i love this place! Â i was so sad when I saw that it closed (irving park rd) and ecstatic when I found out it wasn't really closed just relocated. Â this place has the BEST carne asade that I've ever had. Â I spread it with the spicy red sauce they have on the table and ask for extra avocados and mmmmmmm! Â We love the sushi as well. Â The service was a bit leisurely but I really didn't mind. Â The waiter served us with smiles and was very welcoming. Â the bananas tempura for dessert is to die for!!
Review Source:The food here is AMAZING. Â My family and myself are all from Ecuador and I really appreciate this place is around to give us a little taste of home. Â We visit often. Â The food here is authentically home-made. Â Hence, this translates to waiting longer than you might expect but it's completely worth it!! Â I have recently ordered "Camarones a la plancha". Â So far, it's my favorite dish. Â If you love seafood, I recommend it. Â In general, if you love sea food and food prepared with great care, I recommend this place.
Review Source:The food was great - my wife and I shared the Galapagos Maki, which was fantastic, not to mention very large. Â I also had the breaded fried chicken with fries and a basic lettuce salad, which was very tasty. Â My wife enjoyed her steamed vegetable plate.
We had no problems with the service as some of the others seemed to have. Â Our waiter was attentive enough, kept our waters full and we received what we ordered. Â As some of the others mentioned, the interior decor is plain, but clean. Â
I definitely would go back and recommend others to try the sushi - it is worth it, and is sold at a very reasonable price for such a large portion. Â It was of similar quality to the specialty Japanese sushi restaurants.
