Fatty's

Call me crazy... but Fatty's is a SUPER ironic name for a vegetarian/vegan restaurant.

My husband and I came here on a whim and were thinking it'd be more "fancy diner".

The price tag is a bit pricey, the faux-steak was divine and the mac-and-cheese was mediocre.

All-in-all I was impressed with how they pulled off an entirely vegan meal that my husband actually ate. For a non-vegan and non-vegetarian it was a little hard to maneuver the menu.

I'm a sucker for restaurants that look like this one- exposed beams, little string lights... you get the idea.  Very cozy ambience and great for a date.

I had spring rolls, the mousacca, and a coconut beer.  I feel ten pounds heavier now, but I hardly feel guilty because it was all vegan and SO good.    

Like a lot of people have said, service is a little slow, but what's the rush anyway?  Sometimes it's nice not to eat and run.  Relax, people.

Super delish! An expensive date night but great food.
