Hank's Oyster Bar

Top-notch service, quality, and selection of food. I had raw oysters (delish), fried oysters (huge and juicy - almost to the point of gross), crabcake (lumpy with very little filler), steamed shrimp (hefty portion), cocktail shrimp (huge) and even the bread basket was good - thick, soft, chewy bread. Yes, I eat a lot. It was all perfection.

10PM is the new 5PM. Oysters are tasty and it's interesting to compare the different flavors from various regions. The cocktail shrimps are massive and also great options. The downside is that the bar area is small so may be hard to find seating.

Note that the establishment is very particular on IDs. They totally pulled a TSA and would not serve alcohol to my friend because the license expired recently.

Great oysters, both raw and fried.
Good atmosphere.
I'm a native New Englander, so I love a good seafood place. This is somewhat upscale but is a great substitute for those seaside clam shacks of coastal CT.
