Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse

It's Gibsons...the name says it all!  Excellent dining experience any time of the day.  A house hold favorite.

Good service . Waiter was attentive. The Prime rib I had was one the best I had for the price.

It's okay, certainly does not live up to all the hype.  This is mostly a business lunch crowd and not conducive to friendly conversation.

We came for lunch and the prices were much more reasonable, except for dessert.  Yes, dessert cost MORE than the entrée ~ go figure.

It's a steakhouse so why sooooooooooooooooo much seafood?  And why are 5 of the 7 soups seafood based?  I hate fish.  Today a nice cup of soup would have hit the spot, not at this spot.

I was entertained that I had to use my steak knife to cut the butter and spread it on the bread.  Overkill.

Our server was attentive (I wish he had told us his name), our food came out quickly, portions are generous, food is served hot.

My summary:  I would come back for lunch, skip dessert, and not be with people that I don't see often so I would not worry that I could not hear every word they spoke.
