My Ma says it's where you go to get quality lamb the only drawback is they prefer cash but that was years ago, today they accept credit cards too. Â It's a Halal meat shop. Â Halal is for Muslims as Kosher is for Jews. Â Get it? Â With that said there are a number of Muslim version items for consumption. Â What'd you just say Jacob?? Â I'm saying.. instead of pork bacon products or other pork products, they offer alternatives like "breakfast meat", bacon made of beef!. Â There are a number of other frozen favorites as well. Â
I think the only negative my Ma has about the cuts are that they aren't as specific as they once were. Â Not as much attention given to the sizes, I assume they cut it a general way to stay quick with service. Â There is a grocery store attached which I've hardly ever been in. Â On occasion when lamb is on the menu, I'll pick up a few pounds here and also purchase something random from the freezer cases. Â When it comes to lamb you want good stuff. Â Chain groceries just do not carry good selections. Â Whole foods has some tasty stuff but.. yes, it is pricey. Â When your having folks over that don't care whether its GMO meat.. well, the pricing here is great.
