Ferrentino's Pizzeria & Pub

Who would have thought that a rinky-dink pizza place across from Six Flags New England would have such amazing pizza! I grew up in NYC, where the pizza is great, and you don't have to walk very far to find a nice local pizzeria instead of a mass produced chain. So, while I haven't minded the pizza I've eaten in and around Boston, none of the pizza spots have really hit home the way they did back home. Imagine my surprise, then, when  I stumbled upon Ferrentino's while trying to save some money at Six Flags. Inside the park, they have a "special" where you pay almost 40 bucks to get a "large" pizza and 4 drinks for a family of four. However, Ferrentino's is literally right across the street from the park entrance, and for about $25 we ate the best pizza in MA, and stuffed our faces like pizza kings. The large was humongous, and even with 4 really hungry adults, we could not finish the entire pie. We will definitely hit this place up the next time we're at the park, and you should too!

I was a fan of Mario's before they closed and since then haven't been able to find anything close to it.  We moved to River Road area, and Ferrentino's is the closest thing i can find and better than many other pizza places by far.  We love their boneless wings too, which is a plus.  Not too saucy, which i hate, with a good bite to them, but not too much.  Hopefully they will drum up more business with the new location across from Six Flags...
