Firetap

Upon entering, my wife and I were hopeful that it would be a good place to eat. However, that was not the case at all. The only redeeming qualities of this place are the atmosphere and the beer selection. The food was terrible. In fact it was so terrible that I am writing this review from the bathroom, as that is where I have spent most of my time today! Yes, eating at Firetap gave me food poisoning! Upon my ranting about my experience I have learned that this place has failed several health inspections. Shocker! Needless to say we will not be going back, and I hope this review saves some of you from an aweful experience!

came here for lunch, always wanted to try because ive had mixed reviews. Wasn't busy and we got seated right away. Our server wasn't very personable.  Our food was okay, came out with cold fries but they got some more for us.  Got a pretzel sandwich which I expected more on. It was good, but bread was kind of hard and cold, i thought it would be softer bread and warm.  Should have asked if it was a cold or warm sandwich i guess.  They look like they have a good amount of beers to choose from.

One of my new favorite restaurants in Anchorage.  Great food, good service, comfortable ambience and they serve Moose's Tooth apple beer.
