I've been here a few times over the years -- usually because I know someone who is going to be there. Â But my last visit gave me a new reason to visit this place: ginger syrup made in-house. Â Now, I've had their mules here before, but the ginger beer in that is subdued quite a bit by the other ingredients. Â Last night, I had the Kentucky Buck that featured a stronger ginger kick, and I got to sample the ginger syrup Miranda used to make the drink -- SO GOOD! Â They didn't have any other drinks on the menu with ginger syrup, so I asked Miranda to make me a mezcal (another reason to love this place) and ginger syrup concoction -- the result was a mezcal-tequila-ginger-lemon cocktail that was absolutely delicious! Â If you love ginger, check this place out!
Review Source:It's a downtown location without all the downtown. Great drinks that are $5 before 9pm that are as good as any other I've ever had anywhere else.
I'm generally not a "mixology" fan since there's generally huge lines and waits involved, but the drinks were made are lightning speed and when it's not crowded there's hardly a wait.
4-star because I had a great time here!
This is a place for a music freak rather than a beer geek. Check out their website and see when they have good DJs in town. As far as booze goes, there were only 4 on tap and maybe around 20 in bottles. Some cocktails and whiskies too.
It was super packed the night I went, probably because of the good DJs? There was a back patio and many smokers went out to "breath".
I will come back for some good music, but definitely not the drinks.
