My wife and I joined another couple for a spectacular dinner at Flemings this past Saturday night.  Everything about the evening was perfect to include the ambiance, the service, the drinks and the meal.   It was a magic moment where the reality exceeded the expectations (which were quite high!).  A special word of appreciation to our server, Danielle at table 9, who was thoughtful, helpful but not over bearing.  As for the food, the steak was to die for and the sides of agroton potatoes and spinach were superb.  The night was capped with coffee and a fabulous creme brûlée.   It was a wonderful evening and we look forward to returning sometime very soon for that very special occasion.

Not a huge fan of steakhouses, I find that I can usually find better quality at butcher shops and then cook at home.  If I'm going to be a fan, your sides better be excellent and your meat shouldn't be "improved" upon by tons of butter or mysterious sauces.

Fleming's sides and appetizers are top notch and their meat is left alone for the most part, which is what I'm looking for.  Last time here I had the N.Y. bone in steak and it was very flavorful and cooked to perfection.

    unbelievable service.
casey went above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience again.
we came for another birthday dinner (this time for my daughter, they are def. spoiled).
they paid such great attention and even gave her fresh made truffles courtesy from the chef.
we had the most amazing steak, as usual, and this time i went out of my norm and ordered the sea bass. it was superb.
my favorite champagne unfortunately is $22 a glass, but i have to splurge when i come here, so i had fun with this for sure.
the manager even came by to ask how our dinner was, and we were very humbled and impressed by the service.
we will come back definitely again and again, and not just for the steak (the best in San Diego), but for the service now.
    thanks team!

Great service combo with a perfectly cooked steak and delish Fleming styled potatoes with the jalapeno cream and cheese, YUM! The stealth like service is my favorite part, my meal was so good, I didn't care that the guy next to me in the restroom was looking at my wang!

We dropped by to kill some time for happy hour.  My lady got a cab which tastes weak, but Sam Adams seasonal is only $3!

MAN, the food is excellent for what you pay for during happy hour.  $6 burger and baked brie was out of this world.  Ambiance was great - not too loud where you can't have a conversation without shouting, yet very comfortable and inviting.

I originally only wanted to gave it 3.5 stars, but after seeing the $6 food menu, the value is unbeatable.

Service is excellent - very friendly and fast.

My husby and I went to Fleming's in La Jolla for our anniversary for the first time on the recommendation of a friend.  He had made the reservation online and told them we were celebrating our anniversary.  When we checked in, they all greeted us with "Happy Anniversary!"  Then they seated us and handed us the menus, which when we opened them, had a written placard inside with our names and wishing us a happy anniversary.  Then they brought out complimentary glasses of champagne.  I was blown away.

The food was delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly.  And the Chipotle Mac & Cheese was to die for.  The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because everything is ala carte...I'm not a fan of having to pay for sides and salads, etc.  Especially with those prices, it should be included.  But regardless, the food was amazing.

Our waitress, April D., made an amazing wine recommendation so I will be searching out that wine for future drinking.  She was so very hospitable and took great care of us.  She even took our picture and printed it out and gave it to us as a gift.  Then, the operating manager, Casey, came by and wished us Happy Anniversary.  He brought a box  of 4 house made truffles and a $25 gift card for a return visit.

We felt like royalty with how we were treated.  It made our date night extra special and we will definitely be back.  Stay Classy Fleming's.

We were going to go for the happy hour tonight but since we made reservation for a booth, we decided to try out Fleming's main menu.  We eventually decided to go for the prime bone-in ribeye and filet mignon with a side of onion rings.  The onion rings were goldenly crispy.  The medium rare ribeye was excellent and perfect to taste.  However, my medium rare filet mignon was a tad overdone and kind of dry. The manager came over and asked us how was our night, I was only said it out of honesty and she told me they would remake one for me but I was already 2/3 done. I told her it was alright and I was full but she kept insist. She finally said next time do let them know but this time dessert is on her. Now that's high class service. Thank you, Elizabeth! Dinner well spent and it's nice to know that you do care about your customers!

I have been coming to Flemings for several years now both for the "fine dining" on special occasions and also much more frequently for Happy Hour as it truly is a great deal for great food.  Consistently, every time I have been in for Happy Hour, the service has been just atrocious.  I believe the main issue is that the bar area both inside and outside get very busy for Happy Hour and the restaurant is under staffed.  This screws us as the customers because we get neglected while the severs struggle to stay on top of the madness they have to deal with because ownership is too cheap to staff the bar area better.

I have never had an issue with an unfriendly server or a bad experience as far as the customer interaction goes, but the service consistently is non existent because they are just over extended.  Come on Casey and managers.  This isnt your first time at the rodeo.  You are consistently busy for Happy Hour, yet you consistently under staff the bar area.  This makes the servers work extra hard but they inevitably are too busy to handle all their tables and we get neglected as customers, which then makes their tips dwindle down to nothing.

The kitchen is also consistently very slow for HH.  We had a table with four people once, ordered four hamburgers and it took 45 minutes!  The kitchen is consistently slow or the opposite where they miraculously are super fast with food delivery, yet the orders are wrong.  This effects the servers tips in addition to the non existent service.

Come on Flemings.  Staff your restaurant properly so we as the customers can be taken care of properly and your staff can be compensated appropriately.  Whether Im spening $6 on a hamburger for Happy hour or $40 on a steak dinner, we deserve to be serviced properly.  Get down off your high horse and put your money where your mouth is.

Ok.....we all know that the food is just incredible.  Wanna test this out?  Try the hamburger or even the chicken....its awesome.

But without question, it's the very special service each patron gets every visit.  Casey, the General Manager, and his impeccable staff pay attention to every detail. Details which go well beyond making sure your steak is cooked perfectly.

For example, Casey knew I was going to be in Salt Lake City, so he reserved a private room for my party of 10 for me.  That makes me feel so valued as a customer.

    Get the bone-in rib eye!!

First of all THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, for your follow up and everything.

Oh I would like to add and say happy hour at Flemings is incredible That I would give 5 Stars!!!

What can I say about this second visit back?!?! Hmmmmmmmm

This was definitely step down from my last visit to Fleming's. Food was great and fantastic. Didn't attempt the rib eye but went for the Prime rib dinner and it was just great. My prime rib came out fantastic medium rare just like how I ordered. My sister had the seasonal special which turned okay. She had seasonal special entree; The starter prawns were great, but the main entree turned out so-so. Both the salmon and Filet Mignon was more on the well done/medium side when she ordered a medium rare with a request for more pink. The salmon came out a bit over done. Despite everything food was five stars.

Service on the other hand came out short. First, it started off with the hostess not finding my reservation. Second, lack of table service during the meal compared to last time. I do thank Bryan the manager for coming by. I just have a habit of not complaining on the spot as I feel it to be inappropriate. Third, was when I asked about my $25 credit for making an online reservation, the waitress said I made it on the phone, when I clearly had email confirmations showing that I made it online. I even tried to show her my iPhone which she didn't bother to look at. When I used the $50 gift card and she told me that I couldn't use 2 promotions at the same time. I got the impression that she didn't want to go back to fight for me. Honestly, if she did, it would have been a 40% tip instead of 20%.

Flemings shouldn't offer a $25 discount on online reservations if they don't follow through.  Don't know if I want to go back after this. Maybe just happy hour.

Great happy hour menu, a good variety of items on the happy hour menu, my favorite is the calamari and the burger!  Try both, calamari is just about perfect with a great dipping sauce, and the burger is mouthwatering with a fresh bun!

Chardonnay and fifty shades of rosé. I just realized they switch up and change their happy hour items every so often! Awesome!

TAKE NOTE: I love good food and I'm really cheap.

For happy hour, I've liked beef carpaccio, pan fried pork belly, prime burger, mushroom ravioli, and calamari. My favorite is the BURRATA. IT'S SUPER GOOD! It's pretty much toast with some kind of cheese, grilled baby tomatoes and leaves. I'm obviously not a pro foodie because I don't even know what I just ate last night haha. All I know is that it's super good and you might as well try it!!!! :)

I didn't like the baked brie. It comes with think slices of apples and some salad leaves. It's pretty much a baked pastry with a huge piece of brie and apple cinnamon cubes inside. It was confusing. If they just had the apples or just the brie, the pastry would be so tasty.

I have been here twice and left impressed each time.  First with my husband for his birthday and last night for our anniversary.  I don't eat a lot of steak  as it is too disappointing normally.  Each time I order steak here (it is their specialty!) I am shocked by the pure deliciousness and fork tender texture.  The crispy crusted bread, the salads, the potatoes (oh, the potatoes!).  We never made it to dessert.

It is expensive but the ambience is warm and cozy, the service is swift, friendly, and professional.  They are like personable yet well oiled machine.  Worth the trip!

HAPPY HOUR, HAPPY HOUR, HAPPY HOUR!
Their happy hour consists of many different options each for only $6. The happy hour is from 5pm-7pm EVERYDAY. The only thing is you and your party have to sit at the bar and it can get difficult to reach a bartender to help you with your order. But nevertheless I thought it was completely worth it. We went around 5:30pm and it wasn't too busy so we managed to get two spots at the bar. We order the calamari (comes with sweet and sour sauce) and two of the burgers with fries.

Sweet Chili Calamari - it was good. Nothing fantastic and there was a little too much sauce to my liking but it's worth a try, especially if you're a fan of calamari.

The Prime Burger - It was cooked just the way I wanted it (medium rare) with all the juices still in the patty. The onions, tomato, and lettuce are on the side so you'll have to put it together yourself. The fries were just like regular fries.

I also ordered a drink: The Tropical Martini. I liked it, but I don't think I'd order it again. It was nice to watch them make the drink in front of me, though. All in all it was a great happy hour experience. Especially for the price of $6 per item it was definitely well worth it. The only downfall was that I couldn't use my gift card because it was happy hour.

Also took a trip once when it wasn't happy hour. We were a huge party so we ordered different steaks and sides. In total there were petites filets, prime New York strip, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, and creamed spinach. The sides were ordinary, similar to many other steakhouses.

The petite filets were exactly that: petite!! I guess I couldn't expect much but I finished my steak pretty quickly, and I'm a slow eater. The New York strip was HUGE though. The two guys at the table who ordered those were 6 foot guys and they were stuffed by the end. Of course, it's pricier. Their service was great. They were refilling our waters very often and making sure that everything was going well for us.

AMAZING!!!! The food was on point. The bread and the house butter spread they give you is so freaken good! I had the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. Everything we ordered was delicious and it was worth every penny. The serves was also great. At the end of our meal the manager checked up on us to see how everything went and we were lucky because that night everyone got a $25 gift card to come back. I highly recommend this place if you are a meat and potato person. You will not be disappointed.

Flemings has a great happy hour and that is what this review is on, as I haven't eat and meal there in a long time and it was basically veggies and potatoes (not a good spot for vegetarians).

Anyway, happy hour is only available at the bar in this cornered off part of the restaurant with about 6 high top tables. They have a great selection of drinks and wine and the food on the happy hour menu is a great deal. It's always crowded and difficult to get a table which is kind of annoying, but not a reason not to go. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive.

Definitely a great spot for a date or quick bite for happy hour.

I love their happy hour menu- excellent drinks and food!  Although they recently changed their menu slightly. You can't go wrong with the $6 prime beef burger with cheese and bacon, fries/onion rings! They cook my meat to perfection, and it is always the way I ask for it. I love how they clarify the meat for you too. For example, if you say medium- they will say cooked well with a slightly pink center. The sweet chili calamari, mushroom ravioli, and baked Brie are also my favorites.

Went to happy hour and I was not disappointed. Out of the appetizers, my bf and I ordered one of everything (YES one of EVERYTHING! Can you say fatties? lol) I would say my favorite was the Baked Brie. I didn't know what to expect but what we got was a gooy ball of melted brie baked in a flaky biscuit and served with apple slices. I would have ordered another plate if my boyfriend and I hand't decided to check out the normal menu. After pigging out at the bar, we moved over to a table and decided to get a "small plate" and desert.  Please don't judge us. We had a gift card to use that was expiring the same night. hahaha. Anyways, we deiced to share Seared Ahi Tuna and the chocolate lava cake. Both of which I give an A+++! The ahi melted in our mouths and I seriously have no complaints to say. As for the lava cake, I'm not too big of a chocolate fan so to say that I loved it is saying something.  The chocolate was very good quality and was not overly sweet. Served with fresh whipped cream, I recommend it to anyone!

Service was impeccable. Can't wait to go here again. :]

There is absolutely nothing I can complain about at this Fleming's.  We started by having drinks at the bar (super cool iPad wine menu, by the way) and the bartender was endlessly helpful in helping us choose a glass of wine.  He was more like a Sommelier!  We thanked him and tipped him well for his knowledge.  We ended up finding an awesome wine that we fell in love with - and we even stopped on our way out of town the next morning and bought a few bottles to take home.

Our time in the dining room was marked by equally wonderful service and food.  Our waitress was great with suggestions (the creamed spinach - oh I could eat it all night long) and it was the first time I haven't had to send my steak back in a long time.  Every bite was delicious and hubby and I were pretty shocked to have such a high-end experience at a chain.

We loved it so much we made reservations for brunch on Father's Day.  Looking forward to returning.

PS - When they ask if you want the dessert that takes a long time to make - just say yes.  You won't be sorry.

I've been here on 3 separate occasions and was able to enjoy 3 very different sides of flemings.

The first time I came here was to enjoy the sunday prime rib special, the second time I was able to try their filet mignon, and the most recent trip was to sample their happy hour menu.

Since I don't really remember the first two trips this review will just be about the happy hour.

Parking is both easy and difficult at the same time. They have a private lot for valet and self parking and also street parking available. The street parking is very limited so i would go for the self parking. The garage is located below the hilton, and it can be a little tricky to get back up to the restaurant floor. There are stairs near the entrance of the parking garage but i wouldn't suggest walking up them. There is an elevator in the garage that goes into the hilton, then you need to walk through the courtyard into another part of the hotel in order to ride another elevator to the restaurant floor.. see confusing right?

The happy hour is served from 5 to 7 in the bar area and the front patio. It is self seating so it can be rough to find a spot to sit to fit your entire party, luckily there were only two of us so we swooped on the last table on the patio. It does get a bit chilly out in the patio so i suggest getting a table near the heaters, unfortunately lady luck was not on our side that day so we were pretty cold.

When I saw down at the table I noticed immediately that the tabletop was still dirty from the last guest, and the napkin and plate that was given to me were not as clean as you would like from a restaurant of this caliber (see uploaded image). We ordered the tenderloin carpaccio, the calamari, and also the pork belly. The carpaccio was decent, but nothing special. The calamari tasted as if you could have ordered it anywhere, but the pork belly was cooked to perfection. The fat just melts in your mouth as long as you enjoy it while its hot. The couple next to use waited until their pork belly was cold and did not enjoy it at all. Also, it seems like they aren't very consistent with portions because the table across from us received significantly smaller cuts of pork.

Other than that the food was cheap and decent

    Mr. Flemings,

We had high hopes for a wonderful meal as we were celebrating our 1 year engagement.  Sadly enough, we left with very dissatisfied tummies and a bruised wallet.

Your wait staff was absent minded and completely tacky.  The hostess lead us on a unwanted tour in the dining area as she found out that our table was not ready.  As nice as the ambiance you have created, it was rather unappreciated weaving in and out of the tables as other patrons were enjoying their meal.

Your waitress was pleasant, but probably needs to go back to waiting 101.  She greeted us with a nice smile, but whatever happen to taking our order for drinks?  When it came to ordering our food, she had a lack of care when she took our order.  She simply just wrote down whatever you said and didn't bother asking if we wanted sides or really anything else.

The food you claim so highly to be so great was not memorable one bit.  Felt like any other steak I've eaten and left me unsatisfied, especially my wallet.

Sorry to say, but you won't be seeing us back.

    Best,
    Crystal

I went to Fleming's for the first time and I had an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I went there for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner. I had the Stoli Bombshell (highly recommended) and he had a Blue Moon. After our drinks we moved to the main dining room and ate the best steaks we have ever had. Both were cooked perfectly (mine was M and his was MR), tender, and delicious. To finish off this amazing experience we shared the lava cake and I don't think we left a single crumb on the plate. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the tasty drinks, great service, and life changing steaks!

    Fleming's, I am back!

I came back recently and everything got so much better. I have been here 3 times in the past couple weeks. Happy hour, dinner, and drinks.

HH was great, I got the $6 burger again. Delicious! And the portion was generous too! The burger was loaded with cheese and bacon. French fries were also fresh and tasty. $6 for this is a steal!

Drinks were awesome. I have always been a fan of Moscow Mule and Fleming's make really good Moscow Mule! One of the secrets is they use really good ginger ale (It's called Fever-Tree), perfect balance of carbonation and sweetness for me. They have an extensive selections of wine as well, great if you are a wine connoisseur.

Small Plate: Lamb chops were incredible!!! Very flavorful, and the mint sauce complemented the lamb really well. Came with polenta fries too.

Service here is always great, especially in the main dining room.

Got treated out for my birthday and came to Fleming's for dinner.

Like many of the reviews say, the service was nice. Not too in your face but attentive- I really hate service where it feels like you are being overwhelmed and watched..

A list of what was ordered:

House Salad-: I regretted ordering it. I just wanted some veggies but the lettuce was just iceberg, there wasn't much else going on in the salad cept for some cranberries and walnuts, the portion was small and the dressing was mediocre.

The porcini rubbed filet, medium rare: Steak was overdone. But I was too hungry to send it back. It came served with 5 spears of asparagus and some gorgonzola cream sauce. Uhm.. The steak itself was really tender but I was underwhelmed. I could have cooked this myself at home. The sauce was ok- mild gorgonzola flavor. Was really disappointed it was overcooked.

Bone-in ribeye, medium rare: This was better than the filet, it was cooked medium rare and had much better flavor (obviously, considering it's the rib eye). My sweet date tried my filet, deemed it mediocre and swapped me his ribeye and took my filet. However, although better cooked, we both agreed it was salty.

Chipotle mac n' cheese: They didn't use elbow macaroni and the pasta was al dente which was nice. I thought it was a little dry but decent. The chipotle flavor is mild but complements the cheese.

Fleming's potatoes: They were pretty good but not rave worthy. They are pretty much potatoes au gratin.. supposed to have a jalapeno kick but didn't taste it too much.

All in all, the overall meal was mediocre for such a fancy steak place. I've definitely had better.

The bread though was DELICIOUS- freshly baked with really good texture and flavor.

They knew it was my birthday and although we skipped dessert, they did come out with a small box of the Fleming's truffles and a $25 gift card.. which was a very appreciated gesture.

I don't think we'll be using the gift card though....

Great steaks, salad and dessert .. Get the peppercorn filet medium!!

Seriously a very fancy place. I wouldn't come here normally unless it was a very special occasion. But fortunately, happy hour is a different story. They have a "5 for 6 until 7" menu. They have 5 different tapas-sized plates you can choose from and they are only $6 each, as are the selection of cocktails and wines.

They also have a burger plate with a side of fries for only $6 (your choice of cheese - the blue cheese is highly recommended). I ordered the mushroom ravioli, which was creamy, flavorful, and amazing. I also had the pork belly. This probably did not live up to our expectations, although it was still certainly very, very good.

I tried my friends' calamari, and really liked it (great zing with the peppers in there). Beef carpaccio was also to die for. The two best were probably the ravioli and the carpaccio. Can't wait to come back.

Came here with my boyfriend for their 5-6-7 deal at the bar, which is a great way to eat like a king without dumping your wallet onto the table.  We each had a cocktail (Manhattan for him, peach sparkler for me), the roasted mushroom ravioli and steak carpaccio for appetizers, and we each had a prime burger.  Everything was really delicious, right on down to the drinks.  The appetizers were actually the highlight for us both.  The carpaccio comes with capers, basil, and a really wonderful wasabi mayo -- it's a delight for the taste buds.  It was probably my favorite dish all night.  The ravioli was a close second, though.  Fresh pasta and really tasty mushrooms.  Surprisingly, my mushroom-hating man loved it.  The burgers were huge with perfectly-cooked meat and a buttery brioche bun.

Service was absolutely outstanding.  I love it when they're able to refill your water glass without you noticing -- you turn for one second to look at your dining companion, and when you turn back around, your water glass is full again.  Really pleasant and knowledgeable staff, and our food came out very quickly, even on a jam-packed Saturday night.

Pro tip: If you go there on your birthday, you get a $25 gift card to use for a future visit.  Can't be used for the 5-6-7 deal, unfortunately, but it's still a very nice gift.

Ian was our waiter. Must be hard having to serve our table and bring lemon drops and wine all night long. He did a fantastic job!

Lobster Mac and cheese was to die for. I like not having the breadcrumb topping. Each bite had chunks of lobsters. We loved it so much we might've ordered five dishes of this. I ordered the sliced filet mignon from the small plates. It was served on top of spoonfuls of risotto and squirts of butter and what tasted like sriracha. I asked for medium rare and got medium well. Not a big deal, but the risotto was crunchy. The chef told the waitress that this is how it is prepared, so I swapped out for ahi tuna. It was just ok. I sampled my eating neighbors ribeye, and I couldn't stop drooling over his meat.

Must do chocolate lava cake. You get not just mouthgasm but facegasm.

They definitely have one of the best Happy Hours in UTC. I love that I can spend less than $10 and grab a drink and some food. Their HH burger is amazing, and it's only $5! I normally wouldn't go to Fleming's unless it's a special occasion since dinner can be expensive, but HH is great. Definitely check it out if you work in UTC. You do have to get there early, like right at 5 or before 5:30, or you probably won't find a table. HH specials are only good at the bar and outdoor patio.

ETA: They have AMAZING customer service! I actually received a nice note from one of the managers thanking me for my review. :)

I went here during happy hour with my significant other.  The bar area was packed.  After waiting 15-20 minutes somebody finally left and we were able to take a seat.

The cool thing about happy hour at Flemings is that they have five different food items and five different cocktails and wines priced at only 6$ each!

We ordered the artichoke and mushroom flat bread, the calamari, the carpaccio, and we both got drinks (beer and a cocktail).  The flat bread dough had the consistency of a stale cracker, and I was hoping for more of a nice crisp thin crust pizza, but overall was pretty good.  The calamari was really tasty, although the sauce it was drenched in made the calamari soggy.  The carpaccio was absolutely great.  My beer was... well beer (blue moon for those curious) and the cocktail my girl ordered (forgot the name) was quite tasty.

The service overall was good, with the waitress promptly taking our order as we sat down and checking up on us every now and then.  The ambiance of the place was also quite nice, other than the fact that the bar area was quite small.  I definitely look forward to eating here again.

I've been here only for happy hour and the sunday prime rib dinner. Both things are pretty good and I really need to come here to have just a plain steak dinner one of these days. The interior is pretty typical steakhouse decor. The bar area is on the far left of the restaurant and thats where you go for the happy hour. There's also a large patio area that also allows happy hour. San Diego's great weather makes the patio a great place for large groups most of the year. Valet parking is available, but I would recommend just parking in the self-parking lot at the bottom of the small hill and get it validated at Flemings.

So about the food. Flemings does this "5 for $6 until 7", where they have 5 appetizers available for $6 each from 5-7PM. In additional, they have two larger items available for 6 bucks as well. The burger and now a flatbread. The burger is definitely a great deal.

Prime Burger - Huge burger for $6. Great meat, The bun is buttery and soft. I think its a brioche bun. Comes with bacon, which is always awesome. You get a choice of cheddar, swiss or blue cheese. I like the blue cheese because it adds a great tartness to the burger that contrast with the buttery bun. It also comes with a side of fries.

Calamari - Very sizable portion of calamari. Tossed with sweet and sour sauce, along with bell peppers and banana peppers. If you aren't a fan of sour, then be careful because the calamari can have a powerful sour taste.

Mushroom and Artichoke Flatbread - Decent but not particularly memorable. Its mostly dough and lacks both mushroom and artichoke. I found the dough also a bit dry. Maybe I just got a bad flatbread that didn't have enough toppings and sauce.

Prime Rib Sunday Dinner - They do this promotion here and there. You get a three course meal, with prime rib as the entree, for $30-35 (depending on the particular promotion). The first course is a salad and nothing special. The prime rib is great. Succulent and tender. Not chewy at all, which is generally my concern whenever I eat prime rib. A standard dessert comes with the meal. I got creme brule. Nothing special, but I'm always a sucker for creme brule.

Overall, a cool place. I've only been here for specials and happy hour. I plan to come back in the future to have a normal dinner.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Flemings!  I'm not even going to write about their steaks or dinner menu.  I'm all about Fleming's Happy Hour, but that's not to say they don't have a great steak. They do. It's delicious; I just happen to really enjoy their happy hour!

5 Items for $6 until 7pm.  That's write. GO DO IT!  They offer 5 appetizers, 5 wines by the glass, and 5 cocktails.  They also have a juicy prime burger with cheese and applewood smoked bacon, served with fries.  So affordable, so delicious, and this HH menu is offered 7 days a week!

I visited for lunch again.  Started with an awesome berry cup of strawberries, blueberries, and rasberries.  It was fresh and had good flavors.  Next was a petite filet mignon.  I asked for medium well and it was more medium.  The meat was excellent quality and seasoned perfectly.  I just had a similar filet at Morton's so I can say while the meat is of similar quality I much prefer how Fleming's seasons their filet and they get it closer to the doneness I'm looking for.  Lastly I had an awesome little box of chocolates.  :-)

This was an awesome meal and the service was great.  This was more a 4 1/2 star experience but I'm more inclined to round up...

Decent happy hour burger, I'll give you guys that.

The other happy hour specials? Are they awful to make up for the good deal on the burger? Like seriously?

My husband Man Candy, for some reason, didn't order the burger. He's an idiot like that sometimes. He ordered a shrimp cocktail. Because he's a WILD CHILD OF THE 80s everyone. Anyway, it was baaaaaaad. I hate shrimp, so I don't have my own opinion of it, but I'll mention his because I think it's worth saying. He said he'd expect a better shrimp cocktail from a supermarker refrigerator section.

    Ouch, guys.

Next time, I'll go back to Donovans for free happy hour steak sandwiches.

We just celebrated our anniversary at Fleming's and all I can say is WOW! Okay, I should say more since that would be a pretty boring review if I stop there. First of all, guest service at this place is stellar. From the host to our waiter (Stephen) to the assistant waiters to the manager, I was impressed. We were treated with respect and we did not want for anything very long.

And now...the food. Where should I start? Lets start with starters. We shared the sweet chili calamari. Excellent choice and I highly recommend it. For our entrees, we both had the bone-in ribeye steak. It was smooth like Filet Mignon and melted in my mouth. The sides are noteworthy as well. We shared bleu cheese mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and the half and half (potato frittes and onion rings). The sides were so good that I had to pace myself so that I could eat the steak.

We were too stuffed to have dessert, but our waiter brought out a box of truffles and a gift card for our anniversary for our next visit. I have to say, I can be picky when it comes to restaurants. Fleming's combines top notch guest service with delicious food; my favorite combination. I can't wait to go back! Thank you, Fleming's for making our anniversary a night to remember.

I have been to Flemings many times for dinner and happy hour and this by far was one of the worst experiences.

Let's start off with the dishes: My water glass had a giant lipstick stain on it. It looked like the glass hasn't been washed. I didn't notice it until I was a quarter into my water..yuck! Then the hair in the bread was icing to the cake. The fork that came with my dessert had food stuck on it. Maybe the dishwasher wasn't working properly that day?

Service: I think our waitress was new. They have this new ipad wine list and our waitress wasn't able to demonstrate anything on it. She said "my nails are way too long to use the ipad" Umm..ok.... Wine glasses werne't taken away until into dessert and our bill took around 20 minutes to come. Don't get me wrong the waitress was fairly nice but she talked way too fast and just didn't feel the hospitality I normally receive.

Bill: The bill came out wrong and when I brought it to the waitresses attention, she didn't know what was going on and just said she punched everything in correctly and left.

The only thing good was the Sunday special for their Prime Rib for $37.95 for a 3 course of salad, prime rib and a side and dessert.

Come back again? I will but I really hope I don't have the same waitress.
