I had a great experience with this cafe and it's a bit of an oasis in the park where there is little else most days. Â The culinary students that run the place are always respectful and cordial and the food is excellent. Â This isn't gourmet food, even if the future chefs are capable. Â This is a stand in a park so what you are going to get will be fast, mobile and quite satisfying.
Review Source:Small cafe near buckingham fountain. Probably best for the beverages. Food wise, I would not plan on eating there. For one, they may be out of what you want, and two, they really don't have the turnover of food there. I had a turkey crepe, which the cook took a crepe out of a wrapper and placed it on a crepe pan to warm, then added some packaged turkey and swiss cheese. No toppings to help it go down. all for $6. I would expect a little more from a place ran by the one of the chicago culinary schools. the desserts are there for more than a day, so I would be careful about them, or at least be ready to ask for a refund. It never ceases to amaze me how chicago restaurants expect people to pay for and eat the crap they serve people!
