not super hospital themed, they have cool 2 tone art of Pam Grier at the front, that made me happy.

    Crowd seemed nice.

Bands sound awesome, I went to see The Faded perform, and it was really fun, and I was able to hear them pretty well.  :) Check it!

I have been to the Good Hurt several times. Tonight was a bit different. I went to support a friend and their band, that was cool, they were awesome..

The night was called Punk Rock Karaoke! Fantastic idea. I didn't stay for that part. I bet it could have been cool, or really, really bad, which could have also been good, so win, win situation.
My friend and I left a bit early, and to our surprise as we were sitting in the car laughing our tushes off, cops, lots and lots of cops. I found out, that a drug house was being raided across from where we were sitting, a body was found in a trunk of a car. We fled the scene.

Not that this has anything to do with the Good Hurt, The club is small, tons of fun, and there is a dancers poll on the floor. Staff is fantastic as well. They let me put up a few fliers for awesome upcoming events.

Good Hurt is cool, all and all I had a very exciting evening to say the least. I heard some awesome punk rock, I was on the list, meet some crazy kids, was right in a huge danger sight. so many cops. It was like a movie.
I will go back to get a glimpse of this Punk Rock Karaoke!

Club Good Hurt popped up just at the tail end of my college days, and the concept always piqued my interest. Sexy nurses? Yes. Booze as the bad medicine I need? Make that a double!

Actually, maybe not. The place only serves wine, a very meh (especially for the Westside) selection of beer (two on tap, the rest in bottle) and house vodka and tequila. Not wanting to incur whatever hangover house tequila may bring, I went for a vodka tonic. Sexy nurse bartender was good on the up-sell and asked if I wanted a double. I felt like I needed to, and I was correct that I did. But well booze for $12 even if it's a decent pour?

    Bad hurt. Bad, bad medicine.

The place has cool but not really apropos artwork at the bar, two pool tables and a stripper pole in the middle of the dance space/stage area. Great space, but totally not worth the trip unless you're going to see a good (emphasize the word GOOD) friend is performing there and you get sauced up beforehand if that's your game. Also, if you're okay hanging out in a space that's always lit like a black and white darkroom, you can chill here with no problem.

Should you decide to hazard trying the house tequila or just sauce up a little too much on anything else, I'd prescribe going to the 24-hour Yum Yum Donuts next door so you can get your sugars replenished so minimize any gnarly headache you may have the morning after.

Its not the best bar out there.

    Good Hurt sounds KINKY!!!

    Nurses serving drinks? yah...

So I went here for a Burlesque show I signed up for the guest list but sadly enough i didn't get in, so i have to pay for the cover which is 10 bucks.  Its not so bad if the bands playing are good and well worth it. The sounds system is not so good. the guys restroom's lock is kinda messed up. oddly enough there's only 1 table in the middle and the rest are at the side. Drinks are kinda crappy. 5 dollar tequila shots are alright. I just think this place is not for me.

    so BLAH!

I had some major family stuff happen and my best friend wanted to cheer me up.  He'd heard this place has tenders in nurses outfits now.  Bribing me with booze and eye candy is unfair.

I wanted to like this venue.
Pulling up I was returned to the 90s.  Grunge.  Punk Rock.
The sign on the front was huge- which from what I know about LA most of the time is a sure thing it will be crappy.

It's a little hole in the wall place where I'm told most people don't go to unless they know someone who's playing.

Little remembered fact: Suicidal Tendencies was among the slew of artists who at one point played here.
Back in it's time, this wasn't a bad place and hosted legendary performers.  It's far from that though now.

This screamed potential, but was so far off the mark.

If I was in high school, I probably would have thought this was great.
It's a small little place with low lighting.  There's 3 rooms: one is for the bar area and has a glass half wall which you can overlook the show, then the main room in front of the stage, and a closed glass vip room (which no one was in anyway).

Cover was $5 last night.  On the weekend and depending on who is showing there it's $10.
    It wasn't worth it.

The main room has 2 pool tables in the back.  There are about 5 or 6 booths to sit in but its otherwise standing room only.
There is a stripper pole not far from the stage.  Monday nights this gets use.

From what I know from a local who's been going to the place for years, EVERY night is different.  So to judge just by one night there may not be entirely fair.  I didn't think too much of it.

You can expect to see metal and punk bands there.  The bands we saw last night weren't that great at all.  It seemed they were more focused on being loud than actually good.

There were 2 decent looking people there (excluding me & my friend of course).  One borderline indie geek girl in a short jumpsuit and a rockabilly black haired girl with a flower in her hair.
The rest of the crowd was not anyone you would think twice to look at all.  There were a few sissy poser white boys, an asian indie hiphop guy, and oh yeah fat girls.  Was it a herd that really made it so loud in there?

Not worth the cover at all.  Crowd was also sparce but I'm not surprised and died right about midnight.

The Good Hurt is a cool little venue in Mar Vista; It has an unusual location in that it is the only live music venue within seeing eye distance.

I've gone here a few times to see my ex-roomate's band do some sets.

Described in one word: Dark....not alot of lighing aside from stage lights.

The stage is a great spot, and the sound guy is pretty serious about making the music right (excpet one occasion where the sound guy's band was headling, and he wasn't really paying attention.

The seating is a little odd; There are booths along the far wall and booths right when you walk in; unfortunately because there is no dressing room; those seats become the de-facto green room.

There are a few tables scattered among the main floor, and about 12 seats at the bar.

Speaking of the bar, the maidens have got the sexiest candystriper/naughty nurse outfits. drinks are a little on the high end, but worth the scenery.

Parking is a bit of a cluster, but definite bonus star for having a donut joint right next door!

It's a chill spot to see live music, without braving the cluster-F of Hollywood.

It's a dive. It's a live music joint. It's got hot bartender girls in vinyl nurse outfits. It's only a couple of miles from home. What's not to love?

Well, there's a few things. Like, maybe the fact that the place looks like it's seen better days. Or that the acoustics aren't the most amazing. Or, that most of the time the bands that are playing are pretty much horrible. And the biggest offender: they don't have any cognac in stock.

That said, it's a fun little place. The staff are really friendly, the theme is really fun, and more often than not the patrons are chill and easy to talk to.

I can see how parking can be a chore at peak hours but I've never had a problem finding a spot on the street. Good Hurt is one of those places I recommend if you're only a couple of stumbling blocks away and don't feel like getting dressed up and driving all the way to downtown or Sunset.

Actually, now that I think about it, it's a really appropriate name for the place.

This place needs some help. Its kind of run down. We ordered soju shots and they were GIANT and warm...really bad. ick.

The bathroom is really dark and I saw a bag of drugs on the ground! GROSS!!

    The stage is tiny...

The booths over to the side are nice to have I suppose. Definitely not worth the drive if you have to drive over 30 mins tho.

Parking is a bitch too...street only.

I've got mixed feelings about Good Hurt.  I like the divey feel and the fact that they have live music.  However, the crowd was pretty weird: lots of guys who looked like they wanted to break some shit, including, potentially, your face.  I'd go back if I lived nearby and/or there was a band I liked, otherwise I'll pass.

I am SUCH a fan of this space. As a gimmick bar, it's one of the coolest in the city. They have this "Dr. Feelgood" theme running throughout. I came here to check out a band called Ponette. I don't know if they play shows anymore, but as I watched their set, I thought Good Hurt would be an excellent place to unveil my master plan of becoming the West side's most stylin' and profilin' DJ. Sure, the DJ night as a concept is majorly played-out at this point, but you really gotta see this space. It's crazy.

The only thing that blows about Good Hurt is that some of the patrons looked a little iffy. I overheard a guy tell his friend that he'd just gotten the new Daughtry disc and it changed his life. So, yeah....not the most stellar crowd of folks.

Shauna D- "Help!  Please come to this club with me to watch this guy's band!"
Shauna's good friend-"Dude, I don't know.  My boyfriend wants to bail and I'm near flaking myself."
SD- "Please!  This date is sucking big time!  I need some girl support!"
SGF-"But I'm not wearing any makeup, I'm still wearing my clothes from work, I just woke up from a nap and my hair is a mess!"
    SD- "Yeah, so?"
    SGF-"Oh, all right."
SD- "Great, it's $8 cover with the flyer but um, I don't have any flyers because the stupid date had one and he left it in his car.  I had to pay the cover to get in myself!"

So, ages and ages ago when I was on the Westside a lot more, I always passed the Good Hurt but the ex grumbled how awful it was and so there was never much interest on my part to check it out.  And I don't really care to pay cover for what could potentially be a lame club.

I should have realized the music jerk was right.  I went last Friday after being forced to wait an hour for my date to show up to dinner only to scarf down a few bites before jetting down the street to watch this man's band perform.

I sat with the assorted friends, wives and girlfriends of the band in a private-ish area with several booths and tables.  It was to the side of the stage but I still had a decent view.  The band...unfortunately was the best part of the place.

Yeah, the bartenders dressed up as nurses are pretty cool but I'm not a dude and they don't do anything for me.  They don't pour strong enough drinks!  $7 for well drinks.

The ladies' room is in the unmarked corner by the pool tables.  The men's room had a huge M on the wall.  Um, I guess they don't care if women can't find the damn restroom?  This place is so not female-friendly.  The lighting in the restroom was horrible!

When I was staring at the wall lamps, I realized they reminded me of nipple-less white boobies.  Hmmm.  Again, this place makes me think it's for the dudes.

After the bands played, the club turned into a Samba club with live Brazilian drummers.  That was pretty cool but without a singer, I didn't feel like enduring the relentless drumming, gyrating crowd and more minutes with the lame date.  My friend had left me at this point to his clutches.

The two stars are for the chill bouncer who let me in for $8 without the flyer (it was $10 that night) and the plentiful parking in the lot.  Oh, and Valentine's day candy that I didn't want on all the tables provided by the Brazilian girls.

I have been here exactly twice.

ONCE - totally accidentally.  Saw a HORRIBLE Spanish punk band.

TWICE - after party from a concert.  Our friend knew the bartender and he set us up with some amazing free drinks.

Good booze.  Comfy seats.  Terrible bands.  Now that I think about it, should come here more often.

I hit up the Good Hurt a while back to see my cousin's band "Funkin Pie" and I immediately liked this venue. There's plenty of free street parking and the drinks from what I recall were well made, good music, good crowd, cool vibe.....I need to hit this place up more often come to think of it!

The female bartenders dress in EMT or Nurse outfits and I have to give props where props are due... these girls looked damn good. Sexed up yet not overly slutty.

At first I was like what the hell is Club Good Hurt...come to find out the previous reviewer WAS reviewing the bar that I know to be the Good Hurt....oh well tomato tomatoe potato potatoe its still a fucking good hurt after leaving here.

The bartenders are super hot dressed in Nurse uniforms and this is all year not just today, which happens to be Halloween.  So if you need that role playing fix, thoughout the year, well then there ya go!

I see that people have been charged anywhere from $5-10 to enter.  But I used to live around the corner and dont remember every night being a cover thing...oh well, maybe it helps being a local, but who knows, I usually started drinking early

    SO....the jist

Not a very large variety of drinks-Vodka/Tequila/Beer/Soju
    Hot ass Bartenders
    Pool tables
Middle of West LA/Culver City area

This place covers all bases except food.

Small dance floor, seating is plentiful, 3 pool tables. Man I could spend all night here just shooting pool and jamming to the live bands that get here.

Halloween weekend. I did the smart thing and arrived at 1230am. By this time the band was wrapping up and cut out before I could catch their name. In my book, they sounded so cool, I had to park and run into the place. Too bad I only caught the last song.

Alice in Wonderland (both of them) were hot! I kept my cool though. SInce I came in late, I was on best behavior and did little to make a stink. The costume winner was a gal posing as Jackie O'Nassis. Come on Yelpers, next Halloween ramp this place up. It needs your attention and is actually a nice little place.

The only sucky thing is the music is way too loud when the band is gone. Tone it down dudes, we need a pick up joint like this.. hint hint hint slap-in-the-face, slap-in-the-face....

The bar is minimal but they serve Angel City Lager and all the Vodka and Tequila in the world. If they don't have it, you have a right to complain to the management.

Yes the bartender tonight was hot. This place is a non-hipster 21-30 crowd with a few mixed in 40+ guys and gals. It might be more hip-hop on other nights, but don't count on finding me there on hip-hop night. I am a certified head-banger so give me guitars and drums!

I went on a weekend.  Cost me 10 bucks.  Cool bands.  People watching is fun here.  Eclectic crowd.  Guy grabbed a girl's ass that night.  Too bad the girl had a boyfriend who was there.  Fight ensued.  Pissed off the band that was playing. Fight continued outside of club.  Security detail here seems a bit shabby.

    Pool table in the back.

Yum Yum Donuts next door is open 24 hrs, in case you get the munchies afterwards.
