Gaetano's

Gaetano's is old school Italian done fairly well.  Service is the low point with staff doing "shots" with bar customers while restaurant customers languish for service.  Staff just gather around the back of the place or in the kitchen and chat, or worse yet, go out in group smoke breaks while people stand in front waiting to be seated. Several people left before being seated. This place desperately needs a manager to manage.

Not impressed.  The people were nice, but the service was still bad.  As for the food...eh.  As my husband put it, a little "chef-boy-are-dee".

I was apprehensive meeting my friends at Gaetano's for lunch , after reading several negative reviews here on Yelp. What I found was delicious food, great atmosphere, as well as fabulous service. I had the chicken panini- very good. My friend said her lasagna was the best she had ever tasted. Another raved about her carbonara. After sharing a tiramisu for dessert, we were happy campers! We will definitely be returning.
