Came here on a Tuesday for lunch. Place wasn't busy at all and probably don't need a reservation, but to be safe I'd probably make one. The restaurant is extremely cute, inside and outside seating, but be prepared to sit for a while. Our lunch took around 3 hours, including desserts.
The waiter recommended the burger, which comes with fries. The burger was actually really good. Got it medium well and to my surprise, still very juicy. The other dishes we ordered (ravioli and the go fish) were delicious as well. The dishes took a while to come out, (30 minutes), but since the food was good, I won't complain.
After, we decided to get dessert. Decided to go with the chocolate french toast sandwich. Took about 10 minutes to prepare. Ice cream was a great touch to the overall dessert. Only recommendation would be to put more than just one strawberry.
Oh, check in on yelp and get 10% off :) Pretty much $20 a person.
My family and I enjoyed happy hour at Finch's for my birthday. I chose this spot because it was close to home, had a good menu, and is dog friendly.
The patio isn't too big, so I'm glad I called ahead and made a reservation. Service was great. Our server brought out water for our dog before we even needed to ask for it. He was knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly. He also checked in with us on a consistent basis and brought out our food/drink quickly. He even brought me out a complimentary birthday dessert.
Our food was pretty good. We enjoyed the lamb sliders (I think this is no longer on their happy hour menu though), salmon cakes, garlic herb fries, mussels, cheese plate, and profiterole. The lamb sliders were good, but more like a meatball than a slider. It came with polenta which did not taste that good. The rest of the small plates were really tasty though. We chose the 5 cheese plate and liked all but one of the cheeses (which I forgot what it was). My birthday profiterole was really good! I'm not completely sold on the food yet, hence the 4 stars, but it was a pretty good value during happy hour.
I also wasn't able to have any wine, but I would definitely like to come back and have some wine and try more of their food next time.
This is such a cozy little grotto! My husband and I happened upon it during the course of date night this past Saturday and we were absolutely delighted. It reminded me of a European bistro, with the striped awnings and little white lights strung overhead, babbling fountains and subtle music from a live guitar strumming in the background. Â We were quickly transported as we enjoyed a bottle of wine and a generous sampling from the appetizer menu. I highly recommend the cheese platter with fresh honeycomb, which was a meal in itself!
Our server, Matt, was wonderful, setting us at ease and ensuring that we were well cared for during the course of our visit. Â Finch's Bistro and Wine Bar was perfectly intimate and relaxing. We will definitely be back in the future!
